I don't care about how many stars he or the other recruits get.  What is most important is that Lewis and the other All-Americans are going to go against high level talent which will hopefully expedite their transition into college ball.

in the sense that if we won the B1G title it would cement that the program is back.  Not as much for the team or the fanbase, but hopefully for the rest of the state and the nation.  

Going deep in the tourney would probably achieve the same, but since the B1G is so darn tough it would help.  

I respect Hoke for doing this.  I think it sets a standard that other coaches should aspire to.

I think Morgan plays the 5 or 4 if you put Mitch there and I think GR3 sees the court earlier and more often than Nik S. by starting at the 3.  

Regardless, the depth that next years class allows the team to have is sick.  

quantifies him as a mid level 3 pt shooter, but that's last year.  This year he's sub 30%.  That's not a percentage that shouts take a 3 w/in 5-10 secs of the shot clock.  That's the OP's point.

Don't make an image like some have suggested, setting it as a secondary works but you still have to copy those drives if you don't want to have that drive in there.

In the future, buy an Ext. HD and backup these files regularly and all you'll have to do is update your backup next time you get a new pc

All they did was address last year, so if the NCAA decides to go farther back than the beginning of the Tat5 then they should be screwed.

While the story is interesting and made for a decent read (hard to fathom when you consider it's Long and it's a TSIO article) but I found the comments to be even more interesting.  

I can't believe how delusional their fans are. Even the most "understanding" of posters still only comments that JT was just lying, but is still a good man.  No one seems to remember that he knowingly played ineligible players, knowingly held back information from the school and the NCAA, and has also shown a track record of breaking ruls or at least turning a blind eye to boosters and shenanigans taking place at Columbus.

I may have been enraged when we got punished for practicing too much and how it came about, but when it came down to it, the NCAA punished us for an rules violation and we have to live with it.  Hopefully TSIO will learn that lesson over the next 3-5 years while they're done playing football in November...

If you look at the defensive rankings from 2010 you will see a couple different telling bits of information:

We gave up on average 447 yards a game for a 12 game schedule. (5375 yards total)  Let's just call it 450 for numbers sake.  That put us at 108 in the nation.

Now let's say the defense improves at a rate of 50 yards less given up a game which would equal out to being 4800.  That's only a 575 yard difference extrapolated over those 12 games.

Now that may not seem like a big deal but that difference would move us up to 80 in the rankings, and I'd like to think one or two more wins.  Part of that may be "changed" in that our offense may not be as explosive as Magnus put it, but I still think that this modest change would translate into more wins.

If you want to get crazy and say we gave up 100 less yards a game (end total 4300) we're now getting closer to the top 50...

I don't know if this is possible, but with Mattison engineering a better defense and hopefully calling better plays coupled with a weaker Big Ten doesn't make the possibility that insane...

From what I remember, Austin White told the coaches to f' off when he fumbled three times in a drill and they sent him to the bench.  That's not a product of recruiting.

One, starting a sentence with and is not technically wrong. Neither is calling someone by their first name. I would look at it as more of awkward writing, but since you're a teacher ill have to defer to your superior educational experience.

Now we just need Willingham and it'll make for a decent NSD.....and one surprise (raises hands in supplication to the good Lord!!!!)
