Sort of a mix between 1 and 6. I hope they lose every game but if they turn out to be good it doesn’t really bother me unless it’s at the expense of the Lions in the Super Bowl in which case it would bother me a lot.
I won’t root for them. I only root for the Lions. I appreciate what Jim did and don’t begrudge him the right to try this out, but he’s just another coach to me in the NFL. I do think the chargers have a better chance to win the Super Bowl than they did two days ago, but ultimately I don’t think they will.
I think that’s almost certainly it. Even 5 or so years ago I feel like the Thursday matchups were way better. The NFL is okay for me, but I wish they didn’t feel the need to get their grubby hands all over what was traditionally a college day.
Unless you know something I don’t, you better sign up for peacock too. That said, I do have YouTube tv and really enjoy it as a service that allows me to watch many sports so I recommend it.
Calling them the ladies’ teams instead of women’s teams is one of my internet pet peeves. I could accept it if we also called the men’s team guy’s gymnastics.
Thank goodness. I assume he will get poached at some point since MLB teams seem more willing to raid the college ranks these days and I doubt Michigan can match that salary, but hopefully he’ll stick around for a while longer.
I would echo some of the existing comments on Dubai here and say that it is cool, although maybe not worth making a special trip for. If you are flying Emirates and can do a layover of a couple days I would recommend it, but otherwise I would probably spend more time in SA (never been, but it seems cooler). Dubai to me is a lot like Vegas in that you don't really need more than a few days there. I didn't have enough time to do one of the desert tours myself, but people I know that have been for longer like them. Going to the Burj is worth it, although I would go to the observation deck on the 125th floor rather than the one in the 140s as it is cheaper and you're still up pretty high. Boozy brunch at the palm tree island is cool to say you did it. Overall it's just a lot of things that are fun to say you did them. I probably wouldn't go back unless I was flying Emirates somewhere far and wanted to break the trip up.
The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle - good if you like mysteries (which it appears you do). Don't read the blurb on the back of the jacket or really anything about it at all as I think it sort of spoils what isn't really a twist but is a novel setup to discover as you read.
I love Derek Mason. I think he has a bright future and if Brian Kelly did want to fight him he would kick purple guy's butt all the way back to south bend.
Yeah, I love Detroiters but I wonder what people who aren't from Detroit think of it. There's just so much inside stuff that you'd only get if you grew up in metro Detroit. I guess people must like it a bit though if its on its second season. Hope it gets a third.
I have only been once with a friend that went to ND so he took care of most things but I felt like finding a hotel was a bit of a challenge. Others can probably offer better advice than I can on the best place to look. Bar-wise I liked the Linebacker Lounge it's a dirty college bar type place but I remember there was a nice patio and really cheap beers. The campus itself is very nice and I found the opposing fans to be very friendly. Hopefully you see a Michigan win unlike what I saw in the game I went to (Denard threw five picks and we lost 13-6 *monkeycoveringeyes.emoji*).
I figured it out in case anyone needs help. This is probably way more steps then needed, but I sent it to Google Drive and then sent it to Kindle but didn't convert it to Kindle format (I left it as a PDF). Anyway it works now so there's your update on whether I can read HTTV.
Very thankful for this team and proud of them no matter what happens tonight. I’ve been in your situation and it’s not easy. I hope you dad gets better and I hope Michigan brings him (and all of us) more joy tonight. Go Blue!
Just go on all the rides and have a good time. Go on the ride inside the big ball. Then go on the Star Wars ride. Those are the two rides at Disney World so make sure to enjoy them.
LCA is a great arena. Fun to see if you haven't been. Bummer that it's the same night as the sweet 16, but if the Wings game is a stinker (and who are we kidding, it will be) then there's at least lots of places around to watch the Michigan game (which will hopefully be worth watching).
I would say that Barclays is nicer than the garden and Brooklyn is more fun than manhattan. Would much rather have the tourney there but not mad that it's going back to Chicago/Indy as those make more sense.
I can only speak for myself but I got my last job through applying on LinkedIn by just attaching my resume and shooting it off to the employer. I think as far as searching for open positions go it’s one of the best places.
My guess would be that it's something Podcast One (or whatever the network is called that hosts the podcast) directed them to do. I have never listened to Bill Burr's podcast (although I think he is generally pretty funny), but I agree that most ad readings on podcasts are pretty bad.

This got a good chuckle out of me so thank you for that.
I’m a dyed in the wool pendant so I can’t help myself from pointing out that they are just the Wolverines, not the lady Wolverines.

Actually it’s just Wolverines, same as the men’s teams.

I’m not sure how a game 11 months from now will go.
I am sure that I would not spend thousands of dollars on bringing a big group to AA for the game.
I don’t have sports bar suggestions, but I do recommend Lom Wong for dinner/cocktails.

Yeah, the DENNIS System.
Same here. I’ll catch Barbie on streaming but three hours or Nolan is too much for me at this point.
Anyone got a streaming link? Last season I used o hockey.tv but no luck with them today.
Todd needs to hurry up and tell us when Elder Scrolls VI is going to release.

Go Blue! Would be nice to get a sweep this weekend build some momentum.
Star Wars

THE CAT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO TALK IN THIS MEME!
How do so many people get this wrong?
I would rather they show more hockey or more of anything else honestly but this is cool for people who like wrestling so that's good.
This post was a nice read as a break from my work day. I like it! Thanks for posting.

I wish I could forget.
No.

I just hit F5 for fun, so it looks like yes, we have reached F5 season.
I am not going but I hope you have a good time!

I backed and am…
Hi Seth,
I backed and am having trouble figuring out how to get HTTV on my Kindle. Is there a specific link for it? I didn't see it on the kickstarter site.
Thanks
I'm going to go ahead and just say fuck off as well since the first guy said it and you can't have one without the other.

I have nothing to add here except that I like how your dog is wearing a scarf.
