Absolutely. He has a more soothing demeanor, and he no longer makes me worry about whether he's going to say something that might make him sound bad.
6'22" - reminded me of Dubya for a sec... anyone else see it? It's not a terrible thing, because I'm sure Dubya might have made a great football coach.
Septembers were always pretty great, and by November I had nothing else to do but keep watching and hope for the magic to come back. Here's to a new beginning, though, and for RR's kids to go out as winners.
Man, I just looked at the list of departing 2012 seniors and got really sad for a minute. I became a Michigan fan right about when the RR era started, and these are the players that have been the face of Michigan football for me. Will be real choked up to see them go.
Just watched his film ... and got really excited because he reminds me of mike hart. Anyone else get that feeling? The kid just doesn't go down after first contact.
Thank you for clarifying. I admit I have no idea why he's delaying the press conference, but based on everything that has been said about him the last week, i.e. he's playing around with the media a la DeAnthony Arnett, it doesn't sound like he's being noble about this whole process. Yeah he's 17 and immature if that's the case, but you didn't see any of our other recruits mess around like this.
Huh. Sounds like a waste of resources. It would probably be easier to get the athletes to have something signed by their profs or TAs every week saying they went to class.
I wonder how the coaches know whether a player has skipped a class. I thought professors who take attendance just take points off their overall grade rather than report it to the coaches.
So does SIAP mean sports illustrated/AP or "sorry if already posted"? Because the only times I see SIAP in a post is when there's a link to an article by the professional media.
One day JoePa is going to wake up in the coaching staffroom and simply leave his body behind. He will continue coaching as the ghost of Penn State football.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but while winning out would be great, winning only one of the next two would be bad in terms of bowl games. Beating Wisconsin or OSU would mean that the Big Ten loses the BCS at-large spot, which means everyone else gets bumped down a notch. And since according to ESPN we're not going to beat out Penn State for a bowl since it might be JoePa's last ... we might end up at the Texas Bowl or something. Still warm, though, for Darryl Stonum's sake.
Michigan Muesday (previously Monday) is up. As I read this, I actually felt a sense of camaraderie with the Ohio State fanbase. I suppose it is comforting to know that even your worst enemy can still be rooting for you when you're down ... even if it is just so they can try to beat you with more relish at the end.

change is refreshing, i guess, but i'm not a fan. this one sounds whiny. ew.
Apparently yours did, too.
The keyboard got stuck.
My computer won't show the embedded picture for some reason, so if anyone else is having that problem, here's the link:

i hope recruits will someday realize that this kind of stuff doesn't reflect well on them. but as of now, i also hope he goes blue.
who dat?

At 1:55 ... what are the linebackers doing? It looks like they're learning how to dance. anyone with football experience know what that is?
David Molk is so good because he played for the 1969 team. Back then his name was Dick Caldarazzo.
I couldn't do that.
Thanks!
Hey guys, I've been on the blog for only a couple months and never figured out what FAKE means in terms of the 40 time. Can someone clarify?

Thanks for the info.

Holy crap, it's Brian Kelly!
Wait... are we eating wolverines, are wolverines eating buckeyes, or are we eating buckeyes?
Antecedents, man. Antecedents.
Stanzi kind of reminds me of Tom Brady. Only not as good.
I bet everyone looks 5'5

He looks like Charles Woodson, but wider.
Believe me, I've tried. I try every day. But there's a thing called addiction that comes in the form of "refresh."
It brings on many changes.
We have a defensive coordinator who .... wait for it ... GIVES INTERVIEWS.
Yes, the Gallon factor is an important point. Here's why our special teams dropped so much from 2009-2010:
KR: Stonum ==> Gallon (bad idea)
PR: Odoms ==> Gallon (bad idea)
Kickoffs: Wright ==> GibbonHuizen (couldn't help it)
FGs: Olesnavage ==> GibbonHuizen (couldn't help it)
Punting: Mesko ==> Hagerup (freshman jitters, couldn't help it)
haha that's what i always thought, too, because all the SIAP posts were links to news articles

We can has Hoke?

I was going for the Professor Binns from Harry Potter reference, but Star Wars is just as good.

Congrats! In celebration, you should try saying the middle part of that sentence five times real fast.
That's the dance team actually. Maybe the coaching controversy is messing with their personnel, too?
Did you just call her fat?
dunno why everyone is so sure Oregon's going to win, seeing that they struggled against Cam Newton Lite last year in the Rose Bowl.
Gryffindor vs. Slytherin.
because you don't mess with the girl another guy has eyes for. Especially if that guy has a history of being bigger and better than you.
someone just punched hopkins in the nuts.

That 2 PT conversion at the end gives me deja vu. Notre Dame 2009 4th Qtr 0:11 anyone?
This is like in The Matrix when they're staring at the screen and going, "I don't even see the code. All I see is blonde, brunette and redhead"
Hey, uh, you want a drink?

28-24 Good guys.
Shoe! Lace!
I hit the "refresh" button on mgoblog neurotically. Oh wait, that's everyday.
But since I don't have enough points to start a new thread, I was hoping someone could put this up:

Straight-line, like his spine.
that Denard keeping up those numbers means we win those games.
