We can thank..

We can thank Chris Partridge for this.  Even the Paramus Twitter account said something along the lines of "Thanks Coach C. Partridge for taking care of his players @ Paramus Catholic."  It appears as if as long as Partridge is here and Jabrill is in the building, there will be a strong relationship between Michigan and Paramus Catholic.  (For those of you who live in a cave, Chris Partridge is the former head coach at Paramus Catholic.)

Gotta Love

Gotta love how JH is in the middle of every drill with every position.  Like the fact he's taking a true hands on approach... something we haven't seen in a long long time.

Sadly

This team went downhill after Soony Saad and Meram graduated.  Soony Saad may have been the best player to ever walk into Ann Arbor (played against him in HS)...

Aside from that, Chaka has struggled to turn talent into results on the field and has seen top recruits in state go elsewhere (SEE: DeJuan Jones to MSU).  Daley will get one more go I would say, but many of his decisions have been questionable such as giving Evan Louro run as the #1 GK over Adam Grinwis.

Would love to see a fresh new name enter and try to revitalize the passion for soccer at UM.

2015 kid

Per 247. Intriguing. His Twitter profile header is the go blue banner so seems like there's some traction to the reports. 6'1 200lbs and was a 3* by most all services.

Canteen

Seems destined for early PT.  Not only is he an early enrollee but comes in at a position of need.  No true slot guy.  He or Moe may end up the best WR of the new recruits. Same could be said for Drake.  Kid was elite in HS, nobody has seen him play since he was hurt.  Its good to know Michigan is getting bigger guys though.. creates mismatches everywhere and only makes the job of Devin easier.  You look at the offense this year, everybody may be bigger than 6'2 minus Norfleet and JP5 if he gets time both ways. GOOD GOOD GOOD.  Its a step in the right direction, now its up to coaches to develop these kids and I think Nuss can do that.

Listing off..

From film I have seen I would say the leading guys to be sleepers are...

Lawrence Marshalll- Alot of people predict he may redshirt but I could see him being what Ojemudia was his freshman year but better. Lo has really beefed up and is even more athletic than Mario was two years ago.  Kid has a high motor and immense raw talent.

Mone-  Big body, stuffs the gaps, good motor for a guy over 300 lbs, could he play the role Ngata played in Baltimore under Mattison?

Ways-  After talking with Moe several times over the summer until now, he has gone from a boy to a man.  Great size at 6'4, makes all the catches, I think in the long run he could be better than Harris.  Moe is a very mature kid too, knows the game, I worry about Drake's attitude at times.

Canteen- Only because he is really fast, great set of hands and enters at a position where there is a void.  Also helps that hes on campus early.

Michigan..

We will always be in or near the top 5. There's not much that sells better nationally at a collegiate level than the winged helmet to people.  Its a hard piece for the eye not to catch. Dave Brandon is doing well, always venturing out for new oppurtunities for the program, cant ask for much more.

As I've mentioned..

We need to quit focusing on other schools.. We need to focus on how our Wolverines can win ball games.. not about "State" or Ohio.  This team is in a crucial phase right now.  Recruiting and those around us , yes are quite fascinating, but as Michigan fans, the most important thing is beating KSU on the 28th. One thing at a time and this program can and will be well on its way to the roses once again

mark..

McDowell has made it known throughout the entire process that he planned on comitting at the all american game on national tv.  And why are we so worried about what Ohio State does? IF you dont remember, we had nearly a full class by the end of the summer for '14.. what more can you ask for man. Be patient, it will come. We need to focus on winning football games, not who OSU is recruiting.  If Malik wants to be here, like many say he does, than he will be come next fall, if not than so be damned.

In my opinion..

I think everybody needs to take a step back and relax.  I honestly think if NSD for his class was today, he'd still be blue.  Just from what I'm hearing this isnt all his decision.  Nonetheless, this program needs to get back to doing what they built themselves on years ago.  Get kids who can play and win ball games.  Take a look at MSU.. yes, big brother as of late.. Dantonio just pulls kids who can play, without viewing rankings or national hype and find themselves playing for a B10 title nearly every year of the last 5 and they win ball games.  Campbell is an elite talent but if he changes his mind, you cannot freak out on him. He's a 17 year old kid.

Funny

Thing is it is crazy how the recruiting world is changing with earlier recruitments and offers but the play of Ross speaks for himself.  I spoke with the coach of the Cubs, Coach Tandy.  Add, the Cubs are the little league esque team that produced Richardson, James, RJS, JD, and Josh now.  He said that Joshua will be bigger than his brother and is further in progression than James was at the end of his freshman year.  Josh will be the top talent for Michigan in 2017 and is built like a high school sophomore or junior already.  He will be BIG TIME

Name of the Year..

Goes to.. 2015 WR Equanimeous St. Brown. a 6'5 WR out of Servite High in California. http://bleedbluerecruiting.com/2013/06/17/smsb-interviews-2015-wr-equanimeous-st-brown/

Lawrence Marshall

Was at SMSB for all days, watching drills and chatting with coaches from his future home.  He offered quite an interesting bit on filling out Team 135, especially with two key guys..  Might I add he is huge now! Filling out body wise.. BIG TIME. http://bleedbluerecruiting.com/2013/06/17/smsb-interviews-lawrence-marshall/

Jacques Patrick

http://bleedbluerecruiting.com/2013/06/17/smsb-interviews-2015-rb-jacques-patrick/  He was at SMSB on Day 2 and we were able to catch up with him.  I found it interesting when he said that Coach Jackson mentioned that he was the top target and back for 2015 with guys like Harris and Weber so interested..

i will

Ill post the rest of our interviews to this thread as they're posted.

Really Felt..

Like Winovich had to drop this weekend in order for it to happen..  With him waiting til after the Pitt visit I feel like he still is a bit of an OSU lean.  Stranger things have happened though, Ferns wrapped up Lawrence Marshall pretty quick.. along with the help of Mo Ways.  Like I said still think he ends up at OSU but with this great group of kids, anything is possible.

I feel like..

We will take two.. 1 will obviously be Peppers who I feel we land, and 2.. which I hope should be Westphal.  From speaking with Nicholson last week he says they merely just keep in touch over Facebook and that the coaches havent dropped by in a little while.  Seems things may have somewhat cooled with him...  The coaches seem to be saying just 1 cause they want premier players.  I.E the offer to Oliver is merely just a backup option.. Think Crawford from last year's class.. If Reon Dawson hadn't committed than odds were that Crawford would have been offered and more than likely committed.  I say we get both Peppers and Westphal at this point.

Yes

BBR as in Bleed Blue Recruiting

Damien Harris..

http://bleedbluerecruiting.com/2013/04/22/2015-getting-to-know-damien-harris/  Damien Harris may very well be one of the top RB recruits for 2015 and a 5* player.. Michigan leads early for him and he seems to favor Michigan quite a bit.. for our website, bleedbluerecruiting.com we spoke with him last month.. a real good kid with sick skills on the field.

Walton..

From watching Derrick or as his AAU teammates call him.. D-Nice several times in person this year and speaking with him many times, I think he has a lot of potential.  He is more a passer and likes to get his teamates involved more than Trey or Darius did once.  Derrick is a true 1, PG, who when needs to takes over a ball game.  Nearly averaged a triple double his senior year.  Kid is a monster and should do big things.

Spoke with Darius West last week..

We spoke with him after the coaches swung by to see him last week and he said the coaches told him they are only taking one guy in the secondary.. From all my info I have gathered, it appears that would be Jabrill Peppers (ATH) and than a Parrker Westphal.
