the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

Holy crap that's awesome. Thanks for posting. |
| 4 weeks 2 days ago | Wow |
That is fantastic. I'm happy to see that all graduate programs will potentially benefit from this. |

| 10 weeks 16 hours ago | I agree |
Effective doesn't quite capture the same sense as impactful, but its the best one-word alternative that comes to mind. Forget I said anything, we obviously all know what we're getting at here. |
| 10 weeks 16 hours ago | The word is all over the place |
And I'm not immune from wanting to use it either. But as I've seen it become more popular here, I couldn't help but draw notice to it. It's obviously no big deal, but one thing that I've always appreciated about this community, is that we value things like writing more than the average Internet sports site. |
| 10 weeks 18 hours ago | Oops on Green |
Kali's for redshirt freshman. I'd be excited if Drake Johnson could "do some stuff" too. |
| 10 weeks 18 hours ago | Kalis |
I second Kalis. Although I won complain if Green shows up and steamrolls past the competition. |

That's what they just announced. Did I hear it right? |

I'm going to pretend this thread never happened. |

The stain on our uniforms is regretable, no doubt. But aside from poisoning the culture of traditional uniforms, it has been nice to see a program develop into a powerhouse outside of the SEC. Plus, Oregon is fun to watch. |

I was in the midst of making a thread on this myself. One second no threads, next second three threads. At least that adds a little excitement to the NFL next year. Hopefully Oregon doesn't drop off, I think they're good for college ball. |
| 21 weeks 5 days ago | I agree it was a good season, |
I agree it was a good season, far better than the previous. It'll be interesting to see whether next season starts immediately after La Guerta's death or after some time (i.e. months) has passed. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is more of Deb's self-loathing. |
| 22 weeks 1 day ago | Certainly the most plausible |
Certainly the most plausible answer along with a pay raise. But be could have been a national contender at USC assuming the rumors about their interest in hiring him are true. |
| 22 weeks 1 day ago | Surprising |
Riley seems to be fully content at OSU. He's had plenty of opportunities to leave for marquee programs like USC and never wavered except for the NFL. What draw could UW possibly have except for a bit more money? Perhaps this is just a Milesian attempt at a raise. Riley doesn't seem to be that kind of guy though. |

So, Butch Jones to Wisconsin then... |
| 23 weeks 4 days ago | That's about how I see it as |
That's about how I see it as well. I can only imagine this had to do with money or that Bielema clashed with the AD on some issue (similar why RR left WV). With all of the money the B10 network is raking in, it is absolutely puzzling why a coach of one of the conference's top programs would bolt for a midling program in the SEC. Even as it gets richer, the B1G continues to get worse. |
| 23 weeks 4 days ago | OP beat me to it. Can't |
OP beat me to it.
Can't believe Bielema wants out, and have a hard time believing Wisconsin wouldn't pony up more money to keep him there. Let's see how Arkansas likes MANBALL. |

Well that was quick. Mods delete. There wasn't anything posted when this post was being made. |
| 26 weeks 10 hours ago | Ugh |
I have nothing against Maryland except for a perhaps irrational and unfair dislike for it. But really, do we really need more second tier teams in the conference? At least Pitt would be in a traditional B1G state. If ND isn't joining, then why pursue additional members? |
| 29 weeks 5 hours ago | Good call |
Gibbons is turning into the silent hero of the offense. Who knew that our kicking game would be the greatest and only method of scoring the second half of the season. |
| 29 weeks 5 hours ago | Well, that was a rather poor game. |
At least the defense was solid, particularly considering how little offensive output there was post-Denard. |
| 34 weeks 4 days ago | Seriously |
It looks like a prop that's supposed to wiggle around to accentuate his fury. Hilarious. |

| 1 year 2 weeks ago | Congrats to RVB! |
He deserves the opportunity and I'm sure he'll make the most of it. |
| 1 year 2 weeks ago | RVB needs some love |
In my excitement I somehow forgot about RVB. I think I just assumed after he didn't got to Texas in the 6th that he'd end up there as a free agent. |
