Don't forget Peppers is apparently a safety now.
Official Visit

I wouldn't be too worried about him not taking an official visit, Kelly is from Oak Park. Probably not much of a reason to waste a free trip to any school in the country to get two counties south.

Woops, sorry about that. Need to get my eyes checked out, apparently.

Here's the Rosenberg article.

Here's the Response.

LBs coach... Says he's the Defensive Coordinator and the Linebackers Coach. Wonder what that means for Coach Manning?

The settlement

The fact USF settled doesn't necessarily mean they thought they would lose in court. They would look at the likelihood they would lose, the amount they would probably end up paying if they did lose, the amount they would continue spending on lawyers in the case, regardless of whether they won or lost, and the number Leavitt was willing to settle at. Looking at all of that, they would decide if it was a good idea to settle.

Maybe they were hoping the

Maybe they were hoping the tire fire would seem to burn a little lower with a new QB. Harbaugh does have to approve any trade.

I know Gruden got his start I know Gruden got his start there, but this really has the same ring to it that the Dungy to Detroit rumors that flew around last year. The connection exists (Dungy is from the area), but the advantages of these guys leaving a job they love for long, stressful days seem minimal. It's possible he takes the job, but I certainly know what I would do if it was me.
Miggy will actually be 34 and

Miggy will actually be 34 and 35 for those two seasons, and it's not like they don't know this isn't a real possibility. Hopefully he can still play first then, but he's never been great defensively, and his health has been touch and go (at best) the last few seasons. If they think keeping him off the field will keep him healthy (which it obviously would), and that the defense needs to be better in that corner (which definitely wouldn't hurt next season, either), they'll move him sooner than later.

Down the line

Good signing, we need him behind Cabrera.

Should be interesting how this works in a few years, since Miggy probably won't be a viable option at first through the term of this contract. Hopefully he can keep hitting and we'll be able to trade him.

Something else to keep in mind

While your general point - that the stock indicator of Dominos is a good way to look at his tenure there - is probably pretty valid, I don't think your conclusion is. Can't really blame Brandon for that giant drop on the graph in 2007, since it wasn't really his fault that the economy crashed.

This is what Hoke should have

This is what Hoke should have said in the first place. It does not sound like he's contemplating firing Brandon any time soon though.
