Does not come as much of a surprise, as it seems Hackett operated like a true professional before, during, and after his biggest hire. Everyone wants him to stay, I would think. As far as ADs go, we hear about the typical guys who have ties to Michigan, but I don't know how realistic those hires would be.

Yet another reason to be optimistic. Yes, today's loss was agonizing and humiliating among other things; however, we have the most important piece of our program locked up for a long, long time. In college football especially, the head coach is king and there is no one I would rather have at the helm of our program. This one will sting for a while, but I get the feeling Harbaugh will throw some more steel in the team's spine and have them ready to finish out with a big bowl victory. 10-3 is still on the line, and next year we are only better. Any good disguises I could try that would allow me watch the game, say, from the sideline or in the endzone? Help!
Between the goofy arena and the hilariously bad offense, this is like a game straight out of the Twilight Zone. I'm just waiting for Rod Serling to walk out onto halfcourt, cigarette in hand, remarking "and tonight the Wolverines learned the painful lesson of coming to Paradise only to leave tragically battered on a basketball court in (dramatic pause) the Twilight Zone.
No one will be afraid to drive in the lane, and that sucks because it will work out pretty much every time with athletic guards and forwards. No help. No presence down low. This is difficult to watch, boys. Still over here screamin' Go Blue, but yeah, we are in trouble.

Yeah, I think that's true on some occasions when he has to make a snap judgment. In view of his high pitch count on offense/defense/ST, he probably absorbs each hit with more and more caution. I'd rather he prematurely fair catch a few punts here and there to give himself viable PT on defense and offense. Overall, though, he shows impeccable instincts when fielding punts. Kid is a baller.
