Nobody on that team thinks that they are the fastest crew in the country. The fact that they are able to consistently be ranked in the top 12-20 schools (regardless of varsity status) with the few resources they have is impressive. Congrats to the rowing team, and go blue!
is that many of these "student-athletes" in revenue sports are not actually getting an education. They wind up just trying to stay eligible to play, and end up with a worthless degree. Sure there are exceptions to this, but there's no incentive on the university's part to actually educate them. IMO, football and men's basketball shouldn't be considered to be the same things as non revenue/Olympic sports.
They've got the athletes to be able to check him full court, but you obviously have no idea how different you have to play when you've recently sprained an ankle. Everything you do is slower and less explosive. As for stepping on the court and playing, you've obviously never sat out with an injury. He probably just tried to gut it out a few games so he didn't miss any time.
to talk with coach Beilein last winter about the new facilities. We were talking about the new athletic training room, and he started talking about when he was growing up in Buffalo, NY they would just tell you to put your foot in a snow bank.
The whole idea of the read-option is to create a numbers advantage by "optioning off" 1 defender. The goal is to be 11 vs. 10 in favor of the offense. This could be an end or a LB, depending on how the O-line chooses to block it.
to use is Miss. St. Lots of good read plays, and a few more formations with a TE/ H-Back in the backfield. GT's playbook is a lot of fun to run with online against people. If you run any option based playbook well it gives the other guy fits, haha.
Spread n Shred slanted more towards the run and blindingly fast no huddle. I use a variation of Oregon's offense on NCAA 12, and can usually put up a ton of points against my opponents. In real life I think it works pretty well too though...
But ideally, you'd have a guy more like Devin at QB, and maybe have Denard at one of the WB positions. Only because the QB probably takes more hits in that offense than anyone else or even the one we currently run. Man, when that offense is humming though, it's tough to stop.
the guy feels like he wasn't drafted high enough and is on a mission to prove all of the teams that could have drafted him wrong. I would just say he's an extremely motivated competitor, and more players should play the game like him. The guy just wants to win.
Short story on his journey to osu. His dad was his HS coach and his older brothers both played d1 ball. He attended a lot of osu camps since his bro played there.
He coached at Florida, which means he knows what a truly dangerous spread offense looks like, and practiced against it every day. No need to worry about what style offense we face, because he's seen all of them.
but I've been impressed with the way this class has shaped up. I'll admit I was a little worried with what would happen because of the cc, but Hoke & company did a great job. Looking forward to the spring game and next fall. GO BLUE
was probably out of fear of injury. You don't necessarily want your best reciever getting hit when your defense is giving up so many points. Also Odoms was injured for half the season,
He said that they would be adapting the offense to the players we have, and mainly Denard. One thing I will say, is that so far, I've been impressed by the commitment to the program displayed by our players. We have a lot of talent coming back, and I'm excited for the future of this team.

EDIT: I was going to mention what the 4 or 5 people ahead of me said. Oh well. No need for VMart to rush back.
You used the words classy and Columbus in the same sentence. UNBELIEVABLE.

This isn't a sparty bashing thread... Oh, you were talking about Alabama...
Working to add
always has a few good looklin brunettes with him. Gibbons has RVB. So smooth.
DESTINY!!
nobody's gonna get him this year
I tried searching the board for other posts, but it's kinda hard sometimes to make sure you've looked everywhere.
Does the team with the best record in the conference win the division? Or is it best record within the division?

as they only show brief clips of players warming up. Doesn't look like much else though.
But it's provacative. It gets the people goin!!
The team that plays outdoors has a higher ceiling than the one in the dome. Seems obvious to me...
...to the big CMU game next week. Gotta watch out for those sneaky chips, they've beaten us before.
but seriously, what a great day for Michigan sports.

about the T in the 2nd one just doesn't look right. Definitely one of the forced 12 designs.

Anyone else see the SportsDome?
I can't believe I forgot Bielema. That guy's a total DOUCHE.
Seriously though, I think Mack Brown should be right up there on the list for likeable coaches.
Nick Saban, Lane Kiffin, Les Miles, Pete Carrol, Mike Leach, and possibly a few I forgot.

was the best PR we had all year, unless you include Juinor in the bowl game.
but when I do, I drink water. Gotta stay hydrated.
and he's a great guy. He's also pretty good at music...
EDIT: Yessman, you beat me to the vid

the most interesting man in the world.
the part where he said that the kid could do things with 2 balls that most people could only dream of with 1 ball?
because it might be the only kind of article that most of their fan base would understand.

The Hokey pokey.
It's hard not to smile when you see him smile, and I enjoy having genuine, good players on all of our sports teams.
that, and I already have a broken jaw. I'm takin it easy for a while.
COLLEGE NO PARENTS!!!!!! However, I will not be drinking tonight due to being on antibiotics. It's like that new captain commercial i guess.
