206 but we will be with friends who are IL season ticket holders.  My buddy from Flint is in 106 with his family.

I've coached teams for about…

I've coached teams for about the last 10 years.  Last 6 years football and baseball, just baseball prior to that.  The toxic travel culture is everywhere.  There are 10+ travel programs all within a few minutes driving distance from us.  We have friends who have played all over, every program has issues.

My oldest is a freshman this year, playing baseball and football.  I am glad to just be a dad and watch.  He is playing high school baseball only, if his talents allow him a scholarship great, if not his academics will get him into a great school.  I'd rather have him play less and enjoy it than burn himself out playing year-round.

My dad and I were huge into…

My dad and I were huge into sports cards when I was a kid (early to mid 90s).  We did mostly basketball and baseball cards but sprinkled some football in there in the late 90s.  I sold a bunch of Kobe rookies and high end Jordan cards around 2003 to help pay for my wedding.

I still dabble in baseball cards.  I heard this mentioned above and its 100% accurate, serial numbered/autographed and game used cards are the only ones that have any value.  You might get lucky and hit on a Bryce Harper or Mike Trout rookie card that isn't but let's be honest, those guys are generational talents.

I also have a few Jordans and some Pujols rookies left.  I usually check eBay for accurate pricing.  No baseball card shop is going to pay you close to what you can sell it for on eBay as most of them have eBay stores to help supplement the dwindling interest.  Its like going to Gamestop, you are lucky if they give you 20% of what they plan to sell it for.

Any idea which one the…

Any idea which one the baseball card was?  I was pretty active in my younger years, Jordan was my main obsession and I don't remember any of his rookie baseball cards being that much.  Upper Deck made a short printed (non rookie) card in 91 or 92 that was inserted in baseball packs.  The card showed him taking batting practice with the White Sox.  This graded "Pristine" (prob only a couple in existence) may fetch you under $2K but usually sells for $2-$10 ungraded.

If you have his 86-87 fleer basketball rookie, they normally go for a few thousand ungraded/low graded.  High graded get into the $3K-$K range, and Pristine/Gem mint could be close to $100K.

I miss the hobby a ton, but its gotten so expensive and if you can't dump hundreds into it at a time you end up with useless cardboard.

sarah

I think we need to stear this discussion to the real nugget of news in this article, the possability of seeing Sarah Spain at a game in AA.

Love it

Love most of it.  We spent way too much at the MDen when we went up for the Hawaii game.  My kids, wife and I all got some regular Nike and a few Jordan things for xmas.  I bought maybe 1 or 2 non-hat clothing items during the Adidas regime.  Thought most of that stuff was ugly and I just don't care for Adidas.  Call me crazy but I've been a Nike/Jordan person most of my life, hope they stay together for a looooong time.

He's a great kid. Glad he has landed on his feet. He's a great kid. Glad he has landed on his feet.
close.

Hoping for a win, but I'm sure it will be a close one.  Wish I didn't have to watch it at work.

Also, found this comical, doesn't reek of copying us or anything...

I've been a Block M wearer I've been a Block M wearer for as long as I can remember. I bought the new Jumpman flex fit (because HARBAUGH) and it's my new favorite hat.
I used to be a big 47 fitted fan but the Nike Flex Fits are my go to if I have a choice anymore.
Just saw an article in the Just saw an article in the Peoria Journal Star that Bradley's basketball team is losing a MINIMUM of 6 players and maybe as many as 9 due to the coaching change. This doesn't include their lone senior who exhausted his eligibility.
One of the two college One of the two college basketball games I attended this year was Bradley/Indiana State (couldn't turn down the free 3rd row seats). The other was IL/Mich. We live in Peoria so I've see this program struggle quite a bit in the last 9 or so years. They were awful this year, probably why the coach was fired after only 4 years. They didn't even look good in warm ups. I'm sure Max immediately becomes their best player. As was said a few posts up he is from here and I'm sure playing his last season in front of a true home crowd appeals to him. Also not sure what his major is, but Bradley has a really good engineering school. They aren't on par with Michigan (who is??) but it's a pretty solid school all around.
ESPN scouting report

What's the rule on posting paywalled info?  If its allowed I can copy/paste, his ESPN scouting report sounds pretty good overall.

Kentucky Fan Site saying Marrow turned HARBAUGH down

Posted this in the Searchbits article but it probably fits this post better.

First two sentences of the article:

"Word on the street is that Harbaugh was trying to lure Kentucky's best recruiter, Vince Marrow, to Ann Arbor. After that news came word that Vince turned down the Wolverines."

Hopefully this is just wishful thinking by a Kentucky Fan Site, seems like Marrow would be a good addition to HARBAUGH's staff.
