I've already seen a ton of Drake's quotes expressing his great respect for urban and coombs and that a visit will be scheduled there very soon. I have almost read nothing in that respect concerning a visit to Michigan. Which has me very concerned because lately there have been a lot more recruits from Michigan other than Damon Webb and Drake Harris expressing great interest for Ohio. For example Cass tech RB Mike Webber already has OSU as his leader. MSU may be falling on their faces right now but Ohio is sweeping into Michigan very hard now.
But I think if Bama loses we may have to see them again in the Capital One Bowl. Not saying we would lose again but I'd much rather play another team. Although, I wonder how Gardener would fair in a rematch?
Recently, I went through some of our less popular commits (Hurst, Stribling, Hill, Dukes, and York) and I am astonished by our ability to notice and lock down talent. I recommend the mgo-community go and check out some of those players senoir highlights. Especially Hurst, his film is unreal and I am VERY VERY glad we snapped him up.
Im sure Channing is gonna get his third star but the question is if he is worthy of being a four star. I honestly don't care because the coaches are sold on him, but I know he as a player would appreciate that accolade. Also what was the official update on his injury?
No he isnt a legacy player but I feel he falls into that genre because his family ties to the NFL. A lot of coaches sons have done well anyways though. I though Kugler had a brother that played college ball though, which I think makes you a legacy player in a way.
I guess legacy may not be the right word but those strong family ties go along way in preparing a player.
I missed the broadcast but who was actually discussed that caused this major bias on the *buckeye side of things. I am on Wolverinenation and Tom often has to fend off of the stupidity of buckeye nation.
Whether it is basketball and now football, there are quite a few legacy players. We have seen how being a legacy kid has paid off for player like Hardaway and GRIII, really hoping this logic transfers to football.
This makes a ton of since. As a Falcons fan I don't like giving Mora too much credit, but if UCLA wins it would make a ton of sense. Oregon really got F***** this year lol
But I am not new to recruiting and I think this is completely normal for any recruiting cycle. Yes, it sucks to have our players decommit but compared to other universities, who allow visits, our recruitment at Michigan has much less drama than other places like USC or most SEC schools. At schools who allow visits, their commits go on every official visit and give another school a shot at flipping them. My friends at UGA sit on the edge of their seats literally EVERY week not knowing whether a kid got "blown away" by a visit they took. So I say relax because we are Michigan "For God's sake".

Do you think Alabama take him back after the way he left them? I mean I guess it would be like us taking Dawson back sans the retarted tattoo.

I really wish spell check was built into this text boxes my bad lol
As much as I will miss the Wolverines storming to the field, watching them storm out on the court has been just as satisfying so far.
Channing is great at positioning himself for impact plays. Underthrown but he is a playmaker.

Of loosing Gareon Conely. Another phenomenal athlete picked up by the coaches. I expect to see him all over the field today.

NOT a fan of Nebraska but for the B1G I think they could handle UCLA in the Rose bowl
