...though there were complaints leading up to the game that the efforts to thaw the field weren't completely successful. I imagine that if Michigan had any hope of hosting a game in late December or early January, they would cover the field immediately after the final home game to alleviate the snow removal/thawing issues that Minnesota faced. |

When the Metrodome roof caved in, one of the options explored was playing at Minnesota's TCF Stadium. It was abandoned, at least in part, because the field did not have any heating built in, and thus would be like playing on pavement. Anybody out there know whether Michigan Stadium's field is heated? I'm guessing not. |

Highly, highly recommend The Green Goddess (http://www.greengoddessnola.com/ or @greengoddessFQ on Twitter). Supremely inventive eats and drinks, tucked into an off-the-beaten-path alley. The Googles will reveal to you a special code phrase provided to Neil Gaiman for his followers as well. When I visited, it turned out to be a free appetizer. |

It's a ghillie suit. And no, I don't have any idea why you'd wear one to the game (other than getting your mug on TV/scoreboard, obvs). |
| 1 year 33 weeks ago | Piped-in music volume |
"The volume level of piped-in music is too high." I had to vote "Neutral" on this, because I both agree and disagree. When the stadium is loud, the volume level is fine. In pre-game, when the stadium is quieter, the volume is way too high. |

HH21: Is yours one of a pair? I'm looking to trade two singles for a pair. I have one in section 22, row 23 (awesome seat) and one in section 18, row 65. |

Who is this "Pyror" fella and why should I care? |
| 1 year 42 weeks ago | Flip the single? |
Do you have a pair that you're selling a single of? I have two singles that I'm looking to flip for a pair. See the details in the spreadsheet, you might be able to get a better seat out of it. |

I have two ND singles that I'm looking to trade for a pair. Do you have a pair that you're planning on selling one? Avoid the uncomfortable feeling of having to sit next to the dude you took to the cleaners and probably upgrade your own seat in the process. My seats: Section 22, Row 23: THIS IS YOUR SEAT. It rules. Section 18, Row 65: You'll still rake in mad loot, but now you don't have to see the guy. Contact info is in the ticket spreadsheet. Depending on the seats you have, I'm willing to kick in some $$ to make it happen. |

...he'd be listed as "Moss, Dinero" -- Mo' Money! It's almost a shame he didn't commit to OSU, there'd be a Bond-villain quality to that matchup. |

You should only call him that when he's dug holes in the yard or chewed up a shoe. It's like using a kid's middle name. He'll know he's in trouble if you're calling him Glenn. |

I can't be the only one who read that headline and immediately started thinking up alternate lyrics to the NiN song, can I? |

Well, it was at time of posting. Even Brian RT'ed the ElevenWarriors mention of it. Damn me for not getting a screen capture! |

Currently finishing the bottom of the bottling bucket for my latest homebrew, a vanilla caramel cream ale. SO. GOOD. It's sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. Not an every-day drinker, but it's going to be a nice change-of-pace beer for the next couple of months. For those homebrewers among us, the recipe can be found at: |

Based on the Chart? Chart presented, I'm going to believe that "Yeesh. Aside from one terrible game against Minnesota, Tolzien has been robotically efficient" should be "Yeesh. Aside from one terrible game against Michigan State, Tolzien has been robotically efficient." |

Somebody needs to inform J Leman. http://www.ushistory.org/betsy/flagetiq.html 8. When the flag is displayed in a manner other than by being flown from a staff, it should be displayed flat, whether indoors or out. When displayed either horizontally or vertically against a wall, the union should be uppermost and to the flag's own right, that is, to the observer's left. When displayed in a window it should be displayed in the same way, that is with the union or blue field to the left of the observer in the street. When festoons, rosettes or drapings are desired, bunting of blue, white and red should be used, but never the flag. |

Most of the residential streets west on Stadium have ample free parking on gamedays. Pretty much every game I go to, I park somewhere between Greenview Drive and Westfield Ave. |

Ditto that here. I sit on the second floor, and could feel the movement. No idea what it was until I started reading the news reports. Crazy. |
| 2 years 49 weeks ago | Geosci |
I was in the Geosci program back in the early 90s, and there are definitely some plusses and minuses if you're considering it as a second major. The biggest thing to understand is that there are two distinct degree tracks. The one I ended up with, an "Earth Sciences" degree, differs from the main "Geological Sciences" degree primarily in one requirement -- the Field Camp in Jackson Hole, WY. If you can't commit to spending a summer at Camp Davis, you can't get a GeoSci degree. On the GeoSci concentration page, this is listed as the "Field Experience Requirement." That said, David's comment above is 100% true. The field trips the Geology department takes are legendary, and among the most fun experiences I had on campus. Good luck to you! |

*grin* Thanks! She did an awesome job on it, nobody really wanted to cut into it at the party. I guess if I'd been thinking entrepreneurially, I'd have re-posted that thread six weeks ago, who knows, we could've drummed up some business for graduation. Of course, there's always football season... |

At a guess? Maybe $75, give or take. You could also add a half sheet cake under it as a base if you had a crowd. |

"Storybook Love" by Mark Knopfler, from the Princess Bride soundtrack. Knopfler can't sing worth a damn, but it's still a worthy choice. |

http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/persona/71657 This is the one I use. It's reasonably subtle, I tried the one you linked to above for about 10 minutes before it made my eyeballs bleed, but to each his own tastes. |

Just tuned in to the game this evening and noticed this for the first time. Ugh. Apparently the ads around the boards aren't enough. Makes me want to avoid Belle Tire. |
