That happens but isn't always the case

I've had similar experiences with panhandlers where I live on a major social/shopping hub street. There are a lot of the same people out there frequently, and most don't have any interest in food help. They want money, cigarettes, booze, drugs, or combination of same. One really nice guy is turning 50 literally every day he's out there, and straight up says he just wants cash for beer.

But the thing is those that you can encounter like that aren't generally representative of the greater homeless population, there are probably countless more that could actually use the help and would appreciate - they just don't converge on traffic centers as much.

He's picked it back up some lately

but these 2 years since deflate gate have had him at his lowest yards, completion %, and worst TD:TO ratios since his first season as a starter. Correlation/Causation and all but it'd be telling if that trend continues

If you want to see something funny

go look at Rodger's stats since deflategate. HIs efficiency has tanked.

If you remember, he was the one that admitted to always trying to over-inflate footballls - as in like on purpose, every game. No penalties ever came his way, though.....

"The first Lamar Jackson-type dude"

aka Lamar Jackson?

He's going to be back in Louisville next year and likely improved. If his offensive line improves much at all with him, he'll break the NCAA TD record.

I'm surprised no Taco

he was possibly the most dominant pass rushing end in college the last few weeks.

IF he has ESPN or you can give him a login

use a VPN or browser extension like Hola to make it appear as if he's in the states then just use Watch ESPN. Hola is also a great way to get around region blockouts with Watch ESPN, I'm sure there are others but that one is simple and I like it.

Plenty of sites already mentioned, as opposed to stream2watch or firstrow I greatly prefer cricfree.sx - they have fewer pop ups and usually link to the same source feeds the others use. They have deidcated streaming channels for most major US sports channels so it's easy to just pick ESPN usa and get the direct ESPN feed.

Adblock is a must for all options.

Also confused by use of Peppers on offense

basically all Pepcat predictable runs into the defense or short side of field.

I'm sure it's a set up for something eventually but you'd think they'd at least try getting him in space once. Sweep wide, roll him out, end around, etc?

Since everyone is joking on the title or making fun of louisvill

the NOA basically says nothing further coming to the university, the NCAA holds that the assistant McGee is predominantly responsible and though Pitino should have known he wasn't complicit. He'll likely get a suspension of a few games. No illeligible players played on any of the years it went on, including 2013, and the total cost of infractions was $5400 over 4 years (so like, nothing), and there will be no wins vacated.

Speight disappointment

I think comes as much from game viewing as it does from pure stats. His stats aren't bad at all, but when you watch the games you see him short arming easy crossing routes, throwing balls that are even outside a wide openn 'Butt'zone, and looking far too uncomfortable on plays in which he has plenty of time and space. Stats don't show that he could and should have been much better in a few games.

Then again, Michigan is inarguably one of the top 4 teams right now, and only has positions of any real concern at all, QB and Kicker. Speight has the ball a lot more than Allen so he has plenty of opportunity to draw ire.

The guy from Ole Miss

has more catches, more yards, a better average, as many Touchdowns, better YAC, and a better receiving grade than Butt thanks to Butt's case of the dropsies recently.

Fan blinders in full force here

2 things though

Denard, and most other September-Heisman people's numbers weren't as mindblowing as Jackson's so far and weren't against as good of opposition.

and 2, they weren't on potentially great teams like Louisville is now. Unlike Denard, Jackson has a ton of talent around him

Reports right now are

that the other swimmers have all confirmed the story was made up and Lochte's idea or doing.

This is a waste of money BUT

didn't EA tease more NCAA football a couple months ago by posting like a cardiograph picture/gif acting like there was a pulse on the NCAA football facebook page or did that end up being nothing?

It seems like they're maybe that confident?

You get a big out of state player considered to be a steal by most recruitniks, I can see the logic in making sure he takes those officials. 1, it helps make him be certain and limits late flip risk and 2, if he's that sold on Michigan he'll just be espousing that to other recruits in the area. It'll look nice having a highly ranked guy from the south saying, "Yeah I saw Georgoa, I saw Alabama, LSU, etc. Michigan was still better."

I'd encourage everyone repeating this refrain

(though this is a politer version than saying she's a looney)

to check other actual sources and look at the bruises and choke marks she has all over and has posted online. TMZ didn't show them for some reason but it takes 5 seconds and they've already been posted/linked in this thread multiple times.

He didn't say there are two sides

You can say, "we should wait until there is more information to rush to judgment." and done that just fine, he said she could be a looney person making it all up for money. Those are vastly different and if you don't understand how that's in the same vein as, "I'm not a racist, BUT...." comments then wtf is wrong with you?

Besides letting his players get away with whatever they want

**good ones anyway

he is a well known cheat who racked up those Florida co-eds, so there's that.

