oh, estalker

isn't it past your bedtime?

"Turned it over as much as

"Turned it over as much as they did"

I think that part is backwards.  MSU had several more turnovers than BSU did, including one before the half iirc in BSU's red zone.  BSU only put up 3 points on their own (offensively), so it should actually be that Boise is really lucky that MSU turned it over as much as they did because that's the only reason they were in it.  It could have otherwise been an MSU blowout and I HATE to imagine the slurping we'd be hearing if that happened.

Definitely think Wisconsin

Definitely think Wisconsin will take a step back but they should still be able to cakewalk into the CCG.

Exactly.

-1 for trolling,

Exactly.

-1 for trolling, no response to be found.  You're pathetic.

Yawn.

Another jerk that I'll never get an answer from.  For MONTHS I have confronted people, I have explained myself to people, and asked for a shred of reasoning as to why I'm seen this way.  MOST people just run away and never respond and the ones that do somehow think that because I'm rational, because I approach things from an OBJECTIVE viewpoint, apparently I'm some kind of MSU lover.  I can't even comment on our new jerseys anymore.

Alumni (2005) aren't schticks, jackasses.  People who have dumped tons of money over the years into tickets, apparel, and reading/posting on a message board aren't schticks. Get over yourselves.

I would agree and that's why

I would agree and that's why an experienced O line, defense, and running game SHOULD hold a team in those early games enough for a QB to get comfortable.

That only started about a

That only started about a week ago, after I was sick of dealing with the last 6 months or so of not being able to discuss anything with anyone.

Hope this is real and the

Hope this is real and the piping is gone.  I think this (new?) jersey looks MUCH better.

*in before my e-stalker marks this as trolling... even though I have no idea how me saying I think our jersey looks good is trolling*

You've continued to call

You've continued to call their offense inexperienced, or rookies, but that's only the QB and most WRs.  The QB has been sitting, waiting for three years.  But media accounts he knows every word inside of their playbook.  He just has to get on the field before we know what he will be capable of but on paper he sounds legit.  We should definitely know by the time they meet Nebraska (or even us, for that matter).

But other than their QB and most WRs (yes, they return at least a couple of WRs who have seen game time), 4/5 of their O Line return and all of their (important) running backs return.  One went to the NFL last year but he wasn't even the starter.  Arguably wasn't their 3rd stringer by the time the season was over as he was a fumble machine.

So if their plan is to run the ball with that line and their RBs, and have their defense keep them in games (it has been said they lose their "best" defender although I'd argue Gholston or Bullough are just as impactful), they could hang in there.  MSU has every potential to be a real pest to a lot of B1G teams this year.  Maybe they aren't the breakout BCS bowl contenders we typically see in programs like OSU, but they can certainly be an annoyance just like Iowa or Wisconsin in recent years.

*in before my e-stalker marks this as trolling, even though it could not be more of a rational discussion piece conerning a rival*

Neither did Hoke and Co.

Neither did Hoke and Co.  This sucks.

lol, nice to see my e-stalker

lol, nice to see my e-stalker out in full force today while the rest of us have lives.  As simple and innocent of a comment as "yes" gets marked trolling.  Unbelievable.

Absolutely yes.

Absolutely yes.

I would actually consider I would actually consider Gholston their best player on d, or at least the d line. He really turned it up to close out the season against Georgia. Maybe Bullough. They return all three LBs this year though so they have an experienced group there and most of them would say that Adams is by far their best DB, and he is back for his senior year. I learned to hold my criticism after we said they were doomed for losing Greg Jones and Chris Rucker.
I've said it before and I'll

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the MSU should take priority not because of the 0-4 record but because of the divisions.  We WANT to beat OSU every year but we NEED to beat MSU every year.

What an odd thing to say

What an odd thing to say following THIS past offseason...

I've often wondered this when

I've often wondered this when it comes to radio as well.. seems like 97.1 (metro area) seems to bring up current topics.  Like we're doing their homework or something for them.

