As much as I enjoy reading through these (and I mean every single line) after the Michigan defense posts an apocolytpic shut out, I was actually looking forward to this UFR more than any previous.
I pray many blessings upon you for completing this despite the depressing.....nah not gonna say it.
Count me in the boat for PLAY GEDEON MOAR PLEASE.
Big Props to RJS who has my favorite name on the team and played like a boss Saturday.
Cannot wait for Minnesota to grab a win for mouthwash to get this sickly taste of losing out of our teeth.
I'm really hoping to see some youtube videos in which he sprints down the starting chute and instead of the standard "jump in" to the bobsled, he does the old front flip into the sled a la his old highlight videos.
/runs, flips over large human, says "i'm sam mcguffie /flex
Good for him! I actually really like watching bobsled/luge/skeleton during the Olympics.
I don't love in-state talent going anywhere but Ann Arbor but I wish him well.
Funny thing is someday Michigan might meet Notre Dame again in a playoff/nonconference game and Harbaugh in company will get the opportunity to show Mr. Kareem what he's missing out on.
Thanks for posting some good numerical data to support your argument.
I for one have been giving Rudock TOO much credit; believing he's better than he's been playing. Now that we are seven games in...there's too much evidence to suggest he's exactly what you said he is...a mid-level MAC QB.
Don't for a second think that's an attack on Jake either! I've been having a ball this year (with the exception of the last 10 seconds Saturday) but it is what it is. So long as he doesn't turn the ball over, we have to accept that his ceiling is his ceiling and it's not a very high one.
We "should" be able to compete with anyone left on our schedule and win most of if not all of the games remaining with the exception of course being../sigh Ohio State.
Thank you for pointing out some specific adjustments. Those are things that cannot identify having not played football or studied x's and o's outside of what is gloriously provided here.
I'm fully confident in this coaching staff, I hope my post didn't come off "blame the coaches" because that certainly was not my intent.
Takes the 2-0 hitters pitch, you can almost bank on will be a fastball...comes right down the pipe. Then you're sitting 2-1 and you know she can throw the change for a strike, another take...
Perfect time to make a dumb decision... Throwing that ball to 2nd? Did Monty not realize that only one other batter had batted... Meaning on first base was the lead off hitter... General the fastest player on the other team...
Yesterday they went to 1st everytime, the day before as well, grand time for a bonehead play.
Couldn't hit with runners in scoring position. The better team won.
That Florida pitcher, props to her, pro-work not being shaken by the pressure, the early walk, the meat of Michigan's lineup.
Gonna be hard for Michigan without support from their Ace.
I unfortunately call the state of Ohio home. My wife and I were on a spring break trip up highway 1. Every night Michigan played we made certain to hit a bar up the coast, unfortunately she's also a MSU fan so we watched their games as well.
Anyways, we're at a 2 story bar overlooking the coast and I'm the only Michigan clad patron in the building. Fortunately for me the bartender loved that and wouldn't stop bringing shots after Trey out down the dagger.
Thankfully I was in a strange land far far away from where I'm from, for i have never been so emotional and loud during a game in a public place.
Sure i thought it would have been Kentucky, but I never truly believed that Michigan had a chance with him. Outside of McGary, the top 1% recruits have no interest in learning a "system" and having to play ball the way JB does.
Im fine with it, since Michigan will most likely never see the kid, so best of luck to him, wish he had picked Michigan, but if I have learned anything over my 29 year Michigan fanhood it's that Michigan doesn't get breaks, we are the home of the never ending dong punch.
The right move is to stay, put a full season together and prove to scouts that despite being a senior (still young tho) that he can do it all while being checked by other teams' best defender: shoot, pass, rebound, DEFEND.
A deep tournament run certainly seems to help players' draft stock as well :)
If I had to wager a guess however, I'd say he's gone, Manny, Darius, Glenn, etc. all left early, so I'm expecting to have my michigan heart broken again. The trend at Michigan seems to be "Leave" unfortunately for fans.
Whichever Caris chooses, I wish him the best! I don't think we've seen his full potential.
Call me crazy but I am HYPE about this pickup! I'm so sick of seeing other teams pin us inside the 10 and other teams' punters drop balls on the goal line with more back spin than I can generate with my lob wedge and completely own the field position game. This dude is gonna do things at Michigan, things we have never seen!
Can't wait to see some of these fake punts and directional punts for the Maize and Blue! Welcome Blake!!
But I remember just two years ago when WE were in the championship and should have walked out with hardware. If we can't have shiny things, then neither should they,
And that is another perfect example of why offensive rebounding is HUGE and the fact that JB only sends one guy on the offensive glass is a severe handicap.

Steel in our spine.

Those numbers sure are telling...

I'll place my thoughts in the UFR next time.
I'm keeping expectations low as it seems that parades of running backs seem to flock to Columbus.

Thanks again,
Simply put, UFR's are my favorite material.
I am certain they are painstaking to create but they are PURE GOLD to us Michigan Junkies!
Thanks and GO BLUE
Can't cite specific players names, but in the past there sure seems a trend of "thought out" gentlemen returning for the Michigan game.
Oh i know one, the UNLV QB from last week people thought was out...
Team Doc: "wait is this Michigan week?"
Coach: "uh yes, yes it is"
Team Doc: "oh yeah, (player x) is cleared to play, good to go.
/facepalm
I'm excited to see Michigan push around and dominate an opponent.
I really hope we see some vertical passing atttack and Rudock playing turnover free.
Selfishly like to see Drake Johnson get some touches if he's healthy as well.
GO BLUE!
Dude is a thug. I admire his motor, heart, and energy, no doubt! But how those qualities manifest themselves in his game, I can never get behind.
She gets to touch the ball every play and she is clearly the best pitcher in the country.
The better team won today.
Congrats Florida. Atleast they gave us Erin Andrews.
Missed opportunities.
Yesterday they went to 1st everytime, the day before as well, grand time for a bonehead play.
Let's goooooo Bluuuuue!
I suppose that's why she's the POY.
That Florida pitcher, props to her, pro-work not being shaken by the pressure, the early walk, the meat of Michigan's lineup.
Gonna be hard for Michigan without support from their Ace.
It's our BEST vs. well their 2nd best pitcher, but LET'S GO!

Great freaking memory! Thank you Trey.

Sure hope their defense takes a BIG step back without Narduzzi around anymore.
I miss the days of SpartyNooooooo

Well, hope he can take a medical, did he redshirt last year or medical?
I cannot wait to see that trio never on the court for Izzo ever again.
Only to lose and realize that it all meant nothing and no one remembers lol
Can't wait for Trice and Dawson to graduate.
I don't care if they win the BTT, they'll be lucky to win 2 games in the dance!
Hope Trimble and Wells can make a push...but I doubt it.
Watching them get waxed by Wisconsin would be fun :)
Damn Trimble you a boss.
We will be probably 3rd or 4th best in conference.
Wisconsin, Sparty, Ohio, Maryland then probably Michigan
The better more talented team won today.
Oh and go Sparty beat the bucks tonight.
Good luck in the tourney badgers, you won't be going home with any hardware.
