Win, baby, win.

Win, baby, win.

Because opening a practice in

Because opening a practice in a hot recruiting area will definitely NOT result in those recruits gaining interest or even planning an official visit to Michigan's campus. Exposure U. Haters gon' hate. Sankey is stankey, etcetera and so on.

Man, we have such a weird

Man, we have such a weird basketball team. So glad we won, though! Go Blue!

Gee whiz, it's like the SEC

Gee whiz, it's like the SEC is worried about the dawn of Michigan dominance in college football or something.

This guy will be scurvy-free

This guy will be scurvy-free for years. Huge win, if you ask me.

I had no idea Neuheisel was

I had no idea Neuheisel was capable of such a thing. It was so unexpectedly awesome.

I made it in! Hooray for

I made it in! Hooray for closing!

I'll gladly hop into this

I'll gladly hop into this posbang, given some of the alternatives just below this thread.

Let's not forget Jim was

Let's not forget Jim was educated at the University of Michigan and coached by Bo Schembechler. A classically educated, competitive jackhammer-of-a-man whose training and tutelage in Ann Arbor makes Luke Skywalker, Plato, and Adonis Johnson look like a buncha chumps in comparison.

Why would we assume that?

crootin' got me slightly insane. Taking a step back, and will return Thursday morning amid the fog and debris of NSD.

Who downvotes a great

Who downvotes a great Simpsons reference? This episode also reminds me of the "foliage" vs. "foilage" pronounciation, among other highly relevant things.

We were really lucky going up

We were really lucky going up against Minnesota given all those ugly bricks. This was a tough game to watch, no doubt. But, a win is a win...right?

It was great to see the court

It was great to see the court free of students. We were in the National freakin' Championship game just a few years ago, so, yes this did not call for such a display of exultation.

Gutierrez went to DLS but Gutierrez went to DLS but Brady played at Serra.
I agree. He's never been an

I agree. He's never been an explosive back, but he looked particularly hampered when making cuts and turning upfield in the second half of the season. I would like to see him have one full, healthy season behind a strong O-Line.

I don't want to know your

I don't want to know your name, I just want bang-bang-bang.

NEW JERSEY TAKEOVER

NEW JERSEY TAKEOVER CONTINUES!!! GO BLUE!!!

Go Army! Beat Navy! I would

Go Army! Beat Navy! I would love to see this game become more competitive. And with the BYU opening ...

I saw that he made a comment

I saw that he made a comment about this in the teleconference interview on the front page. Does not come as much of a surprise, as it seems Hackett operated like a true professional before, during, and after his biggest hire. Everyone wants him to stay, I would think. As far as ADs go, we hear about the typical guys who have ties to Michigan, but I don't know how realistic those hires would be.

Thus begins the unraveling

Thus begins the unraveling ... unless ... the Packers out-Lions the Lions again. An all too familiar scene, anyway. But damn it, I will still finish it. And still root for the Lions even if they lose. It's a real sickness.

ha! "stop pissing and moaning

ha! "stop pissing and moaning and just enjoy this," says the guy to a bunch of Lions fans. Yeah, pal, we get it. They're playing well right now, especially on defense. But you will never be able to take pissing and moaning out of a Lions game. That is part of the damn tradition, man.

I agree. They should have put

I agree. They should have put this game out of reach by now. Granted, the Lions rarely put a team away in the first half. Huge props to this defense for keeping them firmly ahead. The defense has truly propelled this run.

Yeah, I know they want to

Yeah, I know they want to commit to the run and have pledged to do so, but Jesus, make some in-game adjustments. They have scorched them through the air, and could have put this game away with some smarter early-down playcalling. Frustrating to watch this.

Yet another reason to be

Yet another reason to be optimistic. Yes, today's loss was agonizing and humiliating among other things; however, we have the most important piece of our program locked up for a long, long time. In college football especially, the head coach is king and there is no one I would rather have at the helm of our program. This one will sting for a while, but I get the feeling Harbaugh will throw some more steel in the team's spine and have them ready to finish out with a big bowl victory. 10-3 is still on the line, and next year we are only better. Cheers to the Victors! For those who endured the loss live at the stadium, I salute you. For those who have tried to justify selling their tickets and allowing the Big House to become inundated with scarlet -- F you.

