A couple besides Jeff Thomas...
Edwardsville has 2017 DE stud AJ Epenesa, who performed better at the Chicago NFTC this summer than Jashon Cornell did (beat him for DL MVP). He will have a Michigan offer in the near future.
O'Fallon has 2016 RB Kentrail Moran, who holds a Michigan offer and has the Wolverines on top as well.

It is totally false.
|7 weeks 3 days ago||Right?||
Any prediction made on him was based off of pure speculation. There was no good info out there on what he was going to do. Even those calling MSU late were going off of a quick reaction on his visit to EL before he made it to the BBQ.
|7 weeks 4 days ago||He||
He will only be like Josh Garnett if he tells commits and coaches he is committing to Michigan and then commits elsewhere.

I don't make a prediction unless I confirm information from more than one source on a situation, or if someone I trust has done the same. Very rarely do I shoot from the hip when making these predictions. I have a few times though, if we're being honest.
It's a useful tool. It's not flawless. There are some analysts who throw things out there, but most tend to be responsible. There are some fringe OSU bloggers that go very Buckeye-heavy and when I first started with them I made a couple irresponsible choices, but for the most part it's going to give you a pretty accurate idea of what's going on in a kid's recruitment.

Michigan is in the conversation for a lot of top players right now. That's what happens when you have a small class and can narrow your focus on a smaller group of overall players.
How they finish will in a lot of ways be determined by how they finish on the field this year, at least with the players that plan to wait that long to commit. The honeymoon in some ways is over as far as recruiting goes; some kids want to see a high quality product on the field.
As far as the "maize and blue fever" or whatever that is, those who believe that probably don't follow the site very closely. Michigan has a long track record of doing very, very well when they get players on campus. In terms of strictly recruiting, they are easily one of the top programs in the country, which is why players are consistently high on them when the coaching staff puts the effort in with them. Saying Kendall Sheffield (example) wants to visit (which he does) and making it clear that LSU, Alabama and Texas A&M will be difficult to beat is not pumping out sunshine.
Appreciate the shout-out though. Hope everyone is doing well.

The amount of "hahahahahaha"s vastly outweighed the "LOL"s that I got regarding the Borges news

But one name to keep an eye on, at least as a potential offer is Kelly Bryant out of Piedmont, SC. He's getting looks and has the Gardner skillset. Clemson will be tough to beat though: Kelly Bryant

His teammate WR Trent Irwin is a four-star player who has seen varying interest from Michigan. Irwin has relatives that went to Michigan as well and they'd be a major player if they offered.

It's recruiting news, but not Michigan-related. Looked to be at first. You're right though, you can carry on.
|1 year 6 weeks ago||He||
He and 2016 RB Kentrail Moran had discussed coming up for a visit last week because Jackson was still supposed to be in town, and Moran was invited to the BBQ but had no transportation. The two are friends.
It did not take place, and yes Jackson is an extreme longshot even if he does come to campus.

Thought it was odd that Tim didn't specify; 99% chance it will be for the ND game.
|1 year 7 weeks ago||Les||
Les Miles offered Jared personally, which is relatively rare. It was absolutely not a walk-on offer.
|1 year 8 weeks ago||I||
I think he has that potential. You'd be hard pressed to find a better size/speed combo at his age.
|1 year 9 weeks ago||This||
This is so far from the truth.
The ironic thing about Tremendous is that when it started, I didn't even have any interest in recruiting, let alone have a subscription of any kind.
Still, it's clear you're making an uninformed blanket statement without following my body of work. Haters always gonna hate.
|1 year 10 weeks ago||Hey guys||
You have to sign up for the trial to bill you annually to be eligible for the full free trial until December 31st. If you did this correctly, you will not be billed until January 1, 2014. My assumption is that you signed up for monthly billing if you have been billed. There is no bug.
Dan at customer support (email@example.com) can fix this in the click of a button if you email him your username and just say you may have signed up incorrectly.
The trial is very simple: you have entirely free access to the site until December 31st. At anytime before that, you can cancel. You will not be charged a penny before that.
I apologize for any issues. If you ever had any questions or concerns upon a signup or regarding anything like that, you can email me personally too at firstname.lastname@example.org. It's a good trial and opportunity and is not set up to fool anyone by any means.

I was as surprised as anyone to know that, but yes he's being looked at inside, at least right now. I assume these things can definitely change.

I posted this at our site, but will share that I know why JC/Bama guys switched their picks, but am keeping my pick for Michigan.
|1 year 16 weeks ago||Scott||
Scott does not hold an offer, and I have reason to believe (not certain) that McKenzie does not hold a Michigan offer either.
It's Ballage, Mixon, Hilliman or bust. No new names have popped up in a while, and they're in good with a few 2015 backs. Green/Smith have allowed them to swing for the fences in '14 and then get back to work in the next cycle.
EDIT: RB is a position to watch at camp though; I shouldn't have disregarded the position completely. Still, they are not heavily pursuing any option they haven't offered yet.
|1 year 17 weeks ago||Underwood||
David Underwood has been making a concerted effort to try to get Michigan more involved in the state of Texas. This is good because 2015 is loaded as usual. Three of the four linebackers Michigan has offered in that cycle are from Texas, including Anthony Wheeler out of Skyline in Dallas this afternoon.
|1 year 20 weeks ago||Hey guys||
Lurking a bit tonight; Artavis Scott has a spot in this class regardless of what happens.
|1 year 22 weeks ago||Fair||
It's a fair criticism. It's hard not to predict optimistically when you only cover one team. Still learning, but getting better.
Still, people always remember the ones you miss, and not the ones you get right. Like Drake Harris. Oh wait.

Did the interview via text last night; it's exactly how it was written.
"I would say that it is a soft verbal (to MSU) and Michigan is at the top right now I really like it there."
|1 year 29 weeks ago||Hey Guys||
I figured I could sneak over here for a second and give you a little help.
Juju Smith is being recruited at safety.
Kalen Ballage is a legit option at running back (90% he's being recruited there). Shai McKenzie is a possibility too; I'd add those two.
Hurd is a zero chance option.
Christian McCaffrey is high on the WR board; Michigan is the only school looking at him there.
Andrew Williams out of GA is a top target at DE. Still don't think Henderson has an offer.
Braden Smith likes Michigan; I'd put him at OT
Nick Watkins is a longshot, but will visit; put him at CB; same for Tyler Luatua at TE
Garrett Dickerson is a must-add at TE as is Nic Weishar
Michigan's chances with Hand are much more than a dream.
Hope that helps.

Apparently it's a system glitch. They offered yesterday; they don't lead.

Thanks guys. This would have never happened if Brian hadn't interviewed me for the job that Ace deservedly got. It was the motivation I needed.
|1 year 36 weeks ago||This||
This thread seems to indicate that his coaches are pushing him to look at other schools but that his mother wants him to stay in the South. If he visits, it might be worth discussing, but I'm betting on Georgia/Auburn/LSU at this point: LINK

Twitter is pretty much like everything else; it's a valuable resource if you use it correctly. Many do. Many don't.

I think it's a peculiar connection.
The Singletary part is more of an indicator to me than anything. At the very least, it's showing that Michigan is looking into his perceived interest to try to set up a visit. Obvious longshot is obvious, but even having the attention of the top players in the country is a win for the program, especially when it's so far outside their normal recruiting footprint.
