I think she was well aware.

I think she was well aware.

I got the impression that was

I got the impression that was a calculated decision. She knew Jon would be outplayed by Ramsay and she was willing to (if not planning to) sacrifice Jon... He just got lucky. As I mentioned in a previous post, I think Sansa is reaching her "final form".

I think you guys might be

I think you guys might be getting ahead of yourselves. Let's see how next week goes.

I think there's clearly some conflict brewing between Sansa and John... And I fear Ramsay may have worn off a little too much on Sansa (NTM Joffrey, Cersei, Little Finger, etc). We'll probably have to wait until next season for any of that to play out. Not sure what to expect next week.

Her "transformation" was

Her "transformation" was immediately preceded by her meeting with her brother... Where he begged her to make it stop. I think she's trying to save him with the added bonus of isolating the king from Cersei.

I like her character and

I like her character and don't see how she's at all comparable to Cersei. She's cunning and ambitious, but when has she used that to hurt anyone who didn't deserve it? Cersei has been an evil little shit since early childhood.

Fellas?

Fellas?

I don't think "believe him to

I don't think "believe him to be guilty" was the standard for conviction. I don't know/care enough about the case to have an opinion about whether or not the prosecution should have resulted in a conviction. But generally speaking... I'm glad the standard is a little higher than "I think he/she did it".

No conspiracy

Clever.

No conspiracy theories from me. Just the obvious practical implications if looked at critically for more than 10 seconds.

Not locked yet? Ok...

Information is power. It's not just about your personal privacy, or if you "have something to hide". It's about having control... The ability to monitor and manipulate the people as a whole. Even "metadata" (that people love to dismiss because it's not something "important" like a dick-pic) is extremely powerful in the right/wrong hands. If you want to say... Identify and disband some type of "dissenters"? Like a MLK, perhaps?

Told you so!

Give me my negs!

Because... I told you so (most recently in my last post 3 weeks ago)!

It's funny watching so many now act as if this wasn't hard to see coming. It shouldn't have been. But it's been a lonely opinion to have around here for some time.

The only reason I've put any

The only reason I've put any weight into the assumptions that Shane will be leaving is because of vague "inside info" I've heard rumblings about. I've seen nothing publicly to make me think that's the case and the circumstances up until now certainly don't lead me to the conclusion that he's on his way out. I think he may have very well just wanted another year to work with Harbaugh and compete for the job. Rather than wasting a year of eligibility as the #2 behind a 5th year transfer.

"Details available!... Just

"Details available!... Just not here."

I don't think they were

I don't think they were predicting a total destruction of BYU or that our single/close loss would be to top ten-ish team who would utterly destroy the Ducks.

The actual 3-1 looks far better than the preseason hypothetical 3-1s.

Any polls this early are an

Any polls this early are an absolute joke. Arguing where we do/don't belong is just silly. But they're not going anywhere... So I try to look at them as the mindless amusement they are (like ESPN).

I guess this as good a place

I guess this as good a place as any to go on record and take my lumps...

I think Smith is the guy, with Isaac mixed in (pretty much what got week one). I also think the results will improve going forward.

I think there's a ton of misplaced hope in Drake and there was a lot of "right time, right place" involved in his success last year. Add in another injury to come back from...

If I'm wrong?... Wonderful!

I think the bigger concern is

I think the bigger concern is that Rudock made a bunch of bad throws/decisions that weren't INTs... Or in addition to the INTs.

I thought he was supposed to be the guy who takes care of the ball and doesn't lose games? If he's not, than why not try the "dangerous" guy with the big arm and mobility?... Unless of course it was never even close and Shane was never really in it?

But I'm just thinking/drinking aloud... I do trust Harbaugh (even more so on this than in general). If Rudock is still the guy I'm sure it's the right decision.

I thought Smith was given the

I thought Smith was given the tougher job and asked to go against a stout run D focused heavily on just that.

Isaac was given better chances to get some space due to the situations and play calling when he was up. He did what he was asked and I thought he looked pretty good.

Smith missed a couple holes but I was impressed with how hard he was to bring down. I think he'll have a big year.

I think they'll both play similar roles going forward as they did tonight.

You can't be everywhere, all

You can't be everywhere, all of the time, without some occasional over pursuit and failures to make a play. Not to mention maybe being a little too amped up under the circumstances.

"Let's see it in a game first" has been my feeling on the Pepper's hype (though I was optimistic with the overwhelming amount of it). I'm now 100% sold. The kid looks amazing.

Looks like Fox Sports Detroit

Looks like Fox Sports Detroit (663 on DirecTv) will be showing them Mondays at 5:00 eastern.

This is worse than covering

This is worse than covering competitive eating, video games or poker. At least those involve actual competition. WWE is a soap opera.

No question

Football.

It's amusing how much

It's amusing how much different the tone of this thread is than the one from a couple weeks ago. I'll stick with Shane...

I am not stunned.

I am not stunned.

Most overrated feature ever.

Most overrated feature ever. If anything is tempting me to get and Xbox it's that Elite controller... And confirmed Fallout 4 mods (though they're probably coming to PS4).

Shane Morris.
I think he gets

Shane Morris.

I think he gets an opportunity to play this season even if he's not the starter on day one. I think he'll make waves when he does.