Michigan, like all top universities

surely does plenty of things that skirt the rules as far as player benefits go. That's likely more of the on campus help type things, and no the same as Ole Miss or Auburn flat dropping thousands to get a recruit. I think Michigan for sure has its version of bag men helping current players, I've never seen any indication Michigan has anything near like Treadwell going to Ole Miss and flashing pictures of his sorority hosts and him with $1000s in cash.

#6 Ambry Thomas

really wants to play with his cousin Jaylen Kelly-Powell. Package deal caveats but both have said it's like 10/10 on importance. Important and useful because JKP  is the leaningest Michigan lean there is now.

If I remember correctly, JKP has a top 3 roughly of M, MSU, and ND

Thomas has a top 3 of MSU, M, PSU in rough orders I think.

JKP is way more Michigan than MSU, though, but Thomas has seemed like a Sparty lean. Thomas wants to wait to commit, JKP I think wants to decide soonish.

Scotland nearly left before

and the security of the EU was a heavy chunk of the reason they stayed in the UK. UK citizens in Scotland overwhelmingly voted to stay in the EU, they were like 65-75% for staying. Used to travel there often and still know a bunch of people in Glasgow and Edinburgh - evne ones that voted to stay in the UK before are mega pissed at the English right now, because it was their old, angry people that voted enough to bounce from the EU split. Ireland is in about the same boat.

This is different than Enron going under telling people to buy

the whole markets are dropping due to uncertaintly and discord, not a specific company like then. The markets will recover over long haul regardless, and if not then there may be bigger issues and causes than Brexit. As long as you're not investing short term and aren't looking to cash out next week, any invested money will be fine and not a big loss if left alone.

I don't think the concept is meant to be "Lebron now"

but imagine if people with Lebron's natural gifts started playing soccer early instead of basketabll/football/baseball/hockey. People like Lebron are natural born (with tons of effor obviously) amazing athletes, his entire life has been focused on turning him into a near unstoppable basketball force -- if the US had someone with his gifts and that kid grew up loving soccer instead, he'd almost certainly be very very good.

Soccer requires different technical skills for sure, but those are developed on top of natural gifts and work ethic. Do you think Messi isn't a world class athlete because he's smaller and plays soccer? No, because he's a great athlete with amazing technical perfection that has been developed over his life. The US has plenty of athletes with the natural gifts to be exceptional soccer players, we just need to be able to build the technical skills early like we do with other sports. Promising basketball kids are in AAU traveling camps by 10 now, football has year long 7 on 7 leagues and now camps all over with top tier hosting. Soccer has youth traveling teams as well, unlike the others it's just not near up to snuff globally; here a lot of 12 years olds are still playing in co-ed rec leagues coached by some kid's dad or a random gym teacher even when they're good because not many other good options, in Europe they're in development leagues by that point getting real coaching. Jurgen wanted to work on that, and started good things, but his performance with the USMNT despite a semis appearance at the Copa wasn't really up to expectations even for the US.

You guys have wonderful optimism

You know JK will take Beckerman and Wando over any of the young players without main national team experience.

Why?

The team has made no progress under him, he makes horrible lineup decisions repeatedly, and he'll be fired after we get bounced from the 2018 World Cup regardless. So do it now and maybe have positive momentum going into that, not be limping in with crap and everyone knowing the coach is on his way out.

We can fire Klinsmann now, right?

Right??

UM Athletics budget "break even"

are major universities still trying to pretend their athletic departments lose money? Even with Dave Brandon messing things up horrendously, if Michigan had a deficit it's because they largely wanted to and spent money on things to make sure it got spent in that year. This is to me like how every year tons of stories pop up about how some teams lose money going to football bowl games, even though that has been bunked a few times.

I'm sure they're trying

dude is a beast, but he has every other top school after him too pretty much so it would take work

But if it was in Burkina Faso

we'd get to hear people on TV try saying Ouagadougou a lot!

Basically what it really means

is that a coach is telling him that's their projection at this point. But that is ever fluid and could change once they start fall camp and players actually get to compete.

Saban's approach is that he's Alabama

it doesn't matter than he doesn't care about the players because they're Alabama, they'll win a lot of football games, some bowl games, get seen readily and often by scouts (plus for the plethora of great southeastern players be close to home), and have a nice path to the NFL. If Harbaugh shows that Michigan offers those things on the same level but actually you know.. gives a damn, then that will be a recruiting benefit.

The other mentioned lapse wasn't this tournament

He made that one bad mistake against Colombia but has been very good the rest of the time.

John Brooks was a fucking wall tonight

great defense.

I don't understand why so many think he should get Russia

It's 2 years away, that puts us 6 years away from being relevent for a World Cup.

When we're bounced from group stage here, let him go and maybe someone else can build on the young talent we have now.

