Moeller wasn't fired. He resigned. Bo begged him not to, but he did anyway.
|19 hours 31 min ago||Missouri||
Missouri has done pretty well under Pinkel. He'd be my choice if he wasn't 62 years old.
|3 days 15 hours ago||It's not funny||
It's not funny. I had a boss get killed in a traffic accident exactly like that.
|3 days 16 hours ago||Doesn't||
Doesn't he have eligibility left?
|3 days 16 hours ago||Because||
Because in college you can skip the hassle of having to deal with bitchy millionaire players.
|3 days 17 hours ago||Not||
Not when you're mixing.
|1 week 16 hours ago||He wasn't||
He wasn't going to win 8 games with that defense.
|1 week 16 hours ago||Isn't this||
Isn't this the offense that scored 26 points against UTSA and almost lost 26-23? The same UTSA team that just got blown out 43-13 by Okie State?
|2 weeks 1 day ago||I was||
I was at that game. And yes it was typical Michigan. We, historically, never cover the spread.
|5 weeks 2 days ago||We did not||
We did not under perform in 2012. We lost to 5 teams ranked in the Top 8, including the 2 teams playing for the championship. We lost our most valuable player and 3 year starting QB. And we lost our best corner before the bowl game to a suspension. We were overmatched once that season, by the eventual national champion, in our first game of the season.
|5 weeks 3 days ago||This was||
This was the offense that they wanted to run all year but couldn't because of a multitude of injuries. Prior to the season they had Tom Moore come in and help them draw up this attack. Tom Moore was the OC for the Colts and the man who taught Peyton Manning quite a bit about offense.
|5 weeks 6 days ago||I guess||
I guess I don't understand everyone thinking that Al was with Brady for a long time. He was with him for 2 years at SDSU and at Michigan for 3. Not exactly a long term relationship.
|6 weeks 20 hours ago||Publicity||
Publicity. Whether you like it or not we're going to get a ton of publicity on an opening game that normally would get nothing. We're going to be on ESPN2 instead of BTN. Yeah it was a black eye for the program, an open wound even, but maybe we can start the healing process.
Besides, IMO, the worst loss was to Toledo, a team that was so bad they fired their coach at the end of the season. App State would have beaten that Rocket team by 30.
As an aside App State won their third championship in a row that year by beating another team with winged helmets in the championship game. Yep, Delaware, and they had a pretty good qb named Flacco.
|6 weeks 5 days ago||How do you know that||
How do you know that? No one has seen this offense in a game.
|6 weeks 5 days ago||I graduated||
I graduated from HS in '69. Class Motto: "69 is fine".
|6 weeks 6 days ago||He was||
He was put in that position because JT Floyd got suspended.

Pom Poms worked in '97 against Ohio State.

So does that mean you're partly conflicted about the 30th?
|9 weeks 15 hours ago||And yet||
And yet we're 1-1 in that time.
|10 weeks 20 hours ago||That's ok||
That's ok. From my vantage point you qualify as a youth. Of course, that applies to 90% of the people on this board.

11 years from now my granddaughter will be 30.
|11 weeks 14 hours ago||Put me||
Put me at the top of the list. I'd be 74 & 75. And I already don't feel so good!
|11 weeks 14 hours ago||Not even||
Not even Herm was Herm. If I make it I'll be in my middle 70's. You know what, fuck Herm!
|11 weeks 16 hours ago||It's been||
It's been 10 years or more, but we went on my father-in-law's 34' Wellcraft from the Bay down the Detroit river and into Lake St. Clair. We left about 11:00 in the morning and reached our destination at a marina about midway up the lake sometime between 5 & 6. My father-in-law cruised in the low 20's. If I recall there were a lot of no-wake zones in the Detroit river.

Pierce Lake is one of my favorite golf courses. Used to go there a couple times a year when I lived in Lambertville.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||Yeah||
Yeah, and the rain running like waterfalls down the steps of the stadium.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||But||
But Marlin Jackson played safety very well for us. He also played safety in the NFL.

|12 weeks 4 days ago||Dhani Jones||
Dhani Jones was a LB'er not a DL.
|12 weeks 4 days ago||Never forget||
Never forget who was responsible for that defense. The same guy who oversaw the worst defenses in Michigan memory. At least in my memory and I started watching Michigan in the late 1960's.