I don't know... Reading the

I don't know...

Reading the HTTV position previews thought we might run the table... Then in the back they all predict 7-5!

Honestly, I'll be somewhat disapointed with fewer than 9 wins (with bowl) including an upset against OSU or MSU.

Sky's the limit on the upside. I think we have a ton of untapped talent that's ripe for a breakout. I don't think it's crazy to think Harbaugh could "shock everyone".

I voted Shane. I actually

I voted Shane. I actually think Rudock is the safer bet... But I refuse to be associated with those writing Shane off and denying that he's got a good shot at it.

Yes, 68 is way too many IMO.

Yes, 68 is way too many IMO. I think 8 would be the sweet spot for football.

Noon games are awful! I cant imagine living on the west coast with 9am football on a Saturday... But it may be better than needing to set aside a 3 hour chunk of time right in the middle of the day.

You may want to take another

You may want to take another look at my post and think about the context.

Isn't that just up the

Isn't that just up the highway from the Ass-Umption Junction?

Did something happen to

Did something happen to Isaac? I know I didn't notice him in the spring.

If we can't get someone to step up between Isaac, Green and Smith? I'll be surprised. Also, between Morris (big arm and mobile) and Rudock (experienced "game manager") both under Harbaughs tutelage... I'm not too worried about QB either.

Yeah, this was forshadowed

Yeah, this was forshadowed for a long time... Even before this season. The idea that they pulled this out of their ass just because they wanted to do "the worst thing possible" is ridiculous. If that was ther goal they've been building to it for some time.

Never understood the "didn't need to actually show it" criticism either. The brutally that feels so personal is a core part of the show. If you can't handle it? Maybe find another show?

People upset that it's not the books (I'm a fan myself)? Get over it already. Nobody cares.

Something tells me the

Something tells me the writing was all over the walls by this point?

I'm sorry. Have an upvote!

The fact that the show can

The fact that the show can have the effect on me that it does is why I love it... Even when I hate it. Not much fiction that can move me. It's not like it was cheap "shock value" either...  I suspected it was coming all week (hinted at for a long time really) and it made complete sense in the context of the story.

I'm actually rooting for

I'm actually rooting for Stanis to get the Reek treatment and skinned now. This episode fucked me up worse than any other. Having a daughter around that age probably didn't help... And I had just been saying how I was starting to like Stanis this season. Now he's the first name on my bedtime list.

I feel detached in third

I feel detached in third person, like I'm controlling a puppet. Where I feel like first person actually puts me in the shoes of the character and is far more immersive for me. I'm also not a fan of the camera and sightline issues third person creates (mostly talking shooters now). I prefer first person for just about everything... Shooting, flying, driving, fighting.

That said...

I wish I could get into that type of play. Those games look amazing and I really enjoyed them both... For about an hour.

I agree with most of your

I agree with most of your post. I do think it's worth pointing out that even though the PS4/One aren't as cutting edge as some past consoles were at launch, they're still far more powerful than their predecessors. The 360 was 8 years old and the PS3 was 7 y/o when the PS4/One launched. I'm not sure if I agree with the ".5" comment with that in mind... Relative to say, the original Xbox to the 360 only being 4 years apart and the PS2 to PS3 being 6 years apart even with the PS2 being a sales monster... The leap from last gen to this one is still large.

Well, I'm 10+ years married

Well, I'm 10+ years married with two kids... So I'm not.

Good for you though.

PS4 is $399 and Xbox One is

PS4 is $399 and Xbox One is $350 (if I'm not mistaken) and I'm pretty sure you can find games bundled in at that price with either. Amazon had the PS4 with a choice of several games at $399 recently.

If you're not already tied to

If you're not already tied to the Xbox (all your friends on Xbox, must have Halo, etc)? The PS4 all the way IMO. I was on Xbox the last two gens and made the switch back to Sony this gen (along with most of my friends). Hardware is better (how much so is hotly debated and I won't get into it) and it's selling at a record pace (typically means it'll get catered to more by 3rd parties).

Well, it is rated M.

Well, it is rated M.

I'm sure it adds to the

I'm sure it adds to the experience. But not "needed", no.

FWIW the Bethesda store has

FWIW the Bethesda store has an estimated ship date of "tba 2015".

... Trying to contain the optimism... Trying...

I was a fan of Skyrim but

I was a fan of Skyrim but couldn't get into The Witcher. But that's mostly because I much prefer first person and don't like the third person combo/parry combat systems like you see in The Witcher, Batman, Shadow Of Mordor, etc. If you liked Skyrim and enjoy that type of third person gameplay?... I'd say The Witcher is a no-brainer.

Probably (and PC)... And for

Probably (and PC)... And for the better. If they make it for last gen I hope they're completely separate projects (/different games). The last thing I want is it being weighed down by last gen like Destiny was.

I agree 99+%  of the time.

I agree 99+%  of the time. This is that less than 1%.

I'll pre-order and be at the midnight launch. Fallout 3 is probably my all time favorite game (definitely top 3) and I've been eagerly anticipating this announcement for years!

I had a dream last night that

I had a dream last night that the "Zombie-Mountain" was fighting Jorah Mormont in front of the queen (the real one)... Not that it would make any sense.
