After the first touchdown to Nico I felt Michigan should have really attacked with the size mismatch we have at WR, honestly it looked like they could have thrown 50/50 balls to Nico the rest of the game and he was going to either get the catch or force a ton of PI on their corners. DPJ and Black could likely have done the same.
This is great news to start the weekend! I’m hopeful and excited that we might see a good passing game next fall. Feels like it’s been a long time since we had much of a passing game. Really need the O line to progress as well.
I’m going to say Michigan in a close one. Michigan defense will limit their 3 shooting and we see Michigan get hot and win it 78-72. But defense really needs to limit their 3 point shooting game cause Nova shot the lights out last game, they’re scary for sure.
I’m pretty optimistic about next year. We return a lot of starters on both sides of the ball and that is especially positive for the defense. OL and QB need to improve a lot but returning experience is always good. Should have improved QB play with either Peters or Patterson as the starter. Beating rivals on the road is never easy but I’m very excited about the team next year.
Really disappointing to see such lackluster results on offense so far. I won’t speculate on Peters further than has been already but if he’s not ready to play then what is the plan if O’Korn were to get injured. Is it McCaffrey? Whoever is the current backup, appears to be Peters, then they are already preparing him as the backup. If O’Korn continues to play badly I don’t see why you wouldn’t play the backup even if only to talk to O’Korn and settle him down for a drive or 2. If no one else on the team is worth mentioning after O’Korn then we’re in a horrific state.
PSU may be the best but no way to tell from a win over Akron. I read several comments on a certain board where Spartys think BGSU would beat Florida, harder matchup etc. People are funny lol
On a 3 man line hurst is a NG, I thought he was great! He won't put up big numbers at times but he plugs holes, moves the line and was a disruptive force in the middle. Others will clean up and get the tackle/stat but he is extremely hard to block. He was in on quite a few tackles if I'm not wrong. Film breakdown will be favorable for him I think.
Speight continues to be frustrating as he looks good at times and then inexplicably has some throws that are way off. I liked that he was benched for a couple series to let him calm down, also felt it was a bit of a message to him that if he isn't focused he will be replaced.
OL was solid, good running lanes at times and pass protection was pretty good against a really good pass rush team. Hopefully the new starters continue to improve into a really good group. Overall they held up well against a talented D Line.
The running backs were good. Evans and Isaac appear to be a really good pair. There were times where the blocking was not good and they found a way to get yardage. Higdon looks good too.
Receivers looked pretty good although some early drops were frustrating. Black looks like a big playmaker and Perry is very good. The receivers are young so they should improve throughout the year as they get experience same with the TEs.
The turnovers and stalled drives turned a blowout into a closer game for too long hopefully that gets fixed.

Well on the bright side Chris Evans showed some flashes of brilliance this year, and Higdon looked pretty good, we don't really know what we got with Kareem Walker and Kingston Davis. So we do have young guys that could develop into great backs. Still stings to miss out on a big time talent but we do have some great young talent at the position.
Without the Ohio State fans who are paid by the B1G to referee er I mean protect OSU they got exposed. Delaney and the OSU fans who pose as refs need to go.
I'm not a Lions fan, I'm a 49ers fan since I was a kid. I'm sorry but put me in the NFL conspiracy theory category. I have hardly watched any NFL the last 4-7 years but every time I do the only thing I can think is that the whole thing is rigged. This game is exactly why I don't watch, don't spend money (admittedly I do have cable tv which basically is paying for it), and I just don't care about any NFL team or outcome anymore. It's just terrible, they pick a team to win in each game and the entire thing is just fake. The referees are there just to correct any attempt by the decided losing team to upset the decision already made on who will win by the NFL. Even the fines and punishments are decided by NFL PR. NFL is the new professional wrestling, such a joke.
My 7 year old went to the principals office and told on a kid for saying a bad word, upon investigation the bad word or rather term the kid used was "Go OSU". Luckily they found it as funny as I did.
Honestly growing up with Carr as HC, getting ahead early and then coasting to hold on to the win was familiar and I don't understand the panic amongst some. Also there is always room for improvement and in college football each game/season is fluid. Having Harbaugh and a great coaching staff will always give Michigan a chance. Just win!
