Whiny bitches. Really everyone's gonna just bitch about the officiating not the fact that we came out flat as shit for 3 q's or we continue to destroy rhythm by alternating Gardner with the same worthless set of Demard decoy plays? So is everyone upset simply because all the garbage worthless talk putting the cart before the horse and trying to figure out how we could back door our way into Indy and the Rose Bowl will no longer be a way to spend the day in front of your computer at work? I thought this community was way better and way more sophisticated than this. Or is it just that anyone who voices dissent like me get banished to protect the thin skinned herd? Especially for Kiffin that's pretty level headed. They've got a big game next week so he's playing it pretty cool. Essentially saying they did everything they could to take us out of this game but we just showed it on the field. No big deal, props to our guys. Our guys got it done, businesslike. Now we move on to next week. Good stuff, I actually respect it. |

And not negging me for simply having a differing opinion--sincerely, that doesn't seem to happen much on this site. Sure I guess 1/3 is not likely so that make some sense. My bigger point is that we have no business having Rose Bowl expectations right now. I just think that's a bit premature for a still very mediocre team. I understand and appreciate the enthusiasm--I found myself losing some of the cautiousness from my cautious optimism following the secon half of the NW game but last week should've brought us all back to Earth. We are not going to be competitive with the top teams in the B1G right now. Not with our O-Line, inability to run and the kind of QB play we got last week. Yes we can flash brilliance at times and out D is light years ahead of where it was but that makes us a 9 win team, tops. Which is pretty good considering what we've been through the last few years. And the seniors should hold their heads up high for what they will accomplish, but I don't see the possibility that they leave with a B1G ring. |

How did they miss the Russel Sheppard TD for LSU? The guy was standing right there and he was 4 feet in the end zone when his knee hit. The goal line extends out of bounds so it doesn't matter if the ball crossed out of the field of play or not as the announcers spent 5 minutes discussing. Holy amateur hour. |

Mark Richt in his place, then I'd be fine with them firing Zook. Otherwise I'd love to see him get a lifetime extension. If he did get fired, I'd love to see him get another job in the B1G. The play at the end of the 1st half just shows how poorly they are coached. Clearly no situational awareness on the field on the part of the players. No excuse for not going down and even worse trying to spike with 1 second left instead of throwing at the end zone. Terrible. |
