Most? Really? I highly doubt that USC had around 40 first round QBs drafted in the first round, and that ND has had more than 33. Kinda reaching for reasons there.

Wow, the disparity between UM and OSU is surprisingly large, just as the disparity between UM and MSU is surprisingly small.
Either this ranking means a lot, or it means very little. I can't figure out which.

I've read Nick for many years now. When he first started I thought he was young and that his writing would gradually improve. It hasn't. He writes in a very casual way, which isn't so bad, except that it is peppered with many mixed metaphors and non-sensical phrasing. He does not seem to be interested in improving, which is why I called it his 'style.'
A few quick examples:
"Black is so much more smooth than I thought he'd be after watching his high school highlight tape." Awkward. Does he mean, "Black is much smoother than I thought he would be..."
"He has a unique ability to make difficult receptions look relatively easy." Not quite. Something 'unique' can't be replicated. Yet we've seen other receivers do this. Perhaps he means 'rare.'
"The staff sees a football player in there and sees a guy who, with more polish, can be a possible starter at tackle." Awkward. What about, "The staff sees a football playing in there who, with more polish, could be a possible starter at tackle."

Appreciate the news. Baumgardner still has a, um, style all his own, and he apparently aint changing it for no one.

Really? I'd jump at the chance to watch OSU practice. Its always good to be a more informed UM fan. Plus afterward I'd attempt to convince Harbaugh he should meet with me so I can tell him what I saw. d

Sweet burn dude! Calling a man a woman is so derrogatory!
(By the way, the 80s called and said they wanted their chauvinism back.)

I always thought there was an inverse relationship between the size of one's dong and the quality of one's grammar. I mean, me always thoughted that be the case.

Frankly, you sound out of touch. Today's society, or youth, are very sex-positive, and many women feel ok with exploring sexual relations and pushing the envelope. Also, its commonly known that today's youth are having more sexual encounters, but not more sex than past generations. They find other ways to satisfy their needs.

I dont think the story sounds far fetched. Two people coming home, probably at least somewhat intoxicated, from a late night out (3am), in the same hotel, in the same elavator, and the guy makes an indecent proposal, and she partially accepts. I've seen/heard about more indecent propositions made and accepted. And the fact that it might have led to an unwanted sexual encounter is also not so far-fetched.
It remains to be proved if it actually occurred, but its not far fetched.

Back in 2009 people were saying there are 3-9 reasons that Michigan wouldn't make it to the national championship anytime soon. And so far they have been right. This teasing of state for their 3-9 record is, to me, a bit embarassing. Let's get to the playoffs at least before we tease someone else for etching the same record into the history books that we did several years ago.

"He is uber competitive . . . just like Harbaugh."
Both guys are competing with uber? How in the hell do they find the time? Also, I'm not sure such a venture is wise, it seems like that niche is starting to get flooded.

"I have heard multipe times though that he is a giant ass hat personally."
To be fair, there are multiple people who have said this about Harbaugh. While I like the personality traits that lead some people to say such things, it doesnt make much sense to accept calling one guy an asshat as a representation of fact and just ignore it when people say it about people we like.

"Just more proof of Kevin Spacey's mastery of all things acting."
Completely disagree. There's acting, and there's over-acting. His overacting is that show ruins it. And his southern accent, as anyone from the south will attest, is horrible.

There's talking about politics, there's talk about talking about politics (i.e., Brian's rules), and now we have the OP's talk about talk about talking about politics. Which means the comments about the OP are talk about talk about talk about talking about politics. Great.

Hmmm. My takeaway from folks reporting their experiences in Ohio stadium is that they have all been surprised to have either been treated fairly well or, at worst, tolerated. But if everyone is continually surprised to not be treated poorly, is there real reason to be surprised?
Or maybe I just missed all the negative reports.

Greek tragedies are overblown, melodramatic, and distract our attention. The tragedy is that many kids who grow up with gangs and in slums never get the breaks and chances Hernandez got. Hernandez got many breaks and chances. The tragedy is that the wrong person got them, and some other kid who would have made better use of them is stuck in some shitty job in some shitty slum.

The use of video stills to protest a very close call only makes sense when video replay is used in the game itself. Otherwise, you are comparing two different ontologies. Or using using oranges to complain about apples. Or something like that.

I think the culture here is to look beyond the information to the person presenting it. Some people present an opinion just by their selection of information and decision to post it. For instance, certain posters would get downvoted to death if they posted negative information about Beilein without also presenting an opinion.

The story seems cool, but feels fake. From my recollection, the area where they would have to be in order to have a decent game of catch (15 yard spread) is a bit of a ways away from the front porch of Dominicks, deeper into the quad. There are also trees on the other side of the street I believe. To be able to hear what Jim is saying to the girls seems a bit far fetched.
It could all be true, but doesnt feel that way.
