West Quad - Adams.  Freshman 67-68.  Soph 68-69.  The green roast beef was nasty.  Crazy Jims and Thompson pizza ($1 for large pepperoni - times have changed!)

Let's review the math

Michigan up by 4, Robinson has the ball.  No foul, time runs out.

Vegas line was 4.5 points.  If Robinson makes at least one foul shot, we win by 5.

Ya wonder if Hamilton had some money on the game!

So why isn't Tom smiling

Draw a Venn Diagram.  One circle is sexual predator scnadals and the other circle is dirty college basketball recruiting.  Wonder what programs are in the overlap section?

It's the talent, Stupid

Quoting a former President, "it;s the talent, stupid".

This gamereminded me, unfortunately, o our little tangle with OSU.  When a team with a lot of talent, AND ARE FOCUSED, plays a team with some talent, it ain't purty.  The difference in talent level is whatstood out to me.  Fortunately, our Jimmy will be able to recruit the talent; Mikey D has reached his ceiling.  That ceiling is two floors below Jimmy's.

Let's stay the coursefor a couple of years an see what happens.

What about existing personnel

Sad to see Durkin go, but life goes on.  What about Mattison as DC and promoting one of these high school coaches (from Cleveland or New Jersey) on staff to a coaching position if theyhave the backgroun for it?

Children,

It the OSU game in 1969, Bo's first victory over Woody.

O those sophomores!

I think it was in 1969 or 1970, mind kind of blurs to those days.  Passing a student up the seats was a common itemback then.  One time there was a girl with white slacks and a purple top who fought like crazy  when the students started passing her up from approximately row 4.  When she got approximately 20 rows from the top,  a chant started about "throw her over".  When she was about 5 rows from the top, that chant was continuing; however, she momentarily dropped from sight among the students.  Shortly thereafter, she was back up, being passed towards the top. (meanwhile the Blue probably scored twice).  Finnally they threw her over the top!  There was a gasp of disbelief.  Aa few seconds later she re-appeared.  They had a dummy dressed in the same outfit that they had switched!

I'm confused about both lines

We keep the OLine (aka the 'stuntees') unchanged so that they can develop chemistry.  We rotate the DLine (aka the 'stuntors') so that they can remain fresh.  Yet the coaches have said that the DLine was not acting as a conmplete unit. Score one for lack of chemistry. The coaches also say that the best 11 players will be on the field.  Does that mean we really don't have the best lines, only better lines?
