|1 day 6 hours ago||my apologies||
I thought you meant that "the blog will remain the same" as in terms of the posters will still post crap that is wrong/you dont agree with....and I also think we will have another bad year with Borges at the helm....You may very well be correct of Schofield, but I think time truly will tell...either way, im worried about another bad-to-mediocre o-line and even worse play-calling that will make it shittier...and im with you, I hope we are both completely wrong, I will gladly eat humble pie with a side of crow if we win 10 or 11 games next year!
|1 day 6 hours ago||other than trolling||
what do you really think is going to improve??? I see an 8-4 record, at best 9-3, with the same issues on Offense and same excuses...So. Miss (nearly the worst rushing team in the FBS) rushed for positive yards against Nebraska, yet Michigan under Borges/Hoke (mainly Borges) nets negative yards....so please, explain to me why im wrong and why you think you are smart with a shitty condescending insult
|1 day 7 hours ago||time will tell...||
I think he has a decent chance at eventually being a decent contributor to some NFL team...but either way, replacing 2 fifth year seniors at the ends is going to be hard....and Borges being Borges will most likely go back to shitty play-calling and blame his players like he always does...so my question is: what in the hell is going to be different about our o-line?
|1 day 7 hours ago||oh geez,||
i don't know, maybe his consistent play, ideal size and strength and ability to be coached by a competant OC/line coach who understands how an o-line is suppose to function
|1 day 7 hours ago||man||
not sure what kool-aid you were drinking, but it must have been from Borges himself...If you think the o-line is going to be better after losing a pair of NFL draft picks, then man, I wish I had 1/10th of your optimism
|1 day 7 hours ago||not reading into this...||
too much, other than the fact our offense has gotten consistently worse under Borges
|2 days 6 hours ago||haha, wow||
reading your posts make me laugh "being able to run 82 offensive plays this game (vs just 57 and 63 against Iowa and Nebraska, respectively)."...well no shit, throwing screens and opening up the running game gives you more plays and scores you more points! had Borges called the same shitty game he did against iowa, Nebraska, NW, UConn and Akron, Michigan would have gotten steam-rolled and you would have yet again been blaming the players for lack of execution....Borges calling 2 good games all year does not make him a good OC...and as you say "he isn't stubborn" because he changed the play-calling for more useleses manball plays (tackle-over) still makes him stubborn...he knew his useless @ss was on the hot-seat and did what he needed to keep his job...hopefully DB looks at him as a CEO should and still fire him for his terrible body of work and the 3rd year of regression
|1 week 1 day ago||take a look at the student section...||
if you think there is a conspiracy....no tea-partying analogy is needed, the empty seats and people selling their tickets for cheap talks & walks
|1 week 1 day ago||wow...||
damn Brian, you pretty much took the gloves off with this post....although I cannot disagree with you in the least bit!
Anyhow, Go Blue! and may the bourbon and/or whiskey be flowing with all of you as it will be with me

For bringing to light a lot of the posters on here who are blaming the young players...but to overlook the fact that Borges is terrible with all of the pertinent data that has been shown and proven on this board by multiple math minds is nieve to say the least...We have clearly gotten worse under the calls/coaching od Borges, and to keep on blaming RR and youth is no longer valid...teams are suppose to progress as the year goes by, the offense has been regressing nearly every week since Borges has taken over
|1 week 2 days ago||I agree||
with most of the post except Al Borges...He is terrible and will not adjust to his play calling and giving him another year with yet another young o-line is flat-out saying you are OK with another 7 or 8 win season, or worse
|1 week 5 days ago||wooohoooo!!!||
Michigan - 45
Iowa - 57
Al Borges is #1 and we are great on offense again!!!!!!!
But we still lose
|1 week 5 days ago||agreed||
but Horford has done pretty decent, however as soon as he makes one or two minor mistakes Beilein pulls him and goes with 3 guards which is silly...let Horford develop, we will need him badly nexty year to be a dominant force down low after Mitch goes pro
|1 week 5 days ago||well||
in order for Mitch to succeed (or any of our bigs) that would require them getting more than 10 minutes of playing time...but for some reason Beilein doesn't like to play bigs unless he is forced to do so

