I was part of the inaugural club team at GVSU in '99. I am all too familiar with traveling and playing in tournaments on our own dime. For some tourneys we got to borrow a RV from one of my teammates parents otherwise we were crashing at friends places or my coaches sisters place for the Villanova tourney. I really miss those days!
I was wearing a ][V][ hat in new orleans a few weeks back and a couple 49ers fans approached me. We started talking about Jim Harbaugh and about how they really miss him as their head coach. I told them how lucky we are to have him and they agreed!
Just look at the way OSU has played their last 2 games. OSU is playing like Brady Hoke is their coach. Playing at the level of their opponent. Nebraska went toe to toe with them. The outcome of MSU and Ohio is a toss up IMO.
IMO the biggest weakness for our d has been those inside slants. The reciecers seem to gain inside leverage and they go for 10-20 yards when the qb makes a good throw.
From the replay the sound came from their shoulder pads. Thats where 1st contact was from. The player did launch but there was no forcible contact to the head conclusively! IMO the refs did get it right.
Hahahaha Peoples-Jones doing the Saquon swim after his TD catch! Also saw Khaleke Hudson doing the same thing after Watson's pick 6! Trolling at its finest!
