Can't speak for the entirety of the 'snipped' population...but I had it done about 4 years ago.
To date - no buyers remorse (although was sure we were done growing our family for about 2 years before the peocedure) and no decrease in drive (after the first week or so).
The only thing I will contradict, is that my sympathy card ran out after 3 days or so...not two weeks, so hopefully you get the over on that count.
Nice win today. For some reason...wasn't feeling as confident as I normally do, but we were definitely the dominant team. Sweet 16 will be interesting!
USMA alum here...so I appreciate your posting. However, for the sake of accuracy, it was ONLY 14 years. Was bad enough living through it...dont need to tack on a couple of extra years.
Generational...I don't think so. I recall many of the same superlatives being tossed Reggie Bush's way several years ago, and Ricky Williams before that. Certainly solid careers, but didn't turn out to be game changers.
Even as a USMA grad...I have to admit these look pretty good. Then again, slick-looking helmet paint jobs didn't help them last year. GO ARMY - BEAT NAVY! Sing Second (again).
If you've been on here for a bit, you should know the answer. If a kid picks a service academy, the ivy league, Stanford, or Meeeechigan...then he cares about academics and his post football future. Anywhere else, and he only cares about large bags of cash!
May be an option on a very limited number of quick, short passes...but would probably be a disaster for anything that requires the qb survey the field and attempt to push the ball downfield.
For some reason...I'm feeling more confident about this game than I should be. Expecting it to be a close, low scoring affair. Hope we can find a way to manufacture just enough plays to pull it off.
Have to believe that we won't need to dedicate as many bodies as NW to contain Barkley, and our DBs will be able to contest more throws. In all, I think we match up fairly well, this will be another low scoring slugfest of a game
Lived there for 5 years in the mid-late 2000's. Can't speak to what it's like now...but wasn't too bad back then. Met my wife there, great food, etc... Just need to resist the urge to venture across the border to J-Town.
I'd go with the latter. Not sure Les wants jump on board the sinking ship that is Ole Miss..he may wait to see what else is available after the season. Meanwhile, we know Saban has no scruples when it comes to hiring degenerates.

Many Years Ago (more than I care to count) I was an aspiring QB, and attended a camp in IL. Coach was playing for the Bears at the time and was instructing the QB's. Got the chance to play catch with him for awhile...
Was an incredible experience. I told stories for years that the only reason I was able to catch the ball was out of self preservation. Had an amazing arm, and hit you square in the numbers every time.
Anticlimactic. Been a lock there for what seems like forever.
Still a long way to signing day, so it'll be interesting to see what happens. However, if we end up with Mustapha and the kid front NY, I'll be more than happy with TE haul for this class.
In WI and had to work all day, so couldn't watch the game live. But stopped by the bar afterwards and celebrated the only way a reasonable person can in these parts...
Several Spotted Cows and a side of cheese curds!
Go Blue...and keep it rolling on Sunday
Live in Wisconsin these days, and having Spotted Cow available on tap everywhere is one of the few redeeming qualities about my current living situation.
Having made the leap from a C-130 about 25 times many years ago...I can tell you that there really is no such thing as a "perfectly good airplane" in the USAF inventory.
Good to know that coach, while he certainly marches to the beat of his own drum, is pragmatic enough to understand what truly motivates the young men in his charge.
Maybe coach can bring some of the latter over to the practice field for additional motivation. Put them on the other end of the field and see if we can shave a few tenths off of our sprint times. Winners get to sprint back to the other end where another batch awaits.
Last working day of the week for me. Going to relax/celebrate with a few fingers of Johnnie Walker Blue while watching the game and (hopefully) read a new Hello post tonight.
Merry X-Mas everyone
I was wondering the same thing. Even if Grandma was at the tail end of her softball career when she was an Olympian...that would put her in her mid-fifties on the high end. Definitely quite young to have a grand daughter about to embark on her college days. Nevertheless, she appears to come from great stock. Welcome and Go Blue!

And feeling pretty good about next season for three in a row
