I went to Shane Morris' high school when he was a freshman, and my brother is on his team and friends with him. He looked really impressive in the first half, going 12-15 for 210 yards. The 12 completions were all in a row. There was actually one play where he was being rushed in the very back of the end zone, sidestepped one defender, spun around to avoid another defender, and was falling one way and heaved the ball about 50 yards downfield for a completion. Second half he didn't really do anything because DLS had a big lead and mostly ran the ball. Oh and he had probably about 25-30 rush yards. He had one TD but almost had 3 as twice his WR got tackled at the one yard line. His arm is everything people make it out to be.
I think that by the end of the year the percentage is going to go considerably higher. There's a great chance that every new recruit we get from here on out is going to be a 4/5 star. Plus some three stars could get a 4th.
Actually a solid pickup for sparty. Apparently an Elite 11 finalist this year. Really doesn't matter who we get this year anymore with Morris next year though.
Really gotta trust the coaches on this one. Hopefully they are pretty damn sure Jarrod Wilson will commit here. To lose out on such a high recruit in Morgan who was silently commited here and not get Wilson would suck.
Question... if the current recruits per year is 28, and they constantly sign 30+ classes, how would dropping it to 25 make a difference? Can someone please explain, completely genuine question.

pretty disappointed in this article. I feel like most of the new stuff that came out was from many years ago and nothing really new happened. While the new in depth info on cars, memorabilia for drugs/tattoos was pretty significant, the media made it seem like there was going to be groundbreaking allegations made. Someone posted earlier that there was going to be stuff on sex, Ted Ginn Sr. being paid to help recruit, and more things that don't come to mind right now. Where was that? Unless more new allegations come out, I'm not so sure of OSU getting USC type sanctions anymore. It's still very possible but not as certain as I believed it would be in anticipation of this article.

Really tells alot about Morris' ability, as he is one of only two 2013 prospects selected to play in this.
I agree they look terrible, IMO they go absolutely awful with our helmets.
Yup, he seems like a great back for our system, and every single major recruiting site has him as a top 5 back.
