would you believe that, after the “altercation”, I actually began to imagine, in my head, a kind of crazy guy coach who would say things like this to other coaches. I kind of got into character (crazy guy) and started saying crazy things in a crazy voice and actually said this exact thing! and then when I finished saying the crazy things I considered the possibility of a crazy guy coach like that at a big school like ours, and I said to myself “they would never allow this guy to keep coaching at this big school on account of because he’s too crazy.” so uh let’s hope this isn’t true.

I wonder how much a difference Milton's arm strength makes on those quick passes like bubble screens. Seems that little extra zip is crucial to get the ball to guys before the D can close in. Also our WRs all seemed to do a great job blocking on Saturday which helped.

For anyone like me who was confused by the title, the song OP put in the background of the video is called 'God's Gift' (by J cole).

Personally I wouldn't have chosen that title to refer to our final four run, but the video is cool nonetheless.

Zavier Simpson was praised by the commentators this weekend for his ability to 'trap' a defenders arm with his off hand, which he appears to do almost every time he drives. Late in the MSU game however he was called for an offensive foul for this. 

Is it an illegal move, similar to the 'hook' that players use typically in the post? Or is it more like the 'swatting away' of hands that ball handlers seem to be allowed to do? Or is there some gray area here like holding in football?

Also the first question about things he liked in the game last week - I believe the question was specifically about Speight. He said we won the game which is 'his' number one job, and then discussed the courageous throws into tight windows. The transcript makes it seem like the question was about the team.

Perhaps a detailed analysis of strategies and adjustments is more in your wheelhouse. It would be great to see a breakdown with some game clips explaining how our two tourney opponents attacked us differently and how we were able to adjust. You could even call it "Not Just Some Shooters". Whoa I'm feeling that! Can't wait for the post! ;)

I expected to read a review yet I see mostly plot summary with a sprinkling of critical analysis at the end.  You say in the beginning of your piece that the book deserves all the acclaim it has received, yet you fail to support this statement in your review.  You also rate the book 8/10, yet your review doesn't offer an explanation as to why.  You do mention that it moves slowly at the beginning and you include the brief analysis at the end.  I expect more information of this nature and less explicit plot summary in a review.

I also read in the comments that you wrote this all on your phone because you "couldn't get to a computer."  I don't understand the rush you were in to post a review of an old book on a Michigan sports blog.  I know you meant to have proper formatting, but since you couldn't wait to get to a computer, you failed.  If the post isn't ready, why post it?  Again, I don't understand the rush.  Take pride in your work.

Finally, you included spoilers.  As I've yet to read the book (been meaning to for ages)... yeah.  Avoid doing that, or put a warning in your title.
