Many people have them, just one suggestion is to make sure it is not too loud.   And you may want to bring plenty of cord so it can be placed far enough from the crowd so none of your neighbors unplug it if it begins to get loud or annoying.  Have seen a few situations like this get ugly

Coaching t-ball / coach pitch

3 years ago, went to the first coaches meeting and was informed of the rules (coaching stepson).   I have also coached frshman softball for 4 years and work as a hitting & pitching coach.  Every kid there bats no outs are made and every kid rounds the bases and scores a run.   I played college ball and a buddy was coaching his son as well in the same league and we both questioned the rules and asked what the kids were to gain from it.  In the end what we figured out was that the league wanted the money from sign ups and if they "hurt" a kids feelings he / she and their siblings might not be back the following year.   At $35 a kid that could be a large loss of money.   Now these kids or most had played at least a year of tball only and should have known the basics but maybe 2 of 15 kids on the team new or understood what a out even was.   For me I am 34 and began t-ball at 4 and at that time it was a "real" game and I would say 80% of the kids could comprehend the basics of the game.   I am extremely competitive and that was brought out by my dad who would talk trash or try and get in my head whether it was playing baseball or teaching me golf, all things that taught me how to lose and how to handle the dissapointment that comes from it.   There were times I would get so upset with a loss whether a game I played or watching M football that at the end of the day dad would use that as a coaching point for me.

While coaching kids now a days so many need to be pampered as they do not know how to handle criticism and too many parents coddle their children protecting them from dissapointment.   I had to write up a co-worker for not doing his (24) job a while back and I got a call from his mother telling me not to treat her son like that, my response was for him to be on time and not sleep in the warehouse and maybe be responsible for his own actions.

I believe a part of this comes from the electronic age we live in, how many kids will "restart" a video game if they are losing or not going the way they want.  Have seen that first hand on many occasions, either too many children are "soft" and these are the people that will be leading this country in 30 + years, it is kind of scary to me.

I liked Dinardo's idea

with M / o$u in one and Neb / Psu in another division.   I think he had a Bo and Woody division set up.   Football is the only sport where divisions really are needed, baseball, basketball and softball do not have to set in divisions.   The sec and big XII don't /didnt have divisions for these other sports, so they would only play 4 teams once a year in basketball and the rest home / away.   And baseball and softball could rotate 2 on off each season, currently i dont think believe Wisc has a baseball program.

Trolls appear everywhere

for me personally I like to chat and hear from others.  However it seems to me us M fans only here from our lil' bro when he does something good and he dont shut up.   This site is really pretty good I have been following for a few years but only started posting recently.   From a football perspective I am excited about the addition and look forward to seeing these two great programs meet on the field on a  somewhat regular basis.

So why is it that on everything I have read the last few days that the speed thing is brought up?   Do most N fans really honestly think of the B10 as a slow conference?

With expanding to 12-16

and the ability to host a conference title game where 2 teams would play a 13th game before a bowl.   Why not have it set up where all teams play a cross division game at the end of the year.   The championship game could be at 8 pm at Ford field or Lucas oil and the rest could be at on campus sites.   My understanding of this is that the league would have to petiton the ncaa for it to happen but I dont know why they wouldnt.   Myself I dont really want a true playoff, if we get to where there are 4 16 team conferences I would like to see the bcs games as quarterfinals and have 3 games follow.   A playoff will never happen because SEC schools would have a absolute fit if they had to play in AA, Minny, or Madison in early December.

Same feelings

To me a truely great coach regardless of sport, has the ability to adapt a scheme with talent on hand. That is what we as M fans had seen for for 40 years, Bo, Mo and Carr molded the team around those strengths. With graduation and a constant turnover of players you have to be flexible and not pigeonholed to one way. As much as I cant stand the vest and o$u he is very good at adapting his team year in year out to what he has that season. To me RR has never done that from what I seen at WVU or his first 2 years he albeit a small sample.
