Disappointed to see Smotrycz go as you could really see him stepping up next year, but there could be a lot of reasons. The other two were probably looking at little to no playing time so it makes sense to move while they have significant eligibility. Smotz will really be missed. He wasn't perfect but was pretty good, and played hard
It's "hilarious" how widely this point is misunderstood. Yes he has the skills of a 2-guard without the shooting skills. That's why he''s not on a roster. If he was a better point guard, or a better shooter, he would be.
Didn't this all start with something you saw in a thread with the phrase "pimp hand" in it? Isn't that one you might want to avoid when the wife/kids/secretary are around?
A lot of it is being relaxed, timing, body and foot position, and playing relaxed and confident - it definitely can be taught and will improve with practice
I expect we will play well on the road this week. The PSU game was a rough environment for our guys but they went through it and will be better for it. Minimize the turnovers and this should go very well.
It's great if the possibility exists - right now I just want to win more games - we beat Purdue and we're playing with house money in the last two - and Wiscy and OSU better be worried.
I agree on the families - can't fault them totally for doing what is in their best interests - blaming them is too easy for the schools or anyone else.
