It's hard to see everything watching live, but he was WIDE open. That was a touchdown but was the opposite side as Baldwin and Cade never came off him.
Last game i attended was in Madison 2019. They weren't winning that no matter what but it was so frustrating watching Nico hand waving open behind the defense several times and Shea never unleashing.
We sell farm fresh eggs. We only have a few customers so we usually put them outside with their name on the package. So this morning a guy is coming by to pick up a large order of duck eggs so it was going to take a minute to get them ready. The doorbell rings and I open the main house door planning to give him the hold on a minute sign through the storm door.
He had already opened my storm door and is standing on my threshold and as soon as I open the door he steps right into my house. WTF man?
1) Opposing OCs know what is coming so they throw a lot of quick hitters. Not enough time to get obviously held on quick slants
2) When there is a longer developing pass play more often than not we hit the QB or sack. Refs are probably less likely to call a hold if you get to the QB anyway?
Started lurking during the RichRod search. Handlejacking was hilarious. I enjoyed the WLA guys until they went full communist and stopped just being funny.
Both of my daughters left home for school and were back after a semester. They also have (much) younger brothers at home and I think that was the hardest part for them. My older son headed to Madison and is loving the freedom. Each is different and they will find their best path eventually.
Now one daughter is at grad school in Iowa and the other is on a grad school visit 1000 miles away at Alabama today. #humbelbrag?
The one visiting Alabama is killing me. She is raised in Wisconsin but I taught her right and she roots for the Maize and Blue. I'm not afraid she will turn to the dark side, but she is my sports buddy and having her leave will be harder on dad than anyone else.
Ready to take 2nd team snaps? Ready to play if a helmet comes off? Ready to finish a game if the starter is injured? Ready to play at home against a RIVAL? Ready to start? Ready to start on the road against a top 10 team?
I can't not watch. Even though I mostly have to DVR I still watch til the end. Maybe I fast-forward a bit. But I could never just not watch when I know a Michigan football game is on.
What is the answer? Wife wants a new mattress and she will overspend 100% based solely on marketing. And I HATE having to talk to a salesman in what I know is a huge markup industry. So which one is the best?
Those ones where we can each have our own adjustable side seem very intriguing, but what about when you want to "meet in the middle"?
And thanks Brian for all the mattress banner ads now.
Losing while growing is something that can be understood. But is there growth or hope for the future at the QB spot? Or anywhere on the O-Line except maybe Onwenu? Or hope that the passing co-ordinator realizes that the young WRs and QB can't run/decipher complex routes and maybe a simple slant or two would help?
Is this the start of a 3 year plan? Because that is what it looks like right now. And that seems kinda crummy when they are already in year 3. And after seeing the coaches get owned on both sides of the ball next year does not seem very full of hope either.
And he did not say it was because Drevno was doing a bang-up job. He said it is because Drevno and Harbaugh have been together forever and Drevno is a good guy.
"I expect him back. They are very close friends... He's here to stay. You can mark my words on it."
But where is his place on the staff? Does he stay as an OC? Guess that means Frey stays to coach OL? Do they continue to split the OL? Do we continue to have a Power vs Zone disconnect between our OL coaches?
will I get to see Bradley turn around and make a back pass for no fucking reason.
Besides Pulisic I don't think we'll see any of these players in 2022. Maybe Yedlin and Brooks if they stay can stay healthy for an extend time?
But I read this blog a lot and I think I have things figured out from what I have read this week:
The offense sucks because the RBs have no vision, can't pick up a blitz, fumble and don't drive through tackles
and
The offense sucks because our QBs can't process fast enough, throw too high with bad footwork, always take too long waiting for the slow developing routes and refuse to throw the easy checkdown?
and
The offense sucks because freshman wide receivers can't run good routes, don't block well and have stone hands?
and
The offense sucks because the O-Line is young, does not communicate well or pick up blitzes, and lacks athleticism on the outsides?
and
The offense sucks because the playbook is too big and confusing, the coaches don't trust the players, the play calls are predictable and the three-headed OC monster is not getting it done?
Saturday was the 21st time in O’Korn’s career that he has thrown at least 10 passes in a game and it was the tenth time he failed to complete at least half of his pass attempts.
Rain or shine, this is who O’Korn is. If you’re a quarterback coach, he has enough ability to intrigue you, and enough inconsistency to get you fired.
always wear the same polo to work on game week Fridays. Lost a few pounds recently and thought it didn't look right so I switched to a block M tee and maize (omg Adidas!) pullover. I'm so ashamed.
Some yelling and screaming without flailing? I don't watch every single CFB game but I have not seen 1 penalty all year on a coach for going ballistic on the sidelines. Is this rule just a myth? He just seems... resigned? More sad than mad?
If you win the coin toss, the correct answer is always to defer until the second half. There's pretty much no difference between opening the first or second half with the ball, but if you defer, there's a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny chance that the opponent will be so massively stupid that they will choose to kick off, forgetting that you will certainly choose to receive in the second half, thus giving you the ball twice.

Haven't checked since but I definitely regret taking the over. Seemed like easy money with Pickett vs MSU pass D
Did my championship betting back in August.
Go Blue! Beat Iowa!

Looks like a cross maybe. Our male English Mastiff lost some weight this year. Now down to a trim 220.
I think it could be a combination of 2 things:
1) Opposing OCs know what is coming so they throw a lot of quick hitters. Not enough time to get obviously held on quick slants
2) When there is a longer developing pass play more often than not we hit the QB or sack. Refs are probably less likely to call a hold if you get to the QB anyway?
RichRod search was it for me too. And I can tell you that now that I just reset my password AGAIN. Makes me long for HaloScan.
1) What was wrong wrong the term "ENT" and why did they decide to fancy-ize it so that I can never figure out what floor to go to at the clinic?
2) +1 to you if you spelled that without googling
They have a team full of Ear Nose Throat docs?
I think I just found my summer activity for our fainting goats!
and was sad. Then you pointed out the missed 44, and I was depressed.
But you missed Speight's '3' so it is actually 234,435. Don't think anyone on this board will make it another 600 years.

Or can you just not read a clock?
Agreed

There are varying degrees of readiness.
says you probably also did like me and watched the T&T match on a spanish speaking channel. Sports can be so depressing.
or mail order?
Wait, we're still talking about mattresses, right?

Doesn't really need much more explanation

I should be happy we don't have EMU on the schedule this year?
And they just beat a common opponent in Purdue. Nothing is guaranteed at this point.

We need some fire and brimstone. No turning the other cheek. I can only ssume he would run POWER.

But the Tight Ends are pretty ok, right?
they would probably be screaming loudly on the way down!
but I was pretty amazed at how jacked up everyone appeared to be even during the monsoon
He keeps teaching them to fumble. Bad coaching.
play to his strengths? Maybe some read-option to slow down the D-Line?
I think O'Korn can be the guy, but if the first half at Indiana does not show that then better get Peters some reps before PSU.
There is another QB already hiding on the field on all special teams plays. Maybe he just needs to run the show on offense too?

His blocking scheme did not match what Harbaugh has always wanted to do. Too many varying philosphies and no one thing that works.
Bacause then we can toss McCaffery aside and FINALLY move on to the Malzone era!
With a quarterback who can run it and is instead chucking INTs in a monsoon?
to God's ears. I really hope you are correct, but I just don't know.
is bad
Has there been a penalty for it yet? I have not seen one.
He seems to love what he is doing at Michigan but won't the NFL come calling?

The PF or the offsides that turned a loss of 2 into a gain of 5 and another down?
Trying to avoid channeling my inner Texas.

Texas was that massively stupid.
