I mean if he comes to michigan i hope he would be better than warren was. I like warren and think hes a great athlete with untapped potential, and i hope he reaches in in the NFL. With that said, as highly touted as warren was coming out of high school, i expected him to be more productive at michigan. I understand that injuries hampered him, as well as 3 different systems in 3 years. Not to forget less than par players around him, especially within the secondary. I expected (im not going to go as far as saying #2) a marlin jackson/leon hall type producer out of him but, i don't think he made as much impact as those type of players. Maybe my outlook would be different on him if we won more games, or played in more big bowl games. Parker would be a great late christmas gift for big blue. GO BLUE. |

Hasn't it been mentioned that the outside recievers are equally responsible for downfield blocking,especially in this syatem, as they are for making plays in the recieving game? This could be an issue with recruiting outside recievers who want to get into the NFL. Then again, maybe the outside recievers we have had recently just aren't as good at Edwards/Avant/Manningham ect. |

matthews definitely was conservative but looked far more comfortable than anyone last year. WAY OT: I was just watching the Alabama game...did michigan pursue Ingram(flint)?..Maize also looked good for Alabama. |
