|5 days 13 hours ago||Sincere condolences||
You're doing twice the job the rest of us fathers are. Every child deserves a Mother's love, touch and attention. I hope your children remember all of her love.
|5 days 13 hours ago||I've got your six||
I've got your six. FUCK CANCER!
|5 days 13 hours ago||Tip of the cap to you Sir||
God bless you for what you do. I can handle just about anything except seeing children suffer and loved ones ripped apart. Cancer does both. The finality of the disease is God damned brutal. I've had loved ones diagnosed and gone within 100 days. It is a powerless feeling.
Man, as a retired Soldier, there are a few occupations that I genuinely admire. Yours in one, indeed. Do your best.
|5 days 13 hours ago||Going tomorrow||
Going tomorrow and taking my 9 year old son. That is the beauty of having children....they are your excuse to watch Sci-Fi and cartoons well into your 40's. Looking forward to seeing Lakewood and Beorn as well as Mirkwood.

Recruits are aware of the "stars" that came before them. If you are a HS OL and follow UM in the slightest degree....that "77" jersey means something. We have been very lucky to have the blind side protection that we have had over the past 10 years...hell, and beyond (I'm the same age as Jansen so I very much remember his days). I don't think the 77 should be be worn next year....let's give it a year off to see how things settle out on the OL. If Braden doesn't have the elite feet to be a LT it looks like he will settle as our RT and Mags takes over as LT. I sure would like to see Mags add 25-30lbs this offseason.
|5 days 21 hours ago||Great kid||
We met him at a UM hockey game about a month or so ago and my wife and I were amazed and what a personable and nice kid he is. She was upset when I told her we couldn't adopt him.
|5 days 21 hours ago||You can make the argument||
You can make the argument that the "77" is more worthy of legacy status than the "2" or the "1". Just between Long and Lewan you have serious equity.
|5 days 21 hours ago||Hmmm||
THat is a lot of credit. We caught our rides from the USAF and brought our own provisions and Class IIIIX items. Lol. I work with numerous USN personnel and they are reminding the Army types about the win streak. Most Army guys respond with "Sorry, man, we haven't been able to pay attention to the game because we've been fighting a war."
|5 days 21 hours ago||The sound||
The sound of the A-10 engaging a target sends chills up one's spine. I've participated in numeroud CALFEXs during my Army career and always loved the Warthog. Very distinct sound.
|5 days 21 hours ago||I prefer||
The Yard Sale. Check your local Craigslist for locations in your area.
|5 days 21 hours ago||WHoaaa.||
Hold up. One cannot simply erase a Bed, Bath, and Beyond by appending a Home Depot to the front of that statement. I'm assuming you will be downing a six pack of Shiner Bock and doing some masonry work to wash away the BBB visit. That is the correct penance.
Since this is a POSBANG. Hooray for Home Depot (a grown man's toy store)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|5 days 22 hours ago||Go Army||
Too bad the game can't include enlisted. If so, then Army mops up Navy (Full disclosure: I may or may not be a retired Senior NCO....okay, I am <allow for bias>). In all seriousness I played intramural throughout my military career and was always impressed with some of the football talent I played with. There were loads of former NCAA scholarship guys that didn't pan out.
I can attest (10 years of Joint Service) that Navy officers are much more difficult to work with than Army officers.

and emotionally invest in a hockey National Championship this season? I do like this squad. I mean, come on, the hockey gods owe us one, right? AMIRITE?
|1 week 16 hours ago||Any chance||
Any chance this is the remarkable happenstance where six horny chicks with the first name Michigan met at a frat party?
|1 week 3 days ago||My dream scenario||
My dream scenario:
16 teams seeded on the final Sunday after the conference championships by the "BCS" committee.
1st round: Played at higher seeded location
Round of 8: Played at higher seeded location or at "Second Tier bowls" (Capital, etc).
Semi-Finals (4): Rotated between Orange, Rose, Fiesta, Sugar
Championship: Rotated between Orange, Rose, Fiesta, Sugar
Major Conferences get automatic bid: (B1G, SEC, PAC, Big XII, ACC, American, Big East, Mountain West) leaves 8 bids for at large.
Regular season can be no more than 11 games.