Objectively speaking, MSU has

Objectively speaking, MSU has tens of thousands of undergrads, a solid basketball program, and just rebranded themselves (which should have led to  a big boost in sales).  I don't think it's too much of a stretch to think they're top 20 or 30 nationally but nowhere near close to having the cache of UM.

*in before my e-stalker marks this -1 for trolling.. even though it is, once again, completely relevant*

Huh?  I don't think Bell was

Huh?  I don't think Bell was ever a problematic fumbler for them.. that was Baker and he left after last season.  That's also largely why he was demoted and Bell took over the starting spot.

But ya, they'll be turning a lot to their run game because most of the returning offense experience is on their line and running game.  Their QB will know the receivers from the scout team, I'm sure, and he's supposed to be an alright QB, but no one will know until the season revs up.

Hey, careful now.  I recently

Hey, careful now.  I recently posted that kids everywhere make stupid decisions, regardless of school attended or sports played, and got -1'd for trolling.

lol, my e-stalker bringing it

lol, my e-stalker bringing it strong on the weekend.

NOTHING about that is trolling and it was up for almost two days before you came and removed it.  Go screw yourself.

"L"

They did that because there was another Chris Rucker on the team.  I don't know if he's ever played a down for them, but there is a Chris D. Rucker as well.

 Huh?

Huh?

I

Still don't like them.

Did you just call Oregon a

Did you just call Oregon a "B-level team" ?

So some anonymous wuss

So some anonymous wuss downvotes me for saying it looks like it's from Meijer, but to say it's from a random truck stop is ok.  This board BAFFLES me.

Completely agreed but

Completely agreed but careful, acknowledging reality around here apparently gets you marked as a troll.

Ugh... really, really do not

Ugh... really, really do not like it.  Specifically the bar across the top.  Makes it look like it's from Meijer.

And here.... comes... my

And here.... comes... my e-stalker!

GO F yourself if you think that's a trolling comment.  Seriously.  Tell me what part of saying kids everywhere make bad decisions is a troll.

Welcome to the club man.  I

Welcome to the club man.  I posted that our ND, MSU, and Nebraska games would be interesting ones this year that would probably come down to whoever wins in the trenches and was downvoted and called a troll, lol.

Actually, a couple months ago I was telling someone how to buy UM game tickets through the school and was downvoted as a troll!  Figure THAT one out!

Ugh, are we really stooping

Are we really stooping to "how many DUIs do your players have??" arguments and posting links from 2009?  College kids everywhere **** up all the time. All that can really be said about it and I really don't think today is the day to be calling out MSU fans.

The problem is kids making

The problem is kids making bad decisions.  It happens everywhere.  It only becomes a problem when someone gets emotional or has their fun laughing at others because, inevitably, it will come back home and sting twice as bad.

Home invasion is.. a little weird... but DUIs, MIPs, marijuana... sorry guys but if you're running a college program it's bound to happen.   I'm NOT going to read tRCMB and see what they have to say (why would anyone?) but the bottom line is that it's going to happen everywhere and that's why I just keep my mouth shut when it happens to be one of ours.

Once again, since you're Once again, since you're apparently deaf, you have nothing to stand by on that accusation. Get the F over yourself.
Speaking of "chill

Speaking of "chill pills",

One of those threads (throwing to Arnett) was dated yesterday morning, before this video, and relates to one of their players (at a position of need/desperation this year). The one about "what is he eating" at least I interpret as a "holy crap, think we have enough Shane threads on this board?"  So I'm not sure if either of those really count as outrage.

Of the remaining two, they are copies of each other.  They both posted the video of the Dantonio impersonation.  Even there, a lot of people are loling or saying it's no big deal.  Not sure you can really hide Dantonio's stern demeanor, lol, but I'm also not sure we can call it outrage yet.

It's all about knowing WHEN

It's all about knowing WHEN to go.

