Peppers at 10, which seems low.

Argentia is excellent at pressing. Their strength is in their attacking front 5-6. I would think that putting an attacking lineup out there would help to relieve pressure and push the focus to the middle third of the field. The best way to defend Messi is to deny him the ball in the first place, and that only happens if you can control midfield.
I think you throw caution to the winds, take the game to their end and hope you can get a fluky goal or two to offset their inevitable scoring. Then pray you make it to penalties.

It was a truly boneheaded move by Jones. You would think that a veteran leader like him would be able to control his reaction a bit more, especially given the advantage just given to the US at the time.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Perry Kitchen?||
I would love to see Perry Kitchen get a shot. Hearts apparently loved this guy as a box-to-box type midfielder this year. He could be a good replacement for Jones. Obviously a lesser know commodity, but is certainly more mobile than Beckerman.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||No lone striker Dempsey||
I agree that we need a two forward formation.
We learned our lesson in the last WC. Dempsey needs another strike partner to work effectively. Sadly, that is probably Zardes.
|15 weeks 4 days ago||Stronglifts?||
Are you doing Stronglifts 5x5? I'd highly recommend this for anyone looking to start weightlifting. It's a fairly approachable beginner regimen. You can literally start withe just the 45lb bar and work from there. Focused on the basic multi joint lifts.

I think we may have had the same professor. 8 am timing for me didnt help either. Broken english with a hangover is a bad combination.
|15 weeks 5 days ago||Ziff||
Not sure who you had for this one, but having Ziff as a professor didn't help either. He loves thermodynamics, and most of the time it was like "get a room" between him and his chalkboard math. Way too much theory for me.
And yes, I'm pretty sure fugacity was some kind of messed up trust fall gullibility test.
|15 weeks 5 days ago||ChemE||
EECS might give us a run for our money, but between the grueling lab classes (360, 460) and deep engineering theory (330, 344, 466), you pretty much got used to having your ass handed to you by the curriculum. Junior year especially was difficult.
|15 weeks 5 days ago||360||
I will second CHE 360. Insanely long technical reports, terribly written briefs on what you are supposed to study or answer, combined with the fact that some of the inevitable CHE dropouts are still in the class and you just might get partnered with one of them (shudder). That class broke me.
|16 weeks 4 days ago||BTN Fail||
Can we talk about BTN's coverage? Way to commit to 40% of a game and then walk away.
|16 weeks 4 days ago||UFR?||
Obviously this is just first impressions, but there were a number of major busts in the running game, both letting running backs and quarterbacks drive thru gaping holes. Some of this may be LB related, some not. I also saw quite a few completions over the middle to TE's that could be on the LB's. Overall, I was hoping to see more.
|16 weeks 4 days ago||Agree Completely||
I agree. The whole team looked a step better than last year's spring game. Lots of walk-ons and 3rd and 4th stringers showed today, but there was still quality in the ranks. Keep in mind that a good number of surefire starters didn't even play, and still we had a great game.
|16 weeks 5 days ago||Punt formations||
Lots of motioning on punts today. Harbaugh the younger seems to have a knack for trickeration as well.
|16 weeks 5 days ago||Malzone's Hand||
Yeesh, was that a bone sticking out of Malzone's hand? Gruesome
|16 weeks 5 days ago||Nice catch by Gentry there.||
Nice catch by Gentry there.
|17 weeks 5 days ago||This||
Completely agree. He was the sole highlight. I'm relatively agnostic on Affleck as a whole, but he was far from the problem.
|17 weeks 5 days ago||Affleck role praise||
He's probably on a soul search because he turned in a great individual performance amidst a terrible script and overbearing direction. No way anyone walks away from this film remembering him.
|17 weeks 6 days ago||Matt Miazga||
BTW, for those who are USMNT fans as well, Matt Miazga is exactly the type of player that sees time in these games. He's one of the brightest young American talents in the world, so hopefully he's healthy and in the mix for this game (He plays for Chelsea).
|17 weeks 6 days ago||Euro2016 Dates||
Euro finals are July 10th (Copa ends June 26th), so there's a chance some of the stars will play.
That being said, as this is one of the few competitive breaks in the year for most players, I wouldn't expect a full 90 from everyone. Mostly fringe players and those working back into starting rotation.
|5 years 37 weeks ago||Ditto||
What he said ^^^
|5 years 37 weeks ago||
His twitter account shows good character. He would be an excellent catch for our team, and not just because he makes plays on the field. Hopefully he goes Blue after all is said and done!
|5 years 37 weeks ago||Dallas in Dallas!||
I like the ring of that. Hopefully by 2012 he will be locking down receivers nationwide! Secondary depth yeah!
|5 years 37 weeks ago||Rules are rules||
Hate to see it happen to anyone, but hopefully this is dealt with swiftly and effectively. Can't have this sort of rule breaking running rampant in the NCAA.
|5 years 37 weeks ago||Agreed||
Fitzgerald. We need more data to see what we have with him. Also, good for depth going forward.
|5 years 38 weeks ago||Anarchy||
Phew! This defense and this team in general need Roh. He is a true Michigan Man, and I know he will grow to be a terrific leader.
However, I am concerned that the players have to be the one to point out such inefficiencies. This is just another example of Gerg's inability to coach or do much of anything.
|5 years 38 weeks ago||The Running Game||
I think that the running game will be the main story in this game. Scheelhaase is certainly capable of going Justin Siller 2.0 on us, but perhaps all of the "rabbit chasing" our defense has done to catch Denard in practice will pay off? Maybe? Probably not. I see him and Leshoure putting up 100+ each tomorrow.
Also, I believe they will be able to limit our one-dimensional running attack. I see them out-gaining us by a fair margin in passing, rushing and total yards.
I'll be glued to the TV and I hope the outcome is better than expected.

|5 years 38 weeks ago||I-94 and I-65||
I have tried all three routes many times before, and I can tell you that the fastest and easiest way to get there is by taking 94W to 65S. The speed limit is 70 mph virtually the whole way and directions are a piece of cake.
The state roads feature several poorly marked turns and the police love to nab people for exceeding the 55 mph speed limits.
