California is a bit hard to argue against! Russian River, Firestone, and The Bruery alone are...I mean, they're ridiculous. That's not even mentioning San Diego's breweries and everything else! A trip I'd like to do at some point soon is a West coast trip starting down in SD and driving North, hitting all of the amazing breweries along the way.

Drinking a Bell's Oracle as we speak. First time. Good, well crafted beer. Though Hopslam is better and sees way more distribution I'm assuming, as it seems Oracle isn't made in very big batches(?) and is a "rarer" beer, for whatever reason.
Also, Iowa should be higher. Toppling Goliath, alone, makes us an amazing beer state! My humble opinion. The pale ales, IPAs, and barrel aged stouts are all world class. Any of you coming this away in 23 years the next time Iowa plays Michigan, make a detour through Decorah, IA or find some pints hopefully available in Iowa City/Cedar Rapids.

Seriously. You're pretty effin dumb if you can't realize that.
"Geez, that beer you gave me, Two Hearted is it? I loved the sour and fruity flavors!!!"

That in fact appears to be...a semi-colon!
Also, I like that the 2 jersey has the Nike logo that the 90's Wolverines were supported by and the newer semi-colon jersey is Adidas for the past few years. Good detail-attention.

Yep. That is what I do for the few games a year I take in. Box seats there, behind the visitors dugout, are awesome. A sunny day game at 1 or 2 in the afternoon, an expensive shitty beer in hand, feet from the opposing team's dugout (Braves in my case)...not much beats that.

Cobb County! Good move for them in your mind? Never been to a Braves game, being from the midwest, but I know all of the "issues".

When you don't research your ticket well enough and find yourself behind a beam at Wrigley Field. Son of a bitch.
Wrigley Field as a whole is a cool place. However, not in the 200s with hunks of old steel blocking the damn game.

Well we had to know an SEC team wasn't coming up here so, actually not a bad mini-series. Hope that in 6 years Washington is a solid football outift.

I honestly can't think of the games (may have been a basketball game, but I'm thinking more football within the past 2-3 years) and it wasn't the actual loss that made me tear up. It wasn't quite a real outpour cry but I obviously had some pent up emotion and something about a loss and the effort and devotion and overall emotion that gets put into these games/kids/outcomes kind of came to a tipping point and I had to walk out to my balcony and take a few minutes to put shit together.
This happens every now and then for me when something (song, movie, moment) strikes a chord and I realize I've had some stress and emotion built up. Honestly, everyone should go have a cry every now and then (whether it's every few weeks or years) when too much life gets build up inside; it helps and for some reason helps the brain's phenomenal power put things in perspective.
*it may have been after the Louisville game after my buddy left my place. That was a touuuuuuugh loss

I'm with you. The fact defenders can't do anything anymore sucks. I'm on the side that what Sparty did to Notre Dame last year was legit and all of most of the PI calls were bogus. That sucks to say, becasue if they won that game...OMG. Anyway, the NFL has become a passing league becasue yes, great quarterback play, but also because defenders are called for penalties way too often yet rarely when an offensive player initiates contact are they called for it.

"No question. No question. The guys that are playing in this defense are ours. You know, I really respect the first group and the groups that we came in with. Anytime you come in and demand what we demand it’s hard, but these kids that are here now are all the ones that we brought in here. They’re the ones that we’re with every day of their lives"
I get it, really I do. However, and I realllllly am not starting a flame war in defense of RR, but the guys that weren't theirs won them a Sugar Bowl their first season adn went 11-2.

|3 weeks 1 day ago||Your last sentence is mostly||
Your last sentence is mostly true. I mean there's plenty audiophiles still going but that's a dying bread as the lineups are getting worse and more mainstream and untz untzy. I do give credit as they got The Cure last year, Jack White two years ago. They still get solid acts but a lot of repeats from just a couple years ago (Eminem) and some scheduling has left some to be desired.
I'm not exactly a metal guy but enjoy some good rock, which is also a seemingly dying breed. I do like Arctic Monkeys and would have seen them if I went Friday. However, to me they are still a sub-headliner. Them going on before Foo Fighters at 6 or so a few years ago was perfect for them, but I do understand how they are "blowing up". However, they wouldn't headline any other festival, yet, only at Lolla, which gets back to their lackluster lineup.
Anywho, getting back to Rock, I saw Ghost B.C last year and was impressed. By the sounds of it I probably would have enjoyed Royal Blood.

Why he's talking about playing any low level team is part of what's wrong with college football, especially in regards to the teams from down South who rarely travel out of the region to play anyone.
Like stated above, it's Spurrier just being Spurrier in talking up an upcoming opponent.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||Worst Lolla lineup ever.||
Worst Lolla lineup ever. However, I went yesterday, for Outkast primarily but also watched Temper Trap, Fitz and the Tantrums, a little Manchester Orchestra and, unfortunately Foster the People. We stayed on that side of the festival to be able to get good Outkast spots and that we did. They pretty much kicked ass. Crowd seemed pretty into it as well as I'm sure most people there really only knew the radio hits. Their hip-hop lyricism was on point though for the 90s stuff. It was all well done though and I'm glad I went.
Also did Cut Copy after show Friday night since they were opposite of Outkast last night. We were on the railing at the Vic theater for Cut Copy, feet from the band, and that show was a straight up dance party; amazing.
