Good Point!

Some kids just swell up faster than others. Their diet has changed too. The program is feeding them more high protein foods.

Elam

Elam wasn't a little dude to begin with but Damn!  It would be interesting to see the gains that some of our guys have made since being in a college weight program.

He still

should redshirt. We have 2 capable QBs with a year under their belts. Letting him play in serious game time puts us back at that "freshman qb" status again. Losing Dorsey was a huge blow. That kid would have been on the field this fall without a doubt. That one really makes me sick.

It's cool

you disagree. Let's just say that whole first series didn't look good for the sake of this argument.

It's not

about him getting the crowd involved but lets make some things happen first. Lets move the ball and then make some noise.

I'll be

honest, the thing that really pissed me off was the osu game. He comes out, pumping the crowd up, doing a little clowning and before you know it..............Touch down osu. Not to mention the 50 picks he threw that game.

Heard that

was common with him too. Not from a close source. Just people talking Michigan Football.

Funny you

say that. One of my friends works with the student-athletes. I was there talking to him during the spring game and his exact words were, "Tate is an asshole." He said it twice to make sure I got it. He also said that he's getting into a lot of trouble. Nothing major, but little bullshit knuckle head type stuff. Just telling you what I heard about him from a source that works closely to everyone.

Glenville Glenville is a public school. The kids that play for Glenville don't actually go to Glenville. They go to Ted Ginn Academy (thats the real name)which is a seperate building. The Academy is magnet. The school is just under the same umbrella as Glenville. There's only about 300 kids there.
The Kid has proven to be True Blue. He recruited hard as if he was a coach, left Florida to move to AA. This kid is serious. I look forward to seeing him on the field.
If you check out the commitment list for the schools I named. Texas is not even offering kids who are going to Baylor, LSU, Mizzou(maybe 1 or 2). Those schools, including Texas Tech are fighting each other. Texas is on a different level. They are battling USC, Florida and ND for kids. They are just taking the VERY best from Texas and getting them. The size of Texas and the importance of football makes it easy to still get quality kids for the other programs.
Look Man! A&M is just NOW challenging them. Texas gets who they want. I'm sure Mack Brown isn't too worried about Baylor.
That was my point exactly on their recruiting. They only had 2 out of state players on their roster this year. That's Crazy!
Recruiting for Texas in state is easy. They don't have any real comp. The kids that go to Texas A&M and Baylor never get offered from Texas. Oklahoma is the only real comp for them. Not to mention Texas is so damn big so the talent pool is huge.
I like this kid alot His highlight tape is the 2nd most impressive I've seen this year (first was Tony Drake). Fast as hell and hits like a truck. I could even see him moving to RB if he had to.
Damn you I was just about to post that info.
You think Woolfolk moves back to safety? I Don't like the idea of having two Freshman CB. God! I hope we get Dorsey. I think he is going to be a problem for teams passing game. "No Fly Zone!"
Calm down. This a matter of labels. In a traditional D. Kovacs would be the SS. Thats all I'm saying. Now go sit down and pour yourself a drink and chill out.
No he didn't Check the game notes from the year. Think about it. He got all that playing time because he is good in run support. That's why he was in on so many tackles. If he was at FS making that many tackles, that means our D was way worse than I could ever imagine.
Yeah! pretty much. They were tired of him taking visits and not being solid. FL doesn't care. The way their recruit year has been going they could get Jesus to play free safety for them. I wonder what Meyer would say to pull that off?
Williams played? I watched every game and I seriously can't remember him making one play. Can you?
I just checked Kovacs was the SS. I knew he played up too close to the line. I knew that didn't sound right.
That would explain why Kovacs played so close to the line all the time and our deep coverage was beyond awful.
I would think that M. Robinson would be better suited for SS with his build and tackling ability. If they were actually talking about moving him to OLB, SS is the place for him. I don't know what's going on with Vlad. Does anyone know?
This guy is an elite level FS. He will make teams scared to throw deep because of his great make up speed. As bad as our D secondary was, I would like to have both. He would play CB and some offense also. Come on Dorsey, that's an offer you can't refuse.
2 years sounds about right. Maybe more. You've seen what this team looks like without Manny. His ability to get to the hole saves this team. He's the only one who can do it. The other guys around him and Sims just aren't good enough. When the jump shots aren't falling the team is bad. No one else has shown the ability to put the ball on the floor, create or get to the basket.
Thats a Good sign. I think they both stay. Having both kids at the same school will make their parents life easier.
Damn! muscles make you tan too? I get your point, but Tate's style of play may cause him to take some good shots. For the season's sake I hope he stays healthy.
Less prone? I don't know about that. What I'm saying is he has shown to be injury prone. I know he'll be ready to go with all the rehab time. I just want everyone at that QB spot to be prepared.
I know he's been throwing which is good, but what happens when he takes a hit on that shoulder or lands on it? You have to be prepared for the worse. That's why RR always talks about having depth.
Denard is going to play much more this year. You can bet on that. He is the most dangerous weapon we have. And him staying at QB is where he can do the most damage.
That seems logical, but what about Tate's Shoulder? His health will play a big role this year. It was obvious he was hurt way worse than he or RR let on.
Yeah! I did. I was trying to think of what he said when UT first hired him. Whatever that song was when he mentioned they would sing when they beat Florida every year.
Thanks for the advise. I'll try that.
Mine started with talking bad about Beilein and his lack luster recruits.
That's funny because I was looking for someone with negative points like me. Thanks! LOL
Damn! He would have been a great pick up, even though I figured he was a longshot.
People on here ripped me for suggesting that someone may do him in. Lets see what happens now.
Damn! I'm at -145 now?
What do think would have happened if he would have stuck around UT to clean out his office? Those Rocky Mountain hicks would have been ready to roll. Lighten up fellas!
That guy is out of control. Someone is going to make an attempt on his life.
Kelvin coming back to the program can only help. Yeah, it will take some playing time from Morris, but that may help him in the long run. Grady will be useful in the open floor, but Beilein has to let them get out and run.
Well I wouldn't be surprised if the Talbots Decommit now. Terry may feel it's getting a little crowded. I'll take that trade off though. I still have hope for D.Dorsey. And Jake Ryan is a player. That was a great get for RR
It's clear that your just a kid who doesn't know much about the game of Bball. Most players make the big jump between fresh and soph year, like Sims did. And yes I have seen Brundidge and Hardaway play. Brundidge has some street in his game and I like him as High School player. Hardaway, not so much. Watched him in a AAU tourney I had a couple of my old kids playing in. Typical Beilein recruit, can shoot the rock put can't put it on the floor and create.
The Negs really hurt my feelings, please stop. But the facts are facts and his record is speaking for it's self. Look across the country and look at all the freshman doing big things. What have his freshman done? Basketball is not like football. Two classes are enough to show some progressive improvement.
Ok! Hardaway was also offered by Minn. That's it. For all the praise Smotryz gets his only offers are Northwestern and Oregon State. Michigan was Brundidge's only offer. Don't get me wrong. I hope that these guys really pan out, but as of right now, I'm not impressed.
That's how some people do on here. You ask a legit question and they get offended. My point is Beilein hasn't brought real talent in. Stu can shoot, but that's about it. Novak plays hard and I love his game, but that's about it. You will never see D. Morris real game because his system won't let him get out in the open floor and get loose. Morris has street in his game but you'll never see it.
That's funny Besides Michigan who else wanted them? My point is we didn't have to beat anyone for these guys. Just look at what he has brought in, and then call yourself an ass because you know don't know much about the guys coming in.
Yeah! the fact that he sucked as a coach. Come on son!
Who cares! He's gone and that's what matters.