about this game: LeVert and GRIII
Now before all of the sheep on the board get upset, let me explain:
LeVert had a lot of mistakes in the first half: forced shots, getting burned on D, shaky dribbling and a few forced/dumb passes...He has looked good against bad teams, but against the likes of ISU and other good teams Mich played (last year) he played terrible/scared and I am worried about his ability to play good against the good teams...As for GRIII, I have yet to see him really create his own shot, he obviously has a ton of potential, but he almost always needs someone to setup his shots/dunks and that worries me a bit considering he is a consesus lottery pick...I have no doubt that GRIII will progress as the year continues, but I am not so sure about LeVert...Caris is a great defender and causes a lot of problems for guards with his length, but he has yet to impress me on the offensive end of the floor against a top 25 team
|1 week 5 days ago||you want stats???||
Fitz longest run: 35 yds
Green longest run: 30 yds
Talk about a selective memory on your part: Green fell down on multiple shoe-string tackles when he had wide-open spaces to run thru...but hey, yeah lets keeping bashing Fitz, our most productive rusher (both in yards and TD's scored) and keep calling him a "dancer" even though that dancing broke a 20 plus yard run against ND and won us the game....Green ran in almost every game and went down as soon as he got touched...you are a complete idiot if you dont think that Fitz could have ran just as well as Green and Smith in the NW game
|1 week 6 days ago||thats funny||
all that "dancing" Fitz did/does has him at more YPC than either Green or Smith....how does that Crow taste?
|1 week 6 days ago||Please||
explain to us why Fitz looks lost and why they should just punt if Fitz is going to be out there...I mean, he gets the ball with at least one guy in his face half of the time and still has over 600 yards rushing on the year and over 3 YPC with the worst o-line I have ever seen at Michigan....so please, I would love to hear your expertise on why Fitz is so bad and how he couldn't have done what both Green and Smith did against a bad NW team with wide open holes to run thru
|1 week 6 days ago||agreed...||
this also worries me, especially considering how tough both Iowa and OSU defensive lines are...Iowa isn't all that great, but another shift in the o-line on the road is cause for concern to say the least

to Blue in Yarmouth! great post and I agree!
|2 weeks 10 hours ago||haha, wow...||
seriously bubblelevel??? its fans like you that would probably be happier if a traditional pocket QB were starting even if that meant Michigan would be 3-7, maybe worse...DG has plenty of ability (as he has shown multiple times) and makes a few bad decisions here and there (moreso in the beginning of the year).....his OC/QB is absolutely terrible and needs to be canned in order for DG and this team to move forward next season...I like Morris, but he would have been destroyed this year with the current o-line and playcalling
|2 weeks 1 day ago||haha...||
only in a perfect world would that happen!
|2 weeks 1 day ago||are you serious????||
So your rational is that Al not letting him check out of plays when the box is loaded is to put in a freshman who has shown nothing and cannot scramble nearly as well as DG and will most likely get killed by doing so....great analysis, lets forget the terrible play-calling of dive runs into loaded boxes that go nowhere....lets not run more shotgun, by doing so giving DG more time to read the defense and scramble better, lets just blame DG because he has been hit/sacked more than almost any QB in the country and lets just put in a freshman who had a bad senior season and will not be anywhere near ready to compete
|2 weeks 2 days ago||normally i would agree||
but Hoke shows compassion and take accountability for his short-comings...Al is stubborn and frankly arrogant and I for one cannot stand his attitude (hence the reason for the name calling)...but you are right, name calling is a bit of low-blow, although I have seen plenty of people on this board talk smack about Charlie Weiss' weight!
|2 weeks 2 days ago||wow||
great question/post!...by showing fat Al the facts, he would likely flip out and continue to blame the players, per the usual...but i would love to see his initial facial expression after getting carpet bombed by a series of question like that!
|2 weeks 2 days ago||hahaha||
|2 weeks 5 days ago||understandable||
I am also tired of losing and not retunring to glory...but I feel that most of us come here to complain/bitch to other like-minded fans who understand the incredible frustration we have endured over the season/decade (as you suggested)....I don't think anyone here enjoys talking about the failures, but if we can't vent on the internet/a blog dedicated to the community of Michigan fans, then i don't know where else to go!
We're all in it together, don't forget we win as a blog and lose as a blog! haha, just trying to bring some comical relief into the shitty football season (by Michigan standards)
|2 weeks 5 days ago||I agree||
that Denard would have helped out more as a Percy Harvin type player (offensive weapon, if you will)...but Borges' MASSIVE flaws are now out in the open...Devin is a damn good QB and tough as nails, without him scrambling and making plays this team would be under .500 and heads would certainly be rolling come December...Shane Morris will be good, but he would have been destroyed (along with as lot of other QB's) if he were the starter this year (or next)
|2 weeks 5 days ago||I understand BILG...||
but what in the hell do you suggest we talk about as a group of concerned fans??? How good the punting was the last game????
|2 weeks 5 days ago||hahahaha...||
+14,567 points for making laugh out loud at work! Great picture