Rivalary week always scheduled for Thanksgiving weekend, following week is conference championships. First round is the next week. The only off week is between the Semi and Championship game which would place the game around the first week of January. The National Champion would play 16 games (unless an Independent which could play 15).
Everybody's Happy and we have a college football playoff that would rival March Madness. How about December Delirium?
|1 week 4 days ago||Future's bright||
We are bringing in some good DB talent. We snagged two underrated guys in Lewis and Stribling who both have another year to learn under Taylor and Countess (2 if he stays). We are growing a good S in Wilson and we can look forward to the highly touted Dymonte next year. Add in J Peppers and then Crawford the following year. It adds up to the most consistent DB talent we've add since the days of Leon Hall. With the loss of Hand (and I expect McDowell as well) we really need to grab some elite DE talent next year. I think we have recruited the LB position fairly well.
The Offense looks good in 2015 and beyond on the OL, RB, TE and now we need to focus on WR and we will be okay. I'm really excited about our RB recruiting with Harris inbound just as Green/Smith become uppper classmen.
|1 week 4 days ago||It would be nice||
It would be nice to be on the receiving end of a large flip. I do wonder Hoke and staffs stance on attempting to flip committed recruits. In Hand's case....kid clearly picked Bama over us.....wonder if they take the foot off the pedal or continue to ABC (Always Be Closing) until signing day.
|1 week 5 days ago||Yep||
Considering we ran out of IPs a while back, I'd say the overwhelming majority are PAT/NATted. If not then there would be alot of deny 192.168.0.0 0.0.255.255's out there. Lol...yeah, I know its not routable.
|1 week 5 days ago||Over/under on this?||
Does anyone else think that behind the iron doors of Mordor (which happens to be in Columbus) Hall is celebrated? I bet Urban gave him the "Doesn't reflect positively on the university" followed by "But, it sure was funny" followed by a fist bump. Just me?
|1 week 5 days ago||I found myself||
I found myself visiting far less often and that is the true measure, eh? One thing I really couldn't tolerant was the smart ass remarks to any observation or opinion. I remember a post where it was mentioned whether Morris should see the field if Gardner stayed on his path of turn-overs. Legit question. At what point in the game do you think about that move? The fourth interception? The sixth straight punt? No sooner than posted and the guy was just blasted ruthlessly. Sarcasm for days. It was a huge turn off.
|1 week 5 days ago||FORWARD!!||
Leave the bodies where they lie....the birds will do their work.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||Wow||
This is ridiculous and I hope the shooter serves serious time. Wow. I, for one, am hoping that Saban bolts Bama and heads for Austin. Surely he sees the crazy down there and after 8 years is ready to move on.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||Every time||
Every time I see Nik slash to the rim or just display his sustained aggressiveness I can't help but wonder: Just imagine if we still had Trey to maximize Nik's performance. Timing is everything. If 2013/2014 Nik was available last year....we are defending National Champions. Now, Dakich is right......"Why can't GRIII display the same passion and confidence and attack the defense"? We still have a long season....here is hoping the GRIII turns it on.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Whence cometh these rumors||
No need to mention names, what positions and/or class are involved?
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Not sure||
Not sure what I have done to sustain the wrath of the football Gods. Between UM and the Lions, I'm suffering. I pay my taxes, served my nation, volunteer my time, help my neighbors.....and I'm rewarded with this crap of a season.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Doesn't matter||
Hoke doesn't have an answer for OSU. He would need the Bucks to self immolate in order to win. Actually, Gardner would have to produce several long drives that result in TDs, which we haven't consistently accomplished all season. We would need at least three defensive turnovers with one resulting in a score and at least three "three and outs" in order to have a chance. On top of that, we would have to limit turnovers to one or less.
Now, what are the odds that happens considering we are going against a more talented and better prepared team. I'm realistically hoping we make them sweat and don't roll over in front of the home crowd.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Outscored 17-0 in second half||
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Yep||
I think I won't even watch the game next week. I can't tolerate a poorly coached team...don't mind being over matched with talent...just can't abide soft and indecisive play. I just hope that we don't start losing quality recruits over there. Looks like a 7-5 season and a shitty bowl game. I hope Morris blossoms and overtakes Gardner.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Ouch....now we||
Now we have to depend on Gardner to play clutch football. Need some good decisions and a couple of big plays here.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Clark.||
Clark has showed up and played like a man today. Wish our offense would help out.
