Every time I bring this stuff up the instant response is that it happens everywhere. So, what does everybody think? Does this in fact happen everywhere? Do the northern teams just not pony up as much dough?
My own thoughts are that it may happen a little bit in other places but it is rampant in the south. Hugh Freeze represents the culture well down here. Act as if you're above board. Go to church and tell everybody about it. Say the right things in public. Do whatever you can get away with in private.
I remind him that he did terrible on an even playing field in college football and the NFL. He's a very good coach at bama but only good withoutt all of the advantages he curretly enjoys.
I get unbelievable amounts of grief from my Alabama friend because Saban was able to win a natty so quickly at Bama. He keeps asking when Harbaugh will do it. When I tell him it's gonna take time to recruit and build he just tells me that I'm making excuses. It's ridiculous and frustrating.
I will never again use the term "deflategate". From here on out I will only speak about that period in time as the "NFL's BS Brady witch hunt." Thank you.
Hearing a lot about Saban and Harbaugh in the news lately. A lot of people are talking about who's the better coach. I gave this question a lot of thought and came up with this question:
Do you honestly think Saban could have done what Harbaugh did at Stanford?. How about San Francisco?..

I can understand having a school preference but Hayes seems like he's going out of his way to avoid Michigan. Does he somehow feel disrespected because we didn't recruit him hard enough or something?
