2 weeks 5 days ago Baseball did address the RPI

Baseball did address the RPI situation this past season

The formula used in NCAA baseball is the same as that used in basketball except for the adjustment of home and road records. Starting in 2013, college baseball "RPI formula will value each road victory as 1.3 instead of 1.0. Each home win will be valued at 0.7 instead of 1.0. Conversely, each home loss will count 1.3 against a team’s RPI and each road loss will count 0.7 against a team’s RPI. Neutral-site games will retain the same value of 1.0, but the committee is studying how to determine if a game should be considered a neutral-site contest. The adjustment is based on data showing that home teams win about 62 percent of the time in Division I baseball."[2] The change was made because of the discrepancy in the number of home games teams play. Some schools are able to play 35-40 of their 56 allowable games at home, while other teams, due to factors such as weather, may play only 20 home games.

This adjustment replaces the current system of bonuses or penalties that teams receive. Bonus points are awarded for beating top-75 non-conference opponents on the road and penalty points are given for losing to bottom-75 non-conference opponents at home. Bonuses and penalties are on a sliding scale, separated into groups of 25, with the top bonus for a road win against a top-25 team and the worst penalty for a home loss to a bottom-25 opponent.[2]

Fischer will be gone before 5. Heck i think Johnson will be gone at 4.

If Lane Johnson is there at 5, take him.

A ton of d ends their at bottom of round 1/ early 2

can always trade back into round 1

If possible, i'd like the lions to take Johnson at 5, and Tank Carredine if he is there at 36.

Denard 5-6th round range

Campbell maybe in the 7th

Roh, Demens, Kovac -- camp invites

Stay away from Ansah !

if your guy is not their, trade back, trade back multiple times if you have to.

I like Womack also, but not at pick 5 overall,

4 weeks 3 days ago The day we signed  Charlie V

The day we signed  Charlie V and Ben Gordon, I knew the Pistons were screwed for the 5-8 years. I said it that very day.

If the Pistons are smart, they don't go after anybody in this crappy free agency class, and wait to spend that money in 2014 !

Yes it is another bad season, but get as much cap space as possible freed up and make a run, and while your at it, keep drafting in the draft.

They need to get rid of stuckey ( if somebody offers a 2nd take it), do not bother resigning Calderon or any other decent players. I would resign none of those free agents that come from our roster. I would talk to Monroe about an extension..Clean House

You got Knight, Drummond and Monroe, Jerebko, Singler, Kravtsov,Middleton,English

8 guys, need 6, well 2 draft picks gives you 10 guys and 4 holes to fill, if you have stuckey somehow thats 11, Go young and cheap, buy 2nd round draft picks and fill 2 of those holes, and find somebody else undrafted

this team needs to just straight up suck in 2013-14, and than go from their

but knowing the pistons, they will spend this money on a buch of cut rate free agents ( see charlie v and Ben gordon ) and do the same shit all over.

And yes, I am for Laimbeer as head Coach

4 weeks 3 days ago Looney's High schools is 4

Looney's High schools is 4 blocks from where I live, I know Coach K from Duke was at a Hamilton game this season. Milwaukee Hamilton that is.

I think we have a shot at Looney, I do not see him staying in Wisconsin, and yes, he needs to add some weight.

Milwaukee has a ton of talent

Diamond Stone would be huge, His cousin , Ryan Evans just finished his career at Wisconsin.

Luke Fischer is a 7 Foot center from Germantown going to Indiana. Germantown has not lost a game in over 2 years I think.

Duane Wilson, is a point guard, who was teammates with Diamond Stone, and is now at Marquette !

Gonna be tough to get Stone out of Wisconsin. Wisconsin and Marquette I think have an inside edge. But if the kid wants to go out of state, Mcgary's success will be huge in showing it can be done for Big Men at Michigan !

10 weeks 1 day ago 347 teams, the licensing

NCAA Division I Basketball has 347 teams, the licensing fees got way way way too high and the ncaa got greedy

couple that with crappy game making ( ea sucked , 2k was solid )

if the ncaa lowered its demand on the licensing due to 347 teams it would have a shot, especially with the new gaming systems coming out

ncaa football, you only have 121 teams or so , so alot less teams to worry about on the licensing..

Hopefully with the new ps4 , and xbox 720, you will see a new college basketball video game..

we can only hope !
