how hard this story has been pushed, and by who, a day or two after Michigan completes their domination of the Big Ten.

those in charge wanted. For all RR's faults his open access was a godsend to the Michigan program. This? Is no fun really.

Great memories of that game.

is a hell of long time between outright titles. A lot of great players and teams have played at Michigan since then never did this.

I don't miss those non-sense pressers
|5 days 20 hours ago||If you think||
Detroit produces as much D1 ready basketball talent as it once did I don't think we can't help you.
The demographic trends also relate to everyone and their brother being equals in facilities. Michigan once had a great advantage in that category, even to a degree in basketball.
Now everyone has the latest and greatest and the financial backing to continue to have the latest and greatest. The arms race is no longer heavily tilted in Michigan's favor.

with their "regulars" back, perhaps we should get bonus points for playing Staee when they were injured since they appeared to be better then.

to call your recruit on your university supplied phone and have him call you back on a cheap throw-away phone you bought at wal-mart?

"What they should have done: first 13 games are a round robin. Top seven and bottom seven are then grouped, final 6 games are round-robin within groups. Big Ten title: amazingly important. Conference stretch run: amazing. Downsides: schedule uncertainty and tough on bubble teams. But, man, just think of those three weeks at the end of the year. Would be must see."
This is pretty much what the Scottish Premier League does. (soccer). Creates a tremendous run of important games for both halves of the league.

MSU without Payne/Dawson and injured Appling was still supposed to contend for a Big Ten Championship
UM without McGary was supposed to finish 6th with an NCAA bid in danger.

how impatient 'fans' can be.
|1 week 5 days ago||John Beilein||
has shown a tremendous amount of fire and passion in these two games against State. He nearly blew a gasket at Breslin and probably deserved a T. Yesterday he was as intense as I can remember in one of these games.
The man has become Michigan through and through, love his passion and his desire to win at Michigan.
|1 week 6 days ago||fully disagree||
The Breslin Center is the loudest, toughest, atmosphere in the BIG. Nobody has students that surround the court that are that engaged in a game like at State. The reason the game at State sounded poor on TV was because ESPN's microphones were turned way down. I was there, it was the loudest building I've been in.
Could care less about the buildings themselves, they are both concrete and steel monoliths of functional engineering. They serve their purpose in every way. At Michigan its simply prettier on the inside. Michigan went with comfort and 'extras', State went with functionallity.
All that said what makes a building tough to play in is the team on the floor and John Beilein has himself a damn fine team.

pos bangs especially Michigan wins over State posbangs

|1 week 6 days ago||State's first half||
defense was very good, they forced Michigan into about 6 just butt ugly shots that only drew backboard. Had that kind of play continued State wins.
|1 week 6 days ago||Used to respect||
the way Izzo handled the media. He was honest, direct and didnt' bs about anything. But as he's grown older he's become more of an excuse machinge, the exact kind of excuses he used to accuse Michigan of using early in his career when he was trying to knock off this state's top dog from its pedastal.
He wanted a rivalry and now he's got one and apparently he doesn't like it.

|2 weeks 2 days ago||This quote||
"I've kind of accepted that I'm not getting reception in and around Michigan Stadium," [Adam] Stillman said. "The problem is in all the other areas. There's nothing to do while I'm waiting on line for an hour to get into the stadium, and there's little added value from being in the stands watching the game."
Makes me want to punch every fan under the age of 30.

more like aluminum or aluminum alloy, it flexes when it hits.
|2 weeks 4 days ago||Assembly Hall||
is a very large building actually. It holds 17,472. Very high ceiling, long spans of girders. For being built in 1971 it still looks fantastic.

Today UW has been playing great basketball and we've been struggling.
