I would argue the leash has become nonexistent because 1. They’re bad and I’m cap he’ll for years to come, 2. His contract is up after the season and rumors are already circulating about a move to Vancouver or, more recently, an expansion Seattle team (#1 choice apparently), and 3. This is the first time his contract has ever been allowed to reach its final year without an extension.
My last straw with Holland was when it came out that Mr. I offered Holland a promotion to Team President all in an effort to hold onto Stevie Y, who had been offered by Tampa and was waiting to see how things would shake out in Detroit. Holland refused the promotion because he didn’t want to give up roster control, Stevie Y goes to Tampa, and here we are.
Don't really want to start a new thread, but does anyone know of any good Michigan viewing areas in Nashville? I've heard Edleys in east Nashville, but can't find anything on this site from after 2012. Is that still the place to go? Any advice or direction is much appreciated.
I'd say with beautiful weather we can hit 50k.
I'm making the trip for my first spring game. Any advice on parking? Do places like Pioneer still charge gameday prices?
Seriously, if I knew absolutely nothing about those guys, I would swear Speight is Harbaughs son. He looks and sound so much like him. Hopefully Speight can take that step and be a leader for an extremely young but extremely talented team.
I trust this staff with burned redshirts a lot more than the last. If you win playing time, good on you. Keep it up, Newsome. This also sends a message to recruits as well. A good one of course.
My girlfriend routinely asks me this same question.
I don't know why I let a Michigan game dictate my emotion for the entire day.
I just do. And I'll be in the same seat 14 days from now watching UM take the Jug back, screaming at the TV.
I can't explain the feels. I just feels.
And I feel very punched in the dick right about now. This one stings about as bad as I felt after Bo died, and the game that followed the next day. This one might take the cake.
The fact that Braden has held down the LG spot is worrying. If Jack Miller came back this would be a moot point. And then when the wide open holes were there, Smith blatantly missed them. There was a lot of "suck" to fix from last years team. It wasn't going to be an overnight fix. The more practices and more reps with this staff will mean vast improvement. Bowl practices will help too.
Is no one going to bring up Deveon Smith missing wide open holes? That last one before the pick 6 was the death blow. Even with his lack of speed, that was at least a 20 yard rumble. I expect Ty Isaac and Drake Johnson (once he's fully back) to eat up all of Smiths and Greens carries.
1998 Indiana. I was 8 and honestly barely remember it. First vivid memory has to be Braylonfest. We were in the MSU fan section. I still remember the entire stadium going "oooooohhhhh" when Stanton stayed down holding his shoulder.
I don't think I ever thought Brabbs was a great kicker. But I'll never forget that UW kick. I just remember I kept thinking "There is no way in hell he makes this. No way.....NOOO WAAAAY! WOOOOO!"
This is one of the popular theories out there. I really wish they would have progressed Bran's storyline this season because I love it in the books and want to see where it goes. At the same time I get why they didn't. There are A LOT of moving parts this season in different parts of the realm.
Back to the topic, this episode was easily the best of the season so far. I judge how good an episode is by how many times I say "Oh, shiiit". I said it many times in this one.
RJS was always a guy I rooted for. He was raw, and needed A LOT of college coaching. Hearing some buzz around him finally is great. He could be poised for a solid year in the rotation.

This obsession
This obsession with what Harbaugh & co. are doing is getting out of hand.
Looks like it's Harbaugh against the world. I'll put my money on Harbaugh.

That was a tough read.

This pleases me.

Thank god. I've been worried about their cleat/sock combo since the offseason started.
