Tough call It is a tough call deciding which one was more exciting. The 2005 PSU game gave the team a major boost, especially after losing to the Gophers the prior week. If I recall... it was a pretty defensive game in the first half, but turned into quite a show in the second. I was actually worried M would lose that game once Henne had the ball stripped away and Michael Robinson turned it on. However, it was the coming out party for Mario Manningham and a victory over a top 5 opponent. The ND game last week was just a shootout between great rivals, but... for some reason I never thought M would lose. Forcier and the offense were almost unstoppable. That's the main difference. There were some plays in the PSU game that made me think M had basically handed the game to the Nittany Lions. Manningham and Forcier both put in memorable performances and it's too tough to determine which game meant or means more.
oops But, Mason wasn't a sophomore. Yikes.
Boubacar Cissoko just had a bad game. I believe he will positively progress as the season moves ahead. He was playing man against possibly one of the best WR duos in college football. As for secondary players who I wasn't too fond of- Curry, LeSeuer, Trent, and I can't believe no one mentioned Grant Mason. If anyone recalls the last drive of the 2005 OSU game... Mason was largely responsible for every big pass given up. Most notably the dagger to A Gonzalez.
chocolate milk Chocolate milk always gets me amped.
everyone will According to Pryor, that's what everyone does.
Miami/ FSU I've been watching this matchup for years, but ever since say... 2003... it has become quite hideous. The games may be close and hard fought, but it gets old after observing continuous turnovers and just flat out bad QB play. Can't believe this game has been given a prime time slot.
