Awesome band and a great line up. I've gone down there several times before and maybe I'm turning into an old man but I don't want to camp in 90 degree heat with a bunch of hillies anymore. Now, get off my lawn.

The excuses are flowing freely there. If we beat them at home in a few weeks this senior class of Spartans will have only 2 wins but 6 losses against Michigan.
Because I'm taking a less popular opinion, I feel the need to defend myself before the attacks start: I usually/always walk with the band and cheerleaders from Raveli hall to the stadium and am in my seats typically 35-45 minutes before kick off. Let the onslaught begin...
They need to really think more seriously about the logistics of GA seating. It was terrible, giant cluster f***. For the entire 1st quarter, stragglers coming into the stadium were struggling to find seating. My guess is that there is an empty seat here or there, with 80 some rows across the entire student section, that really add up.
Nice to have everyone there on time, but I feel like the 90% of students who use to show up on time are being punished for the 10% that would come in 5 minutes late. Last time I checked, the students, just like the alumni and general public, paid American dollars for their tickets and should have the same rights to an assigned seat as everyone else.
Although im a grad, I still have the honor of sitting in the student section. Maybe its because general admission sitting works in my favor I havent really given it much thought. If you want good seats, show up early. Ive been doing it for years, but now I will finally get rewarded for it. I thought Bacon's article brought up some good points, mostly about our cupcake out of conference games.
I'm not what we call great with computers, but my girl friend set this up for me on my Mac. Once its set up its really easy to use. I just log onto the computer then open the browser window and I have free glorious television.
Michigan, Penn State, and ohio all in the same conference. That hardly sounds far and balanced.
I still like the idea of ohio being in the other division with them being our pretected cross over game. I dont care if that means playing them twice. I want to play them in the championship game. We use to play them every saturday in November in the unofficial championship game, why change it and ruin a good thing.
I tried to post that video last week in another thread asking someone else to repost it due to my lack of points, but it never got accomplished. Im glad its finally on the boards. Its a great video and like all things Michigan, reminds me how much I love this university.
I graduated 3 years ago, and am in med school in Wayne State, and try to crush it everyday so I can go back to UofM for my residency. I have never had more pride in anything in my entire life than I do with Michigan. Its striving for the best and the becoming the best, but doing it the right way. I love MICHIGAN and I know Michigan changed my life and a lot of yours.
Is that we could have one 3/4 of those loses. The only game that was really out of hand was Alabama. That's why I feel let down is because it's so easy to say "what if".
and its bogus that there are 7-3 teams ranked above us. 2 of our loses are against 2 teams in the top 5 and our 3rd lose against a team in the top 20. I dare say we are better than most 8-2 teams.
I was a cheerleader during the RR era and coach told us and the band before his first game that after every win the team is going run over to the student section and sing the victors the fans. Im not saying this was the first time in the history of michigan football that it happened but RR wanted it to happen after every win.
I miss college so much. Im making up for it next weekend though. Pregame at Pioneer, game, postgame pregame at skeeps, then the real deal at Rick's. Ill also have plenty of Walmart employee applications to hand out to all the spartans on their way back to mediocrity.
Because I for sure thought that title meant the football team got a new banner and they weren't going to use the "go blue m club supports you" this season. Crisis adverted but just to be safe, you all better stay off my lawn.
I'm flying the reverse, Detroit to Houston in a few weeks for a wedding and got 1 stop for near 450. I had been scouting the sites for a while and that was the best price I found. Good luck and I hope your able to find something cheaper
I use to live right next door to Stricklands and buy all of my liquor and beer from them. Glad to hear Eddy and Sam are still holding it down and running the family business.
Just about any Radiohead, Wilco, Arcade Fire, or the National album I tend to listen to from start to finish. Partially, I like to start with Pablo Hunny and go chronically all the way up to the King of Limbs, and then work my way back down. It's like weightlifting, but with radiohead.
I go to med school at Wayne State and can make a lengthy list of people I know whos cars were stolen, broken into, or mugged. Detroit has some nice pockets to it, but those areas are immedately boarded by the desolate waste land where your 1000% guaranteed to have all of your earthly possessions stolen.
Compare that to my 4 years in Ann Arbor. Other than getting into a fight outside of Ricks, I cant think of any trouble I've had in Ann Arbor. I never had a problem with my car or safty. Shoot, I dont even know if the locks on our house worked at East U and Tappan.
Ferndale is great! The rent is cheap. Its nice. It's safe and has a bit of a feel of Ann Arbor to it. Also, its nice not having to battle 696 traffic like my colleagues who live in Royal Oak have to do. I just get on 75 and go. On the flip side, I'm a short 2 miles away from 11 and main in Royal Oak which is also a fun area.
I commute to Oakwood everyday in Dearborn and its not a bad drive from Ferndale. It takes me about 20-25 minutes if its not during rush hour. I also make the drive from Ann Arbor to Dearborn a few times a week, as my girl friend still lives there. Also not a bad drive, maybe 30-35 minutes.

I read that as Derrick Green and almost started to get very smashy and breaky for a saturday morning.
It was awesome and counted as an upper level writting requirement. Easily on the biggest joke classes at U of M. Easy, easy 4.0

just...thank you.
but last I checked, the students still paid American dollars for their tickets, I feel like they deserve the same product.
It will be Michigan again, Michigan.
I have the sneaking suspicion that the one first place vote that ohio got was from Urbz.
I would pay a lot of money to comission that poorly understood genious to make one of those for michigan. Kickstarter anyone?

Manhattan made with rye whiskey instead of burbon.
Im 99% sure that in one of Beilein's first few years here the basketball team all had t-shirts that said "burn the boats" in spanish on the back.
The higher they climb, the harder they fall. I want them to fall...hard
Similar fashion to Montee Ball except that Green is bigger, more physical, and might be faster....did Fred Jackson ghost write this article???

I dont have enough points to start my own thread, but I wanted to share with everyone.
I thought many of us would enjoy the new acceptance video for undergrads.

Eh, seeing ND in that number one spot just makes me sick to my stomach.

Iung cancer has the highest mortality rate but breast cancer has the highest absolute incidence rate in the U.S.
It's always refreshing to have a gem like this to wake up to.
The right choice is always Skeeps. Watch the game at Skeeps then roll on out to Rick's for the after game celebration. 100% guaranteed good time.

Thanks for putting that out for us to read. I thought it was good. Im so excited for football I might explode.

If he goes to a JUCO, can he still play football after going pro/canadian pro?

Two weeks from today. Reviewing renal. Not that hard really, one kidney on the left, another on the right. Bring it on NBME.
Will never let Nash go within the division. But Parise is a true goal scorer and something that I think the wings are missing right now.
Bertuzzi should be on the untouchable list. Hes been very consistent.
If Pete Carroll loved extra practice time while he was at USC or if this is a new habit he just picked up.
someone who can score at any moment. Put someone like Nash or Parise next to Datsyuk and the Zetterberg, that would be amazing.
The same thing I do every day, try to take over the world....I mean study for step 1.
I love how one of the two shots of MSU is of little brother showing their true spartan green and punching Lewan in the face. Classless
I thought Countess should have made 3rd/4th team.
thats the best description of my life. you understand me more than my girlfriend does.
Studying for this exam called NBME Step1. Ive heard its kind of important.
