I pray for the Buckeyes everyday but it does no good, No matter how hard I pray they are still Buckeyes.
All seriousness though, hope they have a speedy recovery.

I feared a flag after every big play. I'm still not sold on that defensive holding call on one of our linemen and the Peppers PI call was horrible. I felt a little better after the Wisconsin game ended and saw the video of Wisconsins TD that got recalled because they said the WR didn't retain possesion.... At least the Big Ten Officials are universally horrible this year

When Woodson played for U of M, I honestly didn't pay much attention to player character, player interviews or anything like that. I was a kid growing up in the heart of enemy territory, Columbus, Ohio. Woodson was THE defensive player I thought all great college DB's should be like. Everytime you needed a play to spark your team you look to the great ones and Charles always seemed to deliver. I knew nothing about the man, only that he was and still is one of the, if not the greatest defensive players ever to throw on cleets.
It' wasn't until Coach Carr retired that I really started living and breathing Michigan football. There was always a love but, this is when it became a full blown obsession. I started following college recruiting, checking for every little tidbit about Michigan football. I started paying attention to the types of players the University put onto the field. Denard Robinson was the first player I ever liked more as a person, than as a football player. To make a long story just a little shorter, after reading this article, I'm an even bigger fan of Peppers as a person.

First, the targeting rule is extremely unclear, atleast to the officials it is. What's targeting one play isn't targeting the next. You can hit people how ever you want below the neck and above the knees, so Henry's assisted sack was not targeting.

Competely guessing but first names I think of are Scott Schaffer, Derek Mason and Bob Shoop. I just threw Shoop in there because I'm assuming the Penn State staff has to worried about job security.

Sorry hehe, Wheatley is by far my favorite and without a doubt the best RB I ever saw at U of M. The perfect mix of size, speed and strength.

The way i see it is, if you take Peppers off our defense, we still have a pretty good defense. He's a certified big play threat on offense and If Butt leaves early, who do we have on offense that you could say this about.

oh man then you never saw Tyrone Wheatley play football! I get your point though

Such a sad picture. As a father this just hurts the soul. The absolute worst thing a parent could ever go through. If you have kids around Chad's age you can't help but think, what if it where my son. Thanks to the Carr for sharing Chad's story and light with the rest of the world. Rest in peace little guy, forever #Chadtough

He's got to make up something because He's becoming the Penn State version of Brady Hoke real fast, John donovan is his Al Borges and Shoop is his coach Mattison.

Well the coaching staff and the defense. They couldn't stop the run even though everyone in America knew it was coming.
|4 days 11 hours ago||Well Penn States defense is||
Well Penn States defense is good enough. If PSU's O-line can keep Hackenburg upright for 2-3 seconds a snap, I'd say they have a shot.
|4 days 11 hours ago||What more do you have to do||
What more do you have to do for that to be a TD? Was the QB past the line of scrimage? Did he not call the bank? That's the worst call I ever seen and I've watched every Michigan game this year so that's saying something.

The team was getting open shots with great ball movement, it's nobody could consistantly hit those open shots besides Caris. The defensive side was what worried me the most. When Xavier's guards decided to penetrate they where 3-5 steps past the defender before he even turned his head, no help came, it was hard to watch. I think a play that perfectly sums up the effort by Michigan in this game was during the second half. Xaxier misses a shot, it's a long rebound it's coming right to Zak Irvin... who stands there waiting for the ball, while Xavier player hustles in front of him, getting the offensive board. Now Michigan is not going to miss open shots like they did last night all year but, they have to atleast try to play some kind of defense and atleast try to get a rebound.

Whoa what? No way, if you take Levert of this team, they lose by 40-50 last night. Burke not only had it, he had Tim Hardaway JR., Sauce, Glenn Robinson III and a few bigs who where respectable defenders.... Staukas had the same minus Burke. Caris has, Caris and a lot of players who just need more time to develope. Not every player is going to be 1-2 starter and be NBA ready.

I remember a few years ago Sumlin was at Houston and they played PSU. PSU had a really good front seven that year, their pass rush was excellent. Houston destroyed them with quick passing routes, completely took their pass rush out of the game.

There's still a lot of football to played. There is no guarentee Alabama wins out, Clemson could always Clemson in their last 3 games. It's still too early to argue about hypothetical scenarios. Let's talk again in 2 weeks

Ok Point made but, earlier in the season he was missing every long ball ( even to wide open receivers) he threw and even short easy throws. These might be the worst defenses in the big ten but it's not like Oregon state, Maryland and UNLV where top defenses by any stretch, he struggled against those defenses. The last two weeks he played lights out and was the main reason we won vs. Indiana. There is no reason he can't play like this the next three weeks.