Bottom line:  Summer months are the worst because kids are out of school and families are planning their vacations.  Weekends, speciflcally Saturdays, over the summer are the ABSOLUTE WORST time to go.  Holidays are a toss up because sometimes people go to CP and jam the park, sometimes they go elsewhere and CP is fairly quiet.

The absolute best times to go are May/June, before kids are out of school, or else September/October, when kids are back in school.  If I was going this weekend or something ya, I would definitely get a Fast Pass.  If I was going on a Sunday in the fall I would be absolutely fine without it.  Most rides are 15 minute waits, if that.

The hierarchy is:

Weekdays in spring or fall.

Weekends over the spring or fall.

Weekdays over the summer.

Sundays over the summer.

Death.

Saturdays over the summer.

That (policy in the OP)

That (policy in the OP) is.... absolutely insane.  Gives no time to look for work or accumulate any kind of money to begin paying those.  It's like forcing people into delinquency immediately after graduation.

WOW is that a bad policy in my opinion.

lol, good point.

lol, good point.

Uhhh... Mitch McGary is doing

Uhhh... Mitch McGary is doing the exact same thing, isn't he?  Playing down a grade?

and his dad is obviously

and his dad is obviously related to Drake, a UM PROSPECT.

It's totally classless to trash his family on the message board of a school he's considering.  You think recruits don't search the internet for chatter about themselves and a kid who has gotten such serious interest from UM isn't going to find mgoblog?  I would hate to think of him reading some of the comments in this thread.

*posted before my e-stalker marks this -1 for trolling*

Even though... Urban was

Even though... Urban was given all of last fall/winter to recruit their class because the NCAA allowed them to have TWO coaches simultaneously and devote one solely to recruiting?  Pfffft.  OSU can go blow.

MSU and Wisconsin seem to be

MSU and Wisconsin seem to be anomalies.  Consistently recruiting lesser known players, often 3 stars, but hold their own.   UW has made it to a couple Rose Bowls with them.

I have no idea what that will mean for either long term but it has worked for a couple years.

A quick check shows that MSU

Can't imagine it's as serious as our interest in 2014 recruits right now but a quick check shows that MSU has put offers out to a few 2014 kids and recently hosted a few at their camp.

*in before my stalker marks this as trolling*

Sigh. There is absolutely Sigh. There is absolutely nothing trolling about what I posted. My e-stalker, you so silly.
Huh? Word coming out of Huh? Word coming out of spring (on 247) was seven or eight "game ready" players and legit position battles which they hadn't had before. There is no telling how those players will pan out but they return four from last year so even if a couple are decent then they have a reasonable two deep. Dunno if it'll keep up the way their future recruiting is going but inthe here and now I don't know if I can rip it. I don't know if it will be amazing but shouldn't drop off either.
Oh downvote stalker, you make Oh downvote stalker, you make me feel fuzzy inside.
In short, yes, I think so.

In short, yes, I think so.  In most cases it is no secret why kids are at schools they end up at (to play ball) and there are times in which they are physically capable of playing.   If they value academics I think it is something they will take upon themselves to do well at, not being forced by the NCAA or any other measure into a classroom and into reading books.

Ugh....

one post.  one post

Ugh....

one post.  one post until someone has to bring up MSU on this board.

blah blah, you're not the

blah blah, you're not the first to claim this and post absolutely zero to back it up.  Wanna know why you have nothing?  It's not true.

Whoa, look out guys.

Whoa, look out guys. Apparently saying UM has a great tradition means you're a troll around here (according to my superfan/stalker that keeps -1ing everything I do).

Careful, apparently it is

Careful, apparently it is flamebait to speculate why something was subpar for MSU.

"You guys" ?  "us" ??

Hey,

"You guys" ?  "us" ??

Hey, I agree that holding happens on the line during every game regardless of teams.  I never disputed that I just said that Gholston lost his cool.
