I used to want us to be the ones to knock them off their pedistal, not the NCAA. Not anymore. As new revelations roll in almost daily and Smith and Gee refuse to even slightly retract their support for Tressel I now see that the whole institution is crooked.
"The clear message Ohio State is sending by retaining Tressel, despite the lying Ohio State admits he engaged in, is that winning — even if it requires cheating — is preferable to playing by the rules."
Burn 'em to the ground!

I'm a graduate of Hudsonville and a former student of Tom Vruggink so I can attest to the excellence of his program. Tom is high character coach/teacher like Hutch who instills integrity and work ethic in all of his athletes/students, so I am confident that Sara will have a great deal of success in her time at Michigan. Mr. V was my 4th grade teacher and he was never afraid to kick our butts if we slacked off on homework but was just as kind as he was motivating.
Despite the fact that Hudsoville High is rife with obtuse, pickup-truck driving hicks, the softball program has always been a beacon for academic and athletic excellence under Mr. V. I hope to see many more Hudsonville softball players come to Michigan.

A good read, indeed...it's refreshing to see a bucknut who recognizes the implications of Tresselgate. Upon reading the comments, I realized the author was one of the few bucknuts grounded in reality...how the hell could a rational person believe that this could be a positve for recruiting in any way?...oh, right...my bad
