David Underwood has been making a concerted effort to try to get Michigan more involved in the state of Texas. This is good because 2015 is loaded as usual. Three of the four linebackers Michigan has offered in that cycle are from Texas, including Anthony Wheeler out of Skyline in Dallas this afternoon. |

Lurking a bit tonight; Artavis Scott has a spot in this class regardless of what happens. |

It's a fair criticism. It's hard not to predict optimistically when you only cover one team. Still learning, but getting better. Still, people always remember the ones you miss, and not the ones you get right. Like Drake Harris. Oh wait. |

Did the interview via text last night; it's exactly how it was written. "I would say that it is a soft verbal (to MSU) and Michigan is at the top right now I really like it there." |

I figured I could sneak over here for a second and give you a little help. Juju Smith is being recruited at safety. Kalen Ballage is a legit option at running back (90% he's being recruited there). Shai McKenzie is a possibility too; I'd add those two. Hurd is a zero chance option. Christian McCaffrey is high on the WR board; Michigan is the only school looking at him there. Andrew Williams out of GA is a top target at DE. Still don't think Henderson has an offer. Braden Smith likes Michigan; I'd put him at OT Nick Watkins is a longshot, but will visit; put him at CB; same for Tyler Luatua at TE Garrett Dickerson is a must-add at TE as is Nic Weishar Michigan's chances with Hand are much more than a dream. Hope that helps. |

Apparently it's a system glitch. They offered yesterday; they don't lead. |

Thanks guys. This would have never happened if Brian hadn't interviewed me for the job that Ace deservedly got. It was the motivation I needed. |

This thread seems to indicate that his coaches are pushing him to look at other schools but that his mother wants him to stay in the South. If he visits, it might be worth discussing, but I'm betting on Georgia/Auburn/LSU at this point: LINK |

Twitter is pretty much like everything else; it's a valuable resource if you use it correctly. Many do. Many don't. |

I think it's a peculiar connection. The Singletary part is more of an indicator to me than anything. At the very least, it's showing that Michigan is looking into his perceived interest to try to set up a visit. Obvious longshot is obvious, but even having the attention of the top players in the country is a win for the program, especially when it's so far outside their normal recruiting footprint. |

I think the possibility of Lewan leaving after this season were high going into the season, so I don't think that really has had an effect on their OL recruiting at all. |
| 20 weeks 1 day ago | It |
It was more than Fox. A few of the current commits weren't happy at all at the original idea of taking a sixth OL. They've all calmed down now and it's a non-issue. |
| 20 weeks 1 day ago | This |
This is the case. I was told by Henry to keep it on the low yesterday, but they're going to visit his former Gilman teammate Cyrus Jones and Henry decided he wanted to go. He contacted the coaching staff beforehand to make sure that it was OK that he went on the trip and they said it was. It's really nothing to worry about. |
| 20 weeks 1 day ago | Hunt |
Hunt is really good friends with Kyle Bosch; in fact, I'm pretty sure Bosch is the one who put him in touch with the Michigan coaches originally. I think he's definitely the favorite out of the new group of 2013 OL the coaches are targeting. |

A quick follow-up comment; as long as commitments check with the coaches, they're allowed to take other EDIT: UNOFFICIAL visits. The Cass Tech kids visited Alabama this summer while traveling to a 7v7 tournament; this group included Jourdan Lewis. |

I hope people don't believe I enjoy partaking in that part of the process. It's the most annoying, but when people ask if I can clear up something, I attempt to. |
| 20 weeks 2 days ago | Weird |
Weird because I talked with him shortly after his official to Ann Arbor a couple weeks ago with the rest of the class. He said he had a blast and that it reaffirmed why he chose Michigan in the first place. I'll try to get in contact with him to see if it's legit. |
| 20 weeks 5 days ago | He |
He hasn't had a set date for an announcement since his recruitment began. He's been one of those "when it feels right, etc." kids. Rivals also posted this article with Dymonte Thomas, who plans to recruit Green hard this week. It's hard to say when he'd announce though. |

Dogfish Head Chicory Stout; first time having it, pretty solid. Merry Christmas. |

Michigan also offered 2015 ATH George Campbell (Tarpon Springs, FL/East Lake) today too. He's teammates with Mason Cole and Artavis Scott. An elite WR/DB talent. |
| 22 weeks 3 days ago | The |
The plan has been for him to choose the school he likes and that his mother would follow him to wherever he goes. I think it's more of a "you choose where EDIT: you want to go and I'll come live in that town so I can watch you on Saturdays" type thing. He's alluded a few times to education and that being the major factor his mother has pushed in regards to where he should go, not distance. I believe (I may be wrong) that she's self employed and that's part of the reason why it can even work out for her to move where he goes. I can understand where it didn't make a ton of sense, but I wrote it in a rush on my way out the door this morning.

| 22 weeks 3 days ago | Hey guys |
The only reason I even tried getting a hold of Derrick is because the report seemed weird to begin with; he's said multiple times that his mother is going to move to whatever city he plays football in, so I don't see distance or location as a factor at all. I know nobody likes Farrell, but he's definitely in tune to what's going on with Green and I'd listen to what he reports before I'd listen to what looks like a Tennessee fan reporting something like that. That's not saying Tennessee isn't a possibility or that he's favoring Michigan instead; he's been quiet for a while and the fact he hasn't chosen is peculiar, but he's maintained that he was going to take his time and not rush a decision, so there's that too. |
| 22 weeks 4 days ago | Fox |
Fox wasn't the only one, but it does sound like the overall tone may be changing and that the current commits may be OK going with more. One commitment told me yesterday that we may even take 7 OL now. |
| 22 weeks 5 days ago | IF |
IF a defensive back recruit in this class moves to offense, it'd likely either be Jourdan Lewis or Channing Stribling. Given they are likely to take yet another DB in this class, I've actually believed there's a possibility one gets moved over. |
| 23 weeks 2 days ago | Couldn't |
Couldn't really speak on Kozan, but most national analysts had Diamond and Garnett pegged to Michigan last year as well except for the West Coast people who correctly predicted Garnett to Stanford. |
