I agree with this. I use it…

I agree with this. I use it to mean mistakes. Unfortunately, the ambiguity leaves room for people to legitimately and illegitimately doubt his sincerity.

On a positive note, judging by twitter replies, both the MSU and OSU fan bases are totally aligned and determined to identify and punish those who espouse anti-semitism in any form. Didn’t know those groups were such strong allies prior to this.

I'll be there

This was my Christmas present from my 13 year old son. We're going together. He's only seen Michigan win in person - UCONN (football, a win is a win), RPI (hockey) and Stanford (basketball). Don't get off the east coast much.

Not an Unlucky Break

Being outhustled created that goal.

Most Lethargic Period of the Year

Slow to the puck; lazy passes; out of position; losing most battles on the boards. I have really admired this team's personality and hard working approach so far this season. Not evident tonight yet.

Isn't the more likely

Isn't the more likely scenario that Shane is not the second string qb.

I know this feeling

Joe Pisarcik and Larry Csonka blow a hand off. And Herman Edwards scores a touchdown. The difference is both those teams were headed for 3-11 seasons. And I was 8 years old. Feels the same.

If you want a laugh

Look it up on Urban Dictionary.

Some combination of short man

Some combination of short man disease and manufactured outrage -- Mark Dantonio (who is not short, but carries himself as such)

Is Aikman a totally annoying homer for Dallas

I hate the cowboys but I cannot help by hear it. And I think Buck has caught it from Troy - Stockholm Syndrome?

I don't fell like I hear it from Moose Johnson when he calls a Dallas game.

Devin Gardner

Held on to my optimism way too long because he seems like a good person. Not sure I can think of a player that I wanted to see succeed at Michigan more than Devin Gardner.

Kelly is unbelievable

If Hoke went for two and then didn't take a knee, I would be apoplectic. But Kelly will probably throw Golson under the bus for the loss.

Likely that clause was in the

Likely that clause was in the original employment contract and both parties agreed to the original clause in tact.

Or an evil sarcastic version

Or an evil sarcastic version of Larry King's USA Today columns . . .

Dantonio Issues

He can say what he wants because of his on field success against Michigan, but Mark Dantonio has the worst case of short man's disease I have ever seen in a man of his height.

He's a good coach, but seems like just a miserable person. (BTW I'd take that over incompetent coach/nice guy all day long).

Sorry if this is stating the obvious.

Conservatism

Is the extreme conservatism on Hoke? 7 yards off receivers, no downfield shots? Does he dictate this? Did Nuss take shots at UA?

Being Stubborn

It would strike me that being stubborn when you are more competent or possess better vision than others - Winston Churchill, Steve Jobs, etc. - is, in fact, a virtue. Wouldn't ascribe Churchillian level character to Saban, but his competence has been on display for a while now. And the Jobs comparison seems to hold some merit.

Being stubborn when you are continually wrong or behind trend can be the key reason for your demise. I think Hoke fits this description pretty well.

Have you not heard any

Have you not heard any criticism of his choice for head football coach?

Implying?

Targeting Peppers

Did it seem like in the second quarter they were trying to test Peppers? Wouldn't be crazy to test a freshman CB playing man, but given last week's issues would this make your gameplan?