We're going to get eliminated from group stage here probably

Gold Cup was atrocious, no Olympics.

But we won a couple meaningless friendlies against teams that didn't care a year ago. So yay?

Bradley is playing awful as well

back to back terrible giveaways, after being the cause of the PK goal as well.

Ok seriously

how does Zardes have this bad of a first touch still?

Bedoya is not helping at all

Yedlin had tons of space and he shanked it bad

Nope

would have been nice but he never does that

This seems to be our way

play pretty good and even impressive for like 70 minutes and be terrible in the rest out of nowhere. I'd say we even looked like the better squad for 25/45 minutes, and even for a good 10. Just stupid mistakes that good international teams SHOULD not make.

That goal was on Bradley

horrible give away led right to it

Why does Jermaine Jones always seem off?

His first touch is borderline awful and he has given away like 6 midfield passes already. I know he's liked because the dude will run and run all day but man, 2-3 times just a better touch would give us goal chances.

Because he's using homosexuality as an intended insult

it doesn't matter if he says something bad about homosexuality explicitly, it's the same concept as saying "that's gay" about something you don't like.

also think that's a clever idea

more unique than just a twitter poster edit, which I'm sure their recruits still get too.

It's not the same person

the one you replied to is a troll account. It used a capital i instead of lower case L in the Wolverine part. Looks identical on here.

Like I said, he does on core stats

but those ignore things like

1. Curry's early career injuries

2. that Curry barely plays 4th quarters now.

In stats rated to per 100 possessions or per 36 minutes (how the NBA usually does it, 3 quarters of play) Curry comes out significantly ahead of Thomas at this point in their careers. Also as noted, Thomas by year 6 was already in his decline, Curry at year 7 is getting better every year still. It's nearly impossible for him to improve next year... but people said that after what he did last year so who knows.

Regardless, there is no reasonable statistical measure out there that doesn't accept Curry is having most likely the best year ever right now. Traditionalists just don't like that becuase they hate all things new.

You're smoking some funny stuff or only looking at core stats

and acting like ppg means anything.

Per 100 possessions, how most basketball stats (probably all) should be measured, and by every measure your comparison of Curry to Isiah Thomas is just stupid and that's the best way to put it. Looking at their stats for 7th year in the NBA for each you get this comparison:

FG%: Curry 51% ; Thomas 46%

3P%: Curry 46% ; Thomas 31%

FT%: Curry 91% ; Thomas 77%

TS%: Curry 68% ; Thomas 52%

REB: Curry 7.5 ; Thomas 4.6

AST: Curry 9.3 ; Thomas 11.3

STL: Curry 2.9 ; Thomas 2.4

PTS: Curry 43.2 ; Thomas 26.3

ORt: Curry 126 ; Thomas 108

DRt: Curry 102: Thomas 106

PER: Curry 32.3 ; Thomas 18.2

Notice anything there?

tl;dr: at this point in careers as you said, Curry per possession is significantly better than Thomas was in everything except assists and defensive rating. He gets more points, rebounds, and steals - and almost as many asissts - whiile doing at a much higher shooting % across the fucking board than Thomas did. And that 7th year of career was one of Thomas's 6th best one, alread in his decliding years. Curry is literally getting better every fucking year seriously how do people post things like this and not even try fact checking?

Woodson is arguably the greatest DB in football history

the modern Nickel position was basically invented for him specifically when he got a little older and lost some of his greath athletic ability - and you know what? He went on to win Defensive MVP there still and make it a meaningful position. He was still a great corner in his later years with Oakland.

You aren't the greatest ever and consistently manage to reinvent your style and adapt to changing game without knowing how to play the position.

So far Michigan hasn't shown any interest

sounds like because they didn't think he had any real interest in going north to Ann Arbor and just wanted a Michigan offer because it was another nice thing to add to the list. I also always thought it might be a bit related to the drama attached to Moses. It's not really his fault, but being as high profile as he's been since 8th freaking grade is a factor and could lead to a "non-Michigan attitude" type situation. No idea if that applies or not, but wouldn't be surprising.

Either way, if Michigan wants him and thinks he's serious about considering it, he'll get an offer and hear from Harbaugh plenty. Plus - wouldn't it be sweet to arguably get the #1 prospect in the nation 3 years in a row? Peppers > Gary > Moses?

It's not really about merchandise

it's a joint business with his life coach dude whose name I can't exactly remember. The dude is one of those new-age homeopathy kind of guys that practices alternative medicine and pushes preventative health measure rather reactionary type medicines. Brady swears by it, and says his friend's methods saved his career after he had that infected surgery and was told by 'traditional' doctors he may not play again at all and not for another year if he did.

Twitter bios

that is the only place people are getting that info from
