but I think as you get older you just realize recruiting is a pretty shaddy game and 17 year old kids will make decisions that seem very strange to you.
On top of that, there's the hype machine that winds up around certain recruits and ultimately you get kind of let down by their "talent", because they can never live up to what they've been built as.
|2 hours 14 min ago||not really||
back in the 80's/90's Michigan used to recruit NJ pretty hard. For some reason they kind of stopped getting many kids out of there, maybe a refocus by PSU?.
Hayden Fry's Iowa teams always seemed to have multiple starters from NJ. New Jersey has always been a decent source of Big Ten players

many years ago, they stayed in Clarion, Pa. I imagine its not a lot cheaper but the drive into Happy Valley is tricky, as in leave early, then leave an hour or two earlier than you planned.

3 of the 4 blocks were executed perfectly.

to cut block, ie take the legs out of the DL. Henry just beats his man who is slow to cut block.
that was going to be a crossing play in front of the LB's. Michigan seemed to have it covered anyway.

is caught behind the line of scrimmage you can have as many lineman downfield as you want.

watch Ben Braden hopelessly trying to find someone, anyone to block and finally just deciding he should be in on the tackle at the end.

that could happen is that both companies knew about what was happening and in fact were complicit in the way they opperated the games so that inside info could be used to win more easily.

These people are using the data from their own companies to go make their fantasy teams on another site. It doesn't work that way with casino games, if it did it would be outlawed.
I would guess most employees of LV sportsbooks are barred from placing bets at their employer or any other casino sports book.

Have a great d because his offense and special teams play fundamentally poor football and constantly put his defense in bad field position.
He also isn't playing those weak WVU schedules anymore.

But they'll find a new more amazing way to lose. Probably soon.
|1 day 13 hours ago||I recorded this game||
this morning off FS1 replay, probably on later this week, because of Texas fans conspiracy theories.
It was a very big mistake that sort of went by without anyone even noticeing. I didn't notice myself. My guess is on the previous play OkSt completed a long pass and the sideline guys probably picked up their shit and moved prematurely, then they called the play back for a hold. For whatever reason they simply put the yard sticks in the wrong place. Yet, no one seems to be raising a protest on the KSU sideline.
Ends up being a big moment in a tight game. Careless mistake by the refs, but not conspiracy worthy.

he's got the next play signalled in to Rudock before the ball is even put into play most of the time. The organization of this team is night and day.

I was at that game. Game time temp was 51 and dropping, 10-20 mph wind straight from the North/Northeast and gusty. It did not feel anything like 50 degrees, I was in layers and a pretty good parka and was still cold. It was dry at kickoff and the forecast was for the rain to hold off until after the games conclusion. Those that were smart and looked at radar brought their ponchos, those like me did not and there were a lot of us. When the rain started falling early in the 2nd quarter of a drab game that MSU was dominating and Purdue looking unwilling to even fight, yeah leaving at halftime became an idea.
By 5 minutes left in the first half the rain was starting to pelt down with an occasional frozen bit. Any chances that it might let up or that you wouldn't get to soaked were gone. A quick look at radar for me showed an awful lot of dark green with yellow splotches heading to East Lansing. The score was 21-0, Purdue looked dead and it was miserable.
I do not blame one single person for leaving that game. This site has often awarded "game endurance badges" for awful weather games and this one was easily one of the most miserable few hours of watching a football game I can remember. If MSU has an equivalent out there, fans that remained can certainly claim their own badge.

often the redshirt thing is players choice. Coaches often advice kids they should take a redshirt but there are times when the kid says he wants to do anything to play.

is the defending D2 champ. Current coach brought them from dormant program to Nat. Champs in 7 years. John Wristen
Doesn't explain why Hecklinski is there, but its not like he went to some terrible D2 program.

for awhile in the late 90's early 2000's it was excellent. Some people left like Olberman, Mayne and Patrick which didnt' help things. Its unwatchable with all the talk they do now.
fwiw, College Game Day was an excellent show when it was 1 hour. I quit watching after it went to 2 hours, just so much over analysis and jibber jabbering. It was good before they made Corso a court jestering bafoon.
