| 1 week 2 days ago | Alamo Drafthouse is fantastic |
I live near multiple locations and it's always the first choice for movies at the theater. Great food & beer selections, plus great special events like the one mentioned above. My favorite was showing Jaws on the lake and having the viewers in inner tubes. Then they hired divers to mess with the viewers during the movie. |

The beer stains on my underwear are from expensive craft beer. |

mentioned that Bolivia was beautiful and that they got sick. A guy who had spent the past year traveling South & Central America said the only place he got sick was in Bolivia. |

When my wife asked if we could raise our kids Jewish, my reply was "As long as we raise them Michigan fans. You have your religion, I have mine." |

I lasted on the stock on my HTC DNA for about two weeks before getting Swiftkey 3 on it. I had it on my Thunderbolt and it's fantastic. |

Astrid Tasks is pretty useful for my task list and it syncs to a web site if you need it. Evernote is a good note and list keeping app that also syncs to the cloud Doggcatcher for podcasts, including Michigan Insider Slice is a great app for tracking and updating any online purchases Conference Caller is great since I have lots of work conference calls and am often working remotely. It lets to store and automatically dial different conference code numbers. Very useful. Instafetch automatically downloads your Instapaper links for reading offline Untappd is Foursquare for beer drinkers Out of Milk is a good grocery shopping list app. Can you tell I like lists? Mint.com is a great app once you get the browser app getting all your finances in one view CBS Sports is what I have to use since my phone doesn't support ESPN Scorecenter Shazam listens to songs and tells you the name, artist and album of the song. Also links to allow you to purchase the song from Amazon Splash ID is a great app for keeping passwords and ids and other key numbers GasBuddy shows nearby gas stations and gas prices along with a map Kitchen timer is just a kitchen timer, but it comes in handy when cooking and/or grilling

There were a lot of sloppy turnovers and a lack of consistant outside shooting with the Fab Five, as great as they were. There were a lot of awesome moments and highlights, too. It was exhilerating and aggrevating at the same time. And I think people are forgetting that Pelinka, Voskuhl and Eric Riley (another guy who stuck in the league for a few years) were on that bench as well. There was some depth. Where I think this current team has an advantage is that they seem better assembled to fit together. And they're better coached. I don't think Fish just rolled the ball out there as some suggest, but Beilein has a system and a philosphy that he's adapted very well to this team. And they're more consistant and reliable. |

Both the '89 team (4 lottery picks and like 10 NBA players) and the Fab Five (3 lottery picks) were more talented than this team. But college basketball was a lot more talented and veteran back then prior to so many early entries. So, in relative terms, this team seems better now, but let's see how they are midway through the B1G schedule. Either way, it's fun to at least be having this discussion. |
| 1 year 3 weeks ago | So what about all the RVs, commuters, tailgaters, etc. |
that show up at the Big House for every home game? How would these games cause any more logistics problems that the ND night game last year? Or all the caravans that you see all across SEC country in the fall? This is about two things. First, the schools in the south don't want to have to play up north after September. And second, the men in ugly jackets still want their cut. They've still got enough pull to make this happen. Don't forget these are the same people who put together the NCAA hockey tourney. |
| 1 year 3 weeks ago | So, at what point does someone on ESPN point all this out? |
I mean, as an independent sports news organization, they'll have something to say about this idiocy, right? Right? Anyone? Anyone? |
| 1 year 7 weeks ago | andy19il on Trey Burke: Go back to school |
Probably more impact coming from Chad Ford, though. |
| 1 year 8 weeks ago | O'Daniel |
I think, at least, that the player and his HS coaches would appreciate the honesty and not have the kid wasting his time & money on trips when there wasn't going to be spot for him. I think the bigger impact will be how Blake is treated now that he's here. But that's just my take on the limited information I get from the internet. Not sure if anything else went down. |
| 1 year 9 weeks ago | My son was 22 months for his first game |
It really helped that we had great seats (20 rows up on the 50) so he could see all of the action pretty close up. We left at halftime---any longer risked a meltdown. He's 2 years, 3 months now and he just sang The Victors with me today for the first time. |

...I think Bruce Weber ended Bruce Weber's career. |

That counts for a lot. |
| 1 year 32 weeks ago | Of all the stuff we lay at Rich Rod's feet... |
...I'm not sure lack of offensive innovation is one of them. We did a pretty good job of that the last two years when we started to get the right players in the system. But I'll give you the flexibility part of it based on the 2008 train wreck. |
| 1 year 33 weeks ago | UM alums in Texas |
As a UM grad living in Texas, I'm at least fired up to have a Michigan game I can drive to. I'd rather have us able to schedule home & home with some actual competition like UT or A&M or something, but I'll take what I can get in this environment. It's also good for recruiting to get all those Texas recruits at the game.

It was heartbreaking to watch Tripp go by on the cart with the brace on. |
| 1 year 39 weeks ago | What did he say about Chris Perry? |
Do we have any quotes about Mike Hart, Chris Perry, Ty Wheatley, Touchdown Tim and the guys who actually were good? |
| 1 year 40 weeks ago | 10) Drew Sharp is not eligible |
Though I'm pretty sure #6 and #7 at a bare minimum would disqualify him. |

Is it just me or does it seem like one of out every three recruits out of California is named Shaquille? |
| 1 year 51 weeks ago | And why stop it? |
They were beating the crap out of us every year. This might have come up sooner if we could have taken them down a peg or two. Winning covers most sins. |
| 2 years 42 weeks ago | Thanks for this, Brian! |
Now I know where to have the team start when I go thru the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind process. I think I'd rather do UFR on the past three OSU games. |
| 2 years 43 weeks ago | Desmond |
I think I'd go with Desmond ahead of Breaston when it comes to the bubble screen. I think you could make the case for Desmond ahead of AC on that, too. |

| 2 years 47 weeks ago | Brendan Morrison goal |
That goal seemed awfully similar to Brendan Morrison's 1996 championship winner. Not quite the same thing with the stakes, but the play really had the same action of the great chance, the shot to keep it alive followed by the puck/ball just sitting there to be claimed for the clinching goal. Amazingly, I couldn't find the Morrison clip on YouTube. |
| 3 years 25 weeks ago | Rule change |
Don't forget that they moved the kickoffs back to the 30 from the 35 a couple of years ago. That also helps, mainly in reducing touchbacks. |
| 3 years 28 weeks ago | Fantastic |
So maybe next year there will be fewer walk-ons in the starting lineup? |
| 3 years 34 weeks ago | Great to be a Michigan Wolverine chant |
The first time I heard it was after the '94 Michigan/ND game as we were celebrating in the streets after the Remy Hamilton kick. |

I like that one the best out of any of these designs. Can we put that one up for a vote? |
