|1 day 7 hours ago||Or maybe they are actually||
Or maybe they are actually waiting to see what the findings are and how this all shakes out. If the whole staff is fired (looks likely), the camp probably goes away anyway and you don't have to publicly kick people that are already losing their jobs (rightfully so if what is alleged is true).
The fact that you want an instant reaction and can't understand why someone would wait is a bit troubling. Maybe a reaction is coming in a day or two.

Actually I think the recent discussion is that Wilson was "semi-pushed out" because (a) he was playing baseball, and (b) they wanted to give the starting job to Glennon.

Pac-12 rep mistakenly nominates UCLA, despite a 6-6 record, to represent the conference. Nomination results in giggles from playoff committee. Therefore, Pac-12 excluded.

Maybe not if a 1 loss Iowa team wins the championship.

ACC has Clemson and FSU among others. Good chance that one of them gets in. In fact, with Michigan having a tough road schedule and OSU and MSU possibly taking a step back, the B1G could be on the outside looking in. Pac12 may be questionable also.

Totally agree. Stops for autograph, runs toward tunnel and then, oh what the heck, give the dude on the overhang a high ten. Awesome.

Great perspective and so sorry for your loss. A loved one can be sick and their passing even expected and yet you can never truly prepare for the loss you will feel. Just realize there may be times when you need support and if you feel the slightest inclination of that, please reach out to others. It will be a great help to you and you will be surprised at the caring and understanding of those around us when we are dealing with something like this.

Agree on hospice. Took great care of my sister and I was so thankful for the advice and assistance.
|3 weeks 1 day ago||I lost my sister just over||
I lost my sister just over two years ago and then my father a little over a year ago. I don't know that I have ever gotten over that or returned to "normal" (whatever that once was) but it did help me a great deal to talk with others with similar experiences. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity before each of them passed to tell them how much I loved them and how much they had each impacted my life. After they had passed, that meant the world to me.
It's likely that most don't bottle their feelings up as much as me but if you have not recently expressed to her these things, I encourage you to do so. And of course focus on all of the positive impact that her life has had upon others. Best wishes.

First, they schools would not necessarily have to pay the players directly although that's probably the best way. Players could either get paid directly by boosters or by a booster club.
Second, if you think that the UM AD just breaks even, that's because it has a pile of money to continue building outrageous facilities and huge salaries.
Although a minor league system could work in theory, much of the fanbase is associated with the game because of the affliation with the schools. Take that away and watch the fanbase dwindle. Plus you basically have an established minor league system right now with the NCAA and the "kids" get a benefit of an education (if they want to use it).
I do agree that the NCAA cannot continue to have very strict rules but very selective and pathetic enforcement.

Um, I see that call made about once during the entire college football season.

Yes, we just cannot identify which one.

It may not sound middle class but when you consider that the starting price for a base Ford Explorer is $31K and an Explorer Sport starts at $43K (different class vehicles I get it) a $35K price (before tax incentives) sounds in line with what many people buy.
|7 weeks 3 days ago||I am not sure what "driver"||
I am not sure what "driver" would have a hands-on review since the Model 3 was just "released" and no one was allowed to drive one (only ride alongs). Hard to say it's not a driver's car when the reviewer has not driven it.
And you really need to drive one before deciding that. The Tesla Model S is plenty of a "driver's car" although admittedly its not as jerky or loud as a traditional sports car. But it does put you into the back of the seat and because the battery pack is located at the floor, the center of gravity is very low and allows for good, responsive handling.
|7 weeks 3 days ago||Yes, agree but some you worry||
Yes, agree but some you worry about more than others. I don't see players like Dunaway, McCaffery and others being much of a flight risk. Sure, anything can happen but those would be a shock. I think the point is that Samuels may not be in that "totally safe" category especially with two other RBs committed.
|7 weeks 3 days ago||I am fully on board with this||
I am fully on board with this technology. Full disclosure - I have a deposit in on a Model 3. Having driven the Model S several times over the years and I am a full believer. Sure, the technology needs to keep improving and getting cheaper but right now the Model S beats most of its competitors on most measures other than re-fueling convenience (and that is tipping closer to neutral). The performance and looks of the new models are compelling. I see a shift coming in the next 5-10 years with full electrics will be a significant share of the market. Obviously, the vast decline of fuel prices are slowing down adoption right now but if prices go back up, I feel the technology will be there to support a paradigm shift.
|7 weeks 3 days ago||Not sure that is accurate.||
Not sure that is accurate. Right now there are performance electric cars that go over 200 miles. Maybe not as affordable as you want but the technology is there.
I have been waiting on the Tesla Model S but trying to be practical so I put down my deposit on the Model 3. It's not cheap but $35,000 for a car that goes 0-60 in under 6 seconds (semi-performance) and gets 200 miles on a charge sounds pretty enticing. Oh, and it looks pretty cool also.

|9 weeks 2 days ago||Yes, I kind of got hooked as||
Yes, I kind of got hooked as a student season ticket holder with the Felsner/Robers years including Tamer and Ward and Shields. Those guys were rugged and paved the way for the later glory years of Morrison, Turco, etc.
I have to vote with Morrison but I will say than Connor is in the conversation. It's just that Connor's play I think is actually understated for his level of production. None of his skating, size or moves are off the charts but he is basically a leathal sniper with really good vision and a great set of hands. Without all of the dangling, that doesn't always translate to flashy but it's just as effective.
|9 weeks 2 days ago||Agree with you on Madden but||
Agree with you on Madden but I am not sure he is better than Larkin or Hagelin if we are comparing somewhat similar players. Larkin had the "disadvantage" of having to carry the offensive load but could have been quite the terror on the PK if used in that role. Madden's defensive anticipation and positioning was better than Larkin's but Larkin's hands are definitely better and remember we are talking about freshman Larkin.
Also, surprised that no one has mentioned Billy Muckalt at least in passing.
