strongly disagree. Denali aside, Rainier, Whitney, Hood, Gannett are all leagues more challenging than anything in the east. most western peaks are going to require a hike with more vertical gain than the elevation of the eastern peaks.
Rainier is no joke... but it's a walk in the park compared to Denali. Serious mountaineering skills, a month waiting for a weather window, and a bit of luck are all required.
I don't know how one looks at the play and thinks that Loveland was not clearly blocking. You have to put on the most maize-colored glasses possible to pick up some subtleties about who initiated the contact and spin some narrative off that. Just look at Loveland. My man is not out there to run a route. He is blocking (and doing a damn fine job of it). Should it have been a penalty? Yep! Was it called? Nope! These things happen and it's usually us on the getting screwed end. We can just call this what it was, believe McCarthy would have converted the ensuing 4th and long anyway, and move on with the W.

They shutdown the Phoenix reactor my freshman year, sadly. Never heard of any threats called in, definitely heard some other stories though. Oscillations are really interesting in nuclear reactors. Usually they decay away really quickly, but with careful adjustments, you can keep them going, but it's difficult. Kinda like trying to balance on a bike that isn't moving. One professor apparently kept them going for something like 30 hours. It was alleged that his efforts may have been aided by a choice substance or two.

skiing is definitely easier to learn, but I think snowboarding is easier to get good at, if that makes any sense.
in this vain, HIGHLY recommend wrist guards. never broke, but definitely sprained wrists before wearing them, haven't had any issues since.
