Given the circumstances

Given the circumstances surrounding Penn State and considering some of the other issues that have popped up as of late throughout the NCAA, does anyone else get the feeling we may be hearing of other violations/cover-ups over the next year or two?

Not really sure we need to

Not really sure we need to concern ourselves with signing another DB.  All I'm really concerned with at this point is Treadwell.  It'd be nice to get Green as well but we can always pick up an elite back in next years class.

Being a Kent State grad, I'm pretty familiar with Ohio (not that Ohio).  They are streaky behind the arc, very quick, and athletic.  They rank near the top of NCAA in steals.  When their shots are dropping they can be a load.  At the same time, they dont' really have a lot of height under the rim and rely almost exclusively on their guards to make plays.  I'm still trying to decide whether I like this matchup.

Additional Note: Walter Offutt, a transfer from Ohio (yes that Ohio), plays for Bobcats.  He has had a very good year and was a regular contributor for Buckeyes as a freshman.

I was just talking with a friend of mine and we mutually agreed that Ty Isaac would need to have his head examined if he doesn't choose Michigan.

The recruits keep on coming!  It's almost noon in Ohio and my Miller Lite is well stocked in my refrigerator.....anyone care to celebrate?

Well he didn't have a "non committable" offer from Ohio, must not be very good!  I'm hoping you detect the sarcasm

I spoke with an Ohio fan who explained (a) Michigan's O-Line haul in 2012 and thus far in 2013 is irrelevant because Ohio garnered the top D-Line class in 2012.  And (b) the commits with offers from both schools chose MIchigan because they didn't have "Commitable" offers from Ohio State.  He can't seem to accept that Hoke and the UM staff have beat Meyer to the punch on several recruits (getting in early).  Discussing football and recruiting with Ohio fans sometimes reminds of of talking to my 9 year old nephew.

This is good news!  We'll

This is good news!  We'll have an opportunity to see BWC and QWash tonight, albeit against a weak offensive front.  Pipkins will need to step it up EARLY next year as we will need him in a relief role at the very least, possibly as a starter.

I like them.  Looking back I recall the stripes on the sleeves of the away jerseys.  Aside from some of the finer details such as the numbers they do look much better on the players.  I can only hope that the white pants are NEVER EVER worn again however.  I have spoken with a few friends this week and, according to principle, I understand the reticence to accept this alternative jersey thing.  In many ways I completely agree.  Yet, it appears to be a vogue marketing and recruiting tool and hey, at least the three different looks we've sported haven't made us look like complete clowns (uh MSU, MD, OR)

I just spoke to a friend of mine who grew up in Pittsburgh.  His words were "Pitt needs to fire their AD immediately."  First, the moron hired Haywood without conducting a background check and thus was unaware that he had been arrested on domestic assault charges.  Next, he chooses Graham over Bradley.

Not to worry about Dymonte,

Not to worry about Dymonte, love it!  Maybe Urban will use his premonitions of death and dreams of players in Ohio uniforms while he fulfills his new "Dream Job" as recruiting tactics.