Here, here. Jake really grew

Here, here. Jake really grew into his role and guided this team extremely well through a transition year. Every game is a toss-up if we have either of our current backups as starters all year. Better days ahead, and everything.

I've got tickets to the game,

I've got tickets to the game, but I'm not sure where to really WATCH the game, y'know? Anyone got any inside knowledge on places to watch the game within the stadium, but not in the seats? Any good disguises I could try that would allow me watch the game, say, from the sideline or in the endzone? Help!

+1 lol

+1 lol

Lost the feed. Thank God.

Lost the feed. Thank God.

Between the goofy arena and

Between the goofy arena and the hilariously bad offense, this is like a game straight out of the Twilight Zone. I'm just waiting for Rod Serling to walk out onto halfcourt, cigarette in hand, remarking "and tonight the Wolverines learned the painful lesson of coming to Paradise only to leave tragically battered on a basketball court in (dramatic pause) the Twilight Zone.

Oh sweet Jesus. Why? Why am I

Oh sweet Jesus. Why? Why am I still watching this?

Three of our dudes together

Three of our dudes together can't get an offensive rebound. Lol. Damn it.

No one will be afraid to

No one will be afraid to drive in the lane, and that sucks because it will work out pretty much every time with athletic guards and forwards. No help. No presence down low. This is difficult to watch, boys. Still over here screamin' Go Blue, but yeah, we are in trouble.

Very well said. The MGoBlog

Very well said. The MGoBlog community serves an important role in our lives, and it is well worth stating as much from time to time. With a very emotionally demanding job, and a rough work schedule, I echo your sentiments. Here's to another great week of football, folks. Go Blue!

My God ... are we going to

My God ... are we going to have this thread every goddamn time Rawls has a big game? I, for one, enjoy seeing him get a chance to prove himself. Yeah, it would have been great if he had developed as well and played as strong during his time at Michigan. The Hoke era is over. Get over it already.

If shitty Ohio State can hang

If shitty Ohio State can hang around 'til the end, I give the Lions a chance, too. It will be Franklin's signature win.

fuck this entire game,

fuck this entire game, really.

Somebody better have a

Somebody better have a mountain of Zingerman's sandwiches ready when he gets there! Don't screw this up!

Awesome news. Way to go,

Awesome news. Way to go, runners and coaches. Not a lot of flash with XC, but as a former runner and now coach, I know how incredibly hard everyone has to work to earn that championship. Go Blue!

That is a truly awesome

That is a truly awesome recruiting story. Genius, indeed.

Yeah, I think that's true on

Yeah, I think that's true on some occasions when he has to make a snap judgment. In view of his high pitch count on offense/defense/ST, he probably absorbs each hit with more and more caution. I'd rather he prematurely fair catch a few punts here and there to give himself viable PT on defense and offense.   Overall, though, he shows impeccable instincts when fielding punts. Kid is a baller.

Great breakdown and analysis

Great breakdown and analysis of the stats. Sudfeld presents a real challenge, even with our very talented secondary. But we will still come out ahead by three scores. #Harbaugh

I also started to reminisce

I also started to reminisce on the Griese-Tuman connection as I was typing that post. Jerame Tuman was definitely one of my favorite pass catchers for the reason you just mentioned.

He's pretty good. I also like

He's pretty good. I also like Rudddock, sometimes, Ruddddock, but never Ruddddddock.

I think Brian Griese is

I think Brian Griese is definitely high on my list because national champions and Tai Streets. Griese to Streets ranks near the top of my favorite QB to WR connections at Michigan. Anyone else have any favorite QB-WR combos?

I'll NEVER forget being in

I'll NEVER forget being in the student section for the first play of his first start against Western. My God -- that touchdown! That certainly set the tone for his electric play. What a guy.

We did play a game at

We did play a game at Barclays though, right? I can't remember if it was the tournament or just a preseason game ...

Indeed -- football has been

Indeed -- football has been such a distraction that little attention has been given to the basketball squad. We are mesmerized by the HARBAUGH. It is intoxicating. I welcome the distraction. :)
