Football isn't going

Football isn't going anywhere. There is way to much money to be made.

Finally something sports Finally something sports related to get excited about. Been rough this year. Go Lions!
Nebraska

Now living in Nebraska just got that much worse....they are world beaters again. This fanbase just makes you want to claw your eyes out. Two weeks ago they want everyone fired now they can't sing the praise of Pelini loud enough.

Their fans are no better...

Living in Nebraska and having gone to their games, any time I hear how great and accommodating their fan base is I puke in my mouth. If you go to a game the experience is fine because 90% of the crowd is 60+ (exaggeration but not by much). If you oppose the Big Red Machine and live in this state full time you get a true sense of their fan base.

They have a great base of douche bags just like any other school following and have no problem getting into your face. They shouldn’t be held on a pedestal as an example of how everyone should act because you will find they are not far from the MSU and OSU fan base. Believe me, living here and being a Michigan fan this place couldn’t be more anti-Michigan after the 1997 season.

Exactly This means nothing.
Harbaugh This would just blow me away if it happen. I highly doubt it but you know the HORROR happen so I guess it is a possibility.
Why? Because I am not going to be the only one haunted by this picture. As you can see there is plenty to go around.
Coming to a carwash near you Mangino Washing
Hurts but doesn't = death It will hurt losing a veteran like him. He is a good corner but I don't think he is ready and it would serve him well to stay another year. There were a few games this year that he was taken to task. I personally don't think he is physical enough at the line. It would be nice to see him come back next year and really improve that piece of his game. I wish him all the luck if he does go, he has been fun to watch.
Comparision between BBAL and Football I think trying to draw any type of conclusion on the success of what Beilein has done vs what RichRod has done is very difficult to do. In Basketball you can rely heavily on one player to get a team a lot further than they really are, I am not saying that was done at Michigan but it is completely different. My main reason for wanting to give this coaching staff another year is we will have a QB that has been in the system for 2 years with the athletic ability to succeed. Now, next year if we do not see improvement and in my opinion that means Bowl Game then maybe it is time for us to look another direction but just as Brian said I have a hard time not believing this team won’t be better next year.
Press Conference RichRod talked about when he went to shake hands with Hope he brought over Ruckmen. Ruckmen got suspend by the Big 10 earlier in the year when he jumped on a Illinois lineman after the whistle was blown. If I remember correctly it was right after Jonas was suspended. RichRod made a comment he would like to see the Big Ten review that play. Similar situation where no flag on the play but Big Ten reviewed and suspended Ruckmen. So Hope felt RichRod needed to keep to his team. Well RichRod said that Hope said this is Ruckmen and we thank you for doing what you did to him.
Post Game Handshake That is poor taste by a Head Coach. What a piece of work.
To the Purdue Team yes but thier coach..... Just watched the press conference and what a shady move by a Head Coach. What was the need to bring Reckman over and say what he said? No class.
Some one thinking rational I can't believe it. Just amazed at your rational post. This team isn't what we are use to. Everyone wants to see them win but it is during these times of adversity that you see the true colors of your fanbase. Everyone needs to stop thinking this is Michigan and we win because we are and starting thinking this team is missing a lot of key pieces or is very inexperienced at key positions. Living in Nebraska I watched a team go through this transition and can say it isn't easy watching even from a non-supporter but what I can say is give him time. Who knows he could turn out to be a bust much like Callahan and we will be looking at a new coach in two years. I am going to support the only team I have ever known and that is MICHIGAN. I have always felt year three will be his test, if this team doesn't show a much different attitude next year RichRod may not be the man for the job but until then all you can do is chear for these kids that play every week regardless of the outcome.
You make a good point. Even You make a good point. Even looking at both M's and Iowa States schedules you can draw some comparisions.
Just for the record Just for the record Iowa State does suck. Living in Nebraska (Big12 country) I can tell you they are a very bad team. Last week they played the Huskers and benefited from 8 turnovers and only scored 9 points. They do not help Iowa's arguement in my opinion.
Sparty I was watching the end of that game with a buddy last weekend and he was rooting for the stop by Sparty as he has some unfounded hate for Iowa. Told him to not hold is breath as Sparty always finds some way to lose and sure enough. Iowa does have some holes and don't think they would match up against anyone well that they would potentially face in the NC. But to say they don't deserve it if they are undeafeated isn't fair either they have done what they need to do to win.
Brandon Minor I am going to go out on a limb and say Minor is not 100%. Doubt he will be any better than 75% - 80% the rest of the season, seems like he has a nice game and then the following week comes back hurting more. Let's hope since he was limited in the PSU game this is one of those on games.
Can't agree more No reason for what amounts to a block in the back. You can't justify shoving someone from behind. It is dangerous and something that needs to flagged.
